The place does not have a good smell and frequently the staff talks among themselves or hand the phone to each other while you were being massaged. I swear that he has NEVER had a massage in his life and he doesn't speak a word of English. I generally like a firm pressure massage. However this guy was trying to crush me. He spent the first 10 minutes pressing down on the sides of my spine like he was trying to crack my back and then with all his weight pressed down for 15 seconds or so. I couldn't breathe and told him more than once it was too much pressure. He then moved on and was massaging my back and kept pinching me - I yelled OUCH several times. I never sat through a massage thinking - when will this be over- should I stop???? I just kept hoping that it would get better. He did an OK job with the hot stones but honestly I could do without that part generally - its hot and it is just rubbing against my skin.... but hey - it didn't hurt. Oh he kept burping the whole time too... (I think he was fighting back a cough - yuck) when he finished my back or legs he was punching me - not patting me - punching... I had to wave him off several times.... Finally when I rolled over he was doing an OK job on my face and then proceeded to violate my ears.... Just kept jamming his finger in I yelled STOP..... I have been to all levels of massage places from foot spas to high end spas. I do have different (lower) expectations of this but wanted one that day and no where higher end had anyone available so I took the risk.... well it was a major FAIL.... The only reason for 2 stars is my husband went also - he had a woman - name also unknown. She was fine. nothing exceptional - but what you expect for a $30 (plus $15 tip) massage. I walked in without an appointment and stated that I wanted 1 hour foot message. Vivian, I believe is the owner or who runs things around there. She was very friendly, made me feel very comfortable. Sat me down and told me how to adjust my chair, she gave me a complimentary bottle of Fiji water and offered chocolates. I have been to other foot spas in the past where they give you a quick back massage while your feet is soaking, but this place is strictly knees to toes. Ok, so the ottoman opens up and converts to a foot bath where I was able to soak my feet. You literally soak for 1 min after that your foot massage begins, while my feet was soaking I took out my phone Vivian said "do you need the wifi" . I don't remember the name of the guy who did my feet but he was magical, and before you knew it. I was knocked out. The chairs was really comfortable. Cons: - while getting your feet massage they don't give you a blanket like most places they give you a really big towel ( it looks like a blanket but it's not) it hard and rough. - they don't give the courtesy back rub ( which you never appreciate until you don't have it ) - chair massage. I paid $10 extra for 10 min for a chair massage cause I needed a quick run down and that's exactly what it was a quick rub down. It felt like I could have had my toddler give me a better massage then that. So please just stick to feet at this place.
