I feel rejuvenated and relaxed after each session. They also offer yoga, reiki sessions, massages, and a lot more, and have spiritual items for sale from crystal, oils, jewelry, and beyond. I booked the signature massage recently in the salt room and it was such a wonderful, relaxing, tranquil experience. Love that I found a salt cave in Long Island. I was feeling stressed and bordering on congested so I went to a couple sessions in the salt cave using Classpass. Both times, I was the only person in the room. It was very peaceful and I love that the room is large and there is a peaceful track playing with some serene music. I highly recommend checking out this salt cave. The staff is lovely and I believe there is parking available, though I parked in the paid lot a block down off Main Street. Call and ask re: parking because I'm pretty sure they have some free parking somewhere. read more

I booked a private Salt Therapy session for 4, it was very good as expected. The Salt Cave rooms 8 comfortably. The place is neat, clean with the wellness vibe. Municipal parking is available. The staff was excellent, going the extra mile. I was a little lost and the attendant stayed on the phone with me until I found them. That is customer service. Salt Therapy is good for our lungs. The location has a parking lot, but it also belongs to tenants of the apartment building above the shop. You have to make sure not to park in a numbered or "reserved" spot. Once inside, the waiting area is joint with their store. The people at the desk were quick to check people in but then advise you to wait if it is your first time. There were other people that were repeat customers and they allowed to go in to the room earlier while new customers still had to wait. They then offered tea or water while still waiting and as soon as you made the tea they said well we are taking you inside and you can't bring drinks because of the salt. I don't understand why they didn't offer the drinks earlier (we were wasting a full 20 minutes in the store area) or tell us it is available but warn us they would be taking us in and to have it on way out if we would like. Then the staff 3 or 4 times if it was our first time but didn't utilize that time to explain the salt cave. Instead, they waited until they took us in room then tried to explain in a whisper while disturbing other people already in there. They tell you it is 45 minutes, but the returning customers got to be in the room longer. It plays a "welcome announcement" after we entered the room, but then it made the announcement that the 45 minutes was complete before it was even 45 minutes (showed 39 minutes on our phone). The time seemed to start when the returning customers went in. The chairs they have are very uncomfortable and do not have lumbar support so spent entire time trying to get uncomfortable instead of relaxing. When we shared this with staff after exiting the cave they just said sorry to hear that and walked away. Other than the cave itself being nice and getting a nice warm blanket, there was nothing else to brag about. Will not be returning here. read more

We came here for yoga in the salt room post-Christmas. Our instructor was very kind. I wish I knew beforehand that I didn't need to bring my own mat, that they have them there. I used my own and have to give it a good clean off due to the salt (fairly obvious, yes, but would have been nice to know beforehand). I also wonder how often the salt on the floor is refreshed, if it is. I wish they had more classes during non 9-5 working hours since I would regularly go if they did. They have a bunch of new age type stuff in the shop area such as crystals. This place was so cool and relaxing! It was my second time here and the lady at the front desk was very welcoming and made sure I knew where to go. The yoga class was in a salt cave that was so beautiful. I actually hate Sun salutations haha so I really liked that the class was a lot of stretching and the instructor even made sure you were doing it correctly. I made a last minute appointment on a Saturday morning for a 3:00 pm massage. I was coming in from Brooklyn so I planned to spend the afternoon in the area to run a few errands. Due to traffic I was about 15 minutes late to my appointment. Upon arrival I was told my masseuse is fully booked and to sign at the bottom of the paper that I hadn't read. The woman at the front was clearly bothered by my lateness, with good reason. It was an assessment of where you experience pain or discomfort in the body and you share any info about past injuries. I was just asked to sign without filling it out because I was running late, so that's what I did. I was sent directly back to the room with the lovely masseuse who got me set up. The masseuse was absolutely wonderful. She responded to my request for work on my shoulders and upper back where I have chronic pain. She asked me throughout the massage about pressure, my comfort level etc. She used some sort of hot stone to work on my back and legs which was so relaxing. I felt like I was on a cloud. Before I knew it the massage was over and I was asked to redress. When I stood up I felt like a new person. My upper back was warm and flexible. I could turn my head from side to side without pain! I have not felt such relief since my last massage over a year ago. I left the room and was given a small cup of water by the masseuse. I felt really great and relaxed, but I wished the massage had been for the full 50 minutes. I got to the front to pay and waited 2-3 minutes for someone to notice me standing there. Granted it was busy but there were an ample amount of employees standing around. When the employee came to ring me out she said you're all set to pay and put out her hand. I asked how much it costs. $155 she says. Ouch! I gave her my card and gave cash to the cashier for tip. I was surprised at the price. I got in my car and looked online to double check the massage prices that I had seen that morning before booking. I must have been given the hot Himalayan salt stone massage which is $155. It was wonderful but I wish I had clarified on the phone at the time of my booking that I just want a standard massage (I simply requested a massage). Alas the Roslyn Salt Cave is a small cute and comfortable place to visit for a spa day. Invite a few girlfriends and make an event out of it. With plenty of small salt stone gifts and chotskies in the front entrance, you could spend about 2 hours here. You won't regret it. read more

Staff is unprofessional because they rush you on the phone and do not want to hear anything other than paying up front for your appointment. The owner makes excuses for her staff regarding any kind of unprofessional response to a customer. When one of the people working there told another co-worker not to pick up a call, the owner said that it was because they were so busy due to 15 people coming out of the salt cave. I said that was all the more reason to refrain from saying that. If I was one of the 15 people, I would be concerned to hear that they don't pick up customer's calls. Owner made me feel so disrespected, unwilling to be professional and consistently interrupting me before I could finish a sentence. You may go there and think otherwise. They may seem so nice. But when a loyal customer of 7 years has a complaint to make, they are told that they are unreasonable, inappropriate, rude and they are shocked. They already have a cancellation policy and on top now want to charge customers the night before their appointment. Life happens and people are getting sick from one day to the other. Still, they will charge and not care about who returns. Very expensive place for services that are just as good elsewhere. read more

The group classes are great and affordable. My young sons 22 and19 both thought Paula's sound bath was a great experience. She showed us around the shop that had a few private rooms where she explained they have events, and then she showed us the salt cave which was more than I imagined. They offer different types of sessions- yoga, reiki, massage, and guided meditation or non-guided salt cave relaxation (which is what I've done). At the beginning of your session they explain the benefits of the salt room, and then play relaxing music- I walk out feeling so much mentally better and more relaxed. They have a shop full of different healing crystals and the reps are so knowledgeable so build in some time after your session for a bit of shopping!
