The location has a parking lot, but it also belongs to tenants of the apartment building above the shop. You have to make sure not to park in a numbered or "reserved" spot. Once inside, the waiting area is joint with their store. The people at the desk were quick to check people in but then advise you to wait if it is your first time. There were other people that were repeat customers and they allowed to go in to the room earlier while new customers still had to wait. They then offered tea or water while still waiting and as soon as you made the tea they said well we are taking you inside and you can't bring drinks because of the salt. I don't understand why they didn't offer the drinks earlier (we were wasting a full 20 minutes in the store area) or tell us it is available but warn us they would be taking us in and to have it on way out if we would like. Then the staff 3 or 4 times if it was our first time but didn't utilize that time to explain the salt cave. Instead, they waited until they took us in room then tried to explain in a whisper while disturbing other people already in there. They tell you it is 45 minutes, but the returning customers got to be in the room longer. It plays a "welcome announcement" after we entered the room, but then it made the announcement that the 45 minutes was complete before it was even 45 minutes (showed 39 minutes on our phone). The time seemed to start when the returning customers went in. The chairs they have are very uncomfortable and do not have lumbar support so spent entire time trying to get uncomfortable instead of relaxing. When we shared this with staff after exiting the cave they just said sorry to hear that and walked away. Other than the cave itself being nice and getting a nice warm blanket, there was nothing else to brag about. Will not be returning here.

This place is beautiful smells wonderful, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The store portion up front great items and decorated beautifully. The salt room was everything I hoped my husband and I enjoyed. We will be back for massages and another experience in the salt room. We left refreshed, stress free, and content. They also keep clean and they disinfect everything and that town a step back in time.

This place is hidden away, but definitely worth the find. I had a Salt Cave treatment and Massage and both were better than expected. Space is smaller, but the service and cleanliness was impeccable. Parking is a bit difficult, but there is a hidden alley you can go down for more parking space next to the boxing store. Definitely would come again!

This place was so cool and relaxing! It was my second time here and the lady at the front desk was very welcoming and made sure I knew where to go. The yoga class was in a salt cave that was so beautiful. I actually hate Sun salutations haha so I really liked that the class was a lot of stretching and the instructor even made sure you were doing it correctly. The water fountain in the room was so pretty and they had tea for you when you left. There are also a lot of items for sale outside, but not in a pushy way. Parking is a little tricky but there's this back parking lot hidden behind the boxing place. Plus it's close to a gorgeous park with lots of pond

We did a community-building work event and it was cool! They were very welcoming and kind and had a variety of activities for us including reiki, manifesting, and a sound bath in the salt cave. My favorite was the sound bath. I already listen to those and they are super relaxing. When we walked into the cave we sat down in some reclining law chairs and someone explained to us the benefits of the salt and how it can beneficial to the body. Then the person what a sound bath is and led us through one. I found it extremely relaxing after a long day of travel and work. It was a cute experience!

Wendy is the absolute best. From day 1, she has been super friendly and helpful. A salt session is so relaxing and the events are amazing. I particularly love the tea and tarot events but have attended many others. Keep doing an amazing job Wendy!!! You have created a truly magical space.

Such an impressive room!

Oh I hit jackpot when I came here. This place is amazing. Went for the first time today and as soon as you walk in you are greeter by warm welcomes and bright smiles. They walk you through the halls to the salt cave where they explain the benefits of the salt room and the room itself is truly AMAZING. When I found out they offer yoga in these rooms. I already knew I had to come back. They provide a place for you to put your shoes and belongs. Facility is clean and neat. When I finished my salt cave session I couldn't help but look at the stuff they had in front. Everything was displayed meticulously and I wanted to touch and buy everything. As soon as you talk to the owner you'll feel at ease and she offered so many wonderful suggestions and recommendations. She was super friendly and the type of person you can talk to for HOURS! Definitely worth stopping by and taking a workshop or two or ALL!

Very clean. The ambiance is beautiful and the esthetic is calming. I think it is a great spot for parties and special interest groups.

Mediocre experience overall. My mom is a professional massage therapist, and because of my…read morescoliosis I've had many massages over the years at different spas, so I have a good sense of what a quality therapeutic massage should feel like. Unfortunately, this was not it. The massage itself was far from relaxing. I had to ask Maria multiple times to ease up because several techniques were genuinely painful rather than therapeutic. Instead of leaving relaxed, I left tense and uncomfortable. What made the experience even worse was the checkout process. This massage was a birthday gift from my friend and had already been fully paid for in advance. Despite that, I was initially told I owed the full balance. After clarifying that it had already been paid, I was then asked about gratuity, which my friend had also already authorized. The interaction became awkward enough that I ended up putting an additional charge on my own card just to get out of the situation. Any relaxation I might have felt was completely erased at checkout. I won't be returning, not even if it's another gift.

Was brought here as a birthday surprise for a couples massage. We were warmly greeted and we filled…read moreout the usual questionnaire. Overall it was a nice experience and I would have given it 5 starts, but below is my honest feedback and if these things were fixed I would have given it 5 stars: I was lead to a women's locker / bathroom where I was given a bathrobe (a little too small for me- I found out later there were different sizes and could have requested a larger size). It was folded strangely in the locker and at first sight I wasn't sure if it was used. I secured my things and we were lead to a couples room. We lay on the tables and had an "80 minute" massage which they didn't realize (thought it for 60 mins) so after they checked , it was more like 70 minutes total. I'm usually quiet during my massage and would have liked my masseuse to ask for more feedback (harder/softer/ how does it feel?) My boyfriend was very happy with his masseuse. (Her name was Terry). I was confused at the end of mine when my masseuse applied cream all over my face and gently rubbed it in for quite a few minutes . Wasn't sure if I was getting a facial as well, never had that done before. Would have preferred she could have washed her hands and done a scalp massage instead. When done I went back to the locker room and took a shower in the oversized shower which had complimentary shampoo conditioner and body wash. They brought me a bath mat and a small towel. I would have liked a changing room as there was a small padded bench in the room but there were two other ladies in there so I changed in the toilet stall. I know space is limited but even another curtain just outside the shower area to separate it from the rest of the room would be nice for modesty reasons. Walking out they were very sweet and let me take photos to share. Physically I felt very relaxed and feeling good. We also spent a few minutes in the sauna with a cup of cold water they provided before showering.

Great value, great massage! At first arrival you are enthusiastically welcomed. They are very…read morefriendly and seem to enjoy what they do. The place is rather plane in style, but its clean and that is sufficient. My massages was wonderful. Neck, shoulders, arms, head, legs and feet all included in the reflexology massage. At one point it out me into a quickly passing deep sleep. I also quickly woke up because I wanted to remain conscious of this experience. There were a few annoying things that I could do without and they could improve on (they dumped the buckets of foot bath water into the toilet, which is very close by. The sound of a gulping, slurping toilet doesn't really match the environment you want to create for a place like this. Then there was the pause in the middle of the massage to answer the ringing phone. But I understand in a place like this it is maybe too expensive for them to hire a receptionist). That said, those little negatives were overshadowed by the quality of the massage. This will be a regular stop. (My wife was just as happy as I was)

Though I'd been to her once 2 years before, I was still nervous however once she started massaging I relaxed and though it was painful it was so much better afterwards . She really tried to work the knot out and help because she could see I was in pain. I only wish I could get back there weekly. The place is not fancy but it's neat & clean and she's very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to her in the future.

I had a massage by David and a facial by Monica at Golden Hands while visiting family and friends…read morein NY last week. David's massage was deep and effective (I'm a physical therapist and have a pet peeve about just being rubbed without it causing any actual change). I have been dealing with a cervical disc injury with symptoms down my arm as well as a forearm strain and he was able to work with both, increasing my comfort level while traveling that week significantly. It was also just deeply relaxing and wonderful. Monica quickly diagnosed my skin problem as over-drying (which is counter-intuitive when you're having a break out) due to a different skin care regimen I'd been on lately. She did extractions where I really wanted to see my skin look lighter and cleaner but didn't go crazy with it so my skin was left calm and smooth. The products she uses really helped re-balance my skin and restore that missing moisture.

The massage table in their office is always warm and I leave feeling energized and relaxed (I know it doesn't make sense but you have to try it!) after each visit. I've also visited David when I'm experiencing headaches or other temporary illnesses. He uses pressure points in addition to massage to release tension, open airways, and calm my nerves. I've been to the Massage Envy in Port as well as Red Door Spas etc and never left with the same feeling. I highly recommend Gold Hands in Port!
