Both times, I was the only person in the room. It was very peaceful and I love that the room is large and there is a peaceful track playing with some serene music. Also they don't massage hard. And they never ask "how the is the pressure". You have to awkwardly ask them to go harder. And if they do, they eventually go soft again. And they ask what areas can I work on for you, or what extra areas need more work- and i tell them and it's always BS lol. They are afraid to get close to your groin areas or breast areas, even when I give them permission. AND THE CONTRACT AT THE START ASKS "are you comfortable with them touching you in these areas" YES I AM COMFORTABLE... but are your masseuses comfortable ? Some masseuses are def better than others, and i haven't tried all of them so I can't speak for all of them. But a lot of them are not worth it. David took the time to explain to me what he would do, as well as take the time to have me go through various movements to test mobility. If you're expecting a typical "chain" massage place, rest assured that this is 100x better and more individualized. He used different release movements so that my mobility was restored in my shoulder and lower back and even added in a bit of Reiki at the end, which I had never had before. His approach was different than any massage I've ever had, but also the most effective. I walked out and felt like I could move in a way that I hadn't been able to in a week and a half since sustaining my injury. It was a natural high. I would definitely make it a point to stop by for another massage in the future, and found it well worth the drive. Now I have to make an excuse to see my family more just to get a massage!

I have been dealing with a cervical disc injury with symptoms down my arm as well as a forearm strain and he was able to work with both, increasing my comfort level while traveling that week significantly. It was also just deeply relaxing and wonderful. Monica quickly diagnosed my skin problem as over-drying (which is counter-intuitive when you're having a break out) due to a different skin care regimen I'd been on lately. She did extractions where I really wanted to see my skin look lighter and cleaner but didn't go crazy with it so my skin was left calm and smooth. The products she uses really helped re-balance my skin and restore that missing moisture.
