I came in Qing Lotus Spa to accompany my five for a one hour long massage and got the great surprise of getting a massage as well. The massage was very strong with a great deal of body pressure on pressure points. Lilly was very kind and used her full weight to put pressure on my back and legs. Sometimes, it was rough but I really like a strong massage. So in my book it was a ten. My wife was so relaxed that she felt asleep. We gave $10 for a $50 massage, but at the end Lilly exercised pressure on us to pay more. We said no, as we had agreed on the tip ar the beginning with the owner. Sorry this would have been a 40 percent of the massage's price. Overall, this is a clean place where you can get very strong massage. Be upfront with the tip as they may try to trick you in paying more. read more

Overall: the ladies are nice but it's not worth it; there are tons of great massage places in Flushing with prices that are just as good or cheaper with more straightforward pricing and a less sketchy environment. The women working there were super nice and the massage definitely loosened us up, but it couldn't be described as gentle. It was fairly painful and I personally wouldn't go back even just based on the massage alone. Though the prices started low, we were pressured to tip more (even though they had already tipped 10%), and when the staff undercharged one of us $4, they came running after us on the street even though we had tipped 30% already. We explained that he had already tipped 30% and asked them to overlook the $4 since we had already left, but they were not having that at all. Eventually we just handed it over to get them them to stop harrassing us. It was also on the creepy side. There was a guy who came and pulled back the curtain where we were getting a massage--I think he was trying to see who was working inside, but regardless, it wasn't appropriate or professional. Not sure how this place has a 4 star rating compared with all the other options in Flushing but all things considered, you're better off going somewhere else. read more

1/5 .... I have been there multiple times... my original review was 4/5 because they do not do couples massages and they really push for a 20% tip but it was nice enough. It got worse each time. My gf and I did a foot massage as that you can sit together and a customer sitting next to us was on his phone the whole time ruining the vibe... they also swapped out the girl giving me mine for a guy just when a new customer came in that only wanted a woman... the staff hinted at the loud customer to stop a few times but he just talked lower and played loud videos on his phone. They need a phones on silence policy! They finally said something but the guy was almost done by then...he then left without giving a tip and that caused looks of panic on the staff... which raised stress in the room. The next full body we got (again no couples massage option just separate rooms ...) my gfs was fine but mine they gave me a guy when I thought I was getting a woman like last time?!!? I rolled with it but it went downhill quick !!! IMPORTANT: INAPPROPRIATE The guy was rough on the shoulders but most importantly inappropriate with the moving of his pelvis near my arm !!! I felt more stressed leaving then when I entered. My GF went into her Massage before me but some how mine ended before hers? Luckily I wanted mine to end... My advice is speak up at any of these spots. Do not get bullied into 20% tips for a bad experience. I told my Gf that I do NOT want to go back there. Highly recommend!!! I did read all the reviews as I am very critical about my massages. There are few negative reviews here but our experience (I went with my boyfriend) was very positive. The receptionist was very friendly also. I had Cindy and my boyfriend had Jack and they were both great! The only thing I will leave here is that there was a small mix up. I called to make the appointment ahead of the time and requested 2 female massage therapists but we had one male and female. We didn't make a fuss about it but something I would remind upon arrival next time if you are very specifics with your preference. Another thing is that the location is a bit away from the 7 train stop for those of you coming by subway. But definitely worth it. Great price this place offers！When you walk in, you are directed to choose what service you'd like and then you get No extra charge for a shared couple room which is nice and the masseuses can do different levels of pressures for you . full body work which was fabulous, and comes with hot stones , but being the baby I am, the rocks were too hot and I kept wiggling. Where all my troubles were going to slip away... place is cleaned !! My massage was okay not great not good but okay. I had to tell the masseuse a few times to go easy. Felt like she was creating more soars and knots. Felt so tense mid way. Then i feel she got tired of hearing me complain and finally did better. Might have caught the masseuse on an off day. This place exceeded all of our expectations. Both masseuses were extremely knowledgeable with our deep tissue/lymphatic massages. I also received gua sha treatment on my back which was NO joke (causes minimal bruising that reduces the following days). It was so intense but completely got rid of my chronic back tension. Beware the prices are not what they seem... My experience was good until it was time to pay. The full body massage is $45 and they FORCE you to tip $20 per person, otherwise the older male employee here will argue with you. This approximately a ~45% tip. This is a sleazy tactic to get people in the door and then force an up charge on them. It doesn't feel good to be taken advantage of, so I would avoid this place. A $55+ massage is similar to what you can get in Manhattan Chinatown or Brooklyn. At that point there's no need to go all the way to Flushing. Other people have had similar experiences as well. To the business owner: I don't understand the logic of forcing people to tip such a high amount. You'll lose money/business in the long run. Think long term instead of short term. If this place was good I'd recommend it to my friends, but now I'm telling people avoid it! read more

We had Micheal and Mimi as our therapists and they were attentive and adjusted pressure right away. 10/10 would recommend. This place is very unorganized, my husband had called for a couple massage and booked the time and requested we have two females in the room, no men. We arrived and was guided into the room to get ready, a lady had covered my body for me in beginning, midway into our 1-hour massage, my husband looked up and noticed a man massaging me, -the staff had swapped massage therapist in between our sessions with ZERO communication given to the us, the paying customers, my husband spoke up and spoke with the manager about this issue, they quickly gave us the two women to finish our massage session, that felt very rush and the whole energy was off after this incident started, the woman who massaged my husbands shoulders, was very tough, my husband told her to be easy, we got home and before he showered he noticed serious bruising on his shoulder.. the "manager" at the desk wasn't very apologetic.. we just paid and left, we will NOT return to this spa, who has multiple people in and out of the room during a session?, very strange in my opinion, at LEAST communicate with the customers during their session The staff and management could definitely work on their communication and organization of scheduling clients massages and also confirm with the customers on their preferences on gender in the room, and consider their pain tolerance!! Incredible experience!! My girlfriend and I stumbled across Qing Lotus Spa as we were in the Flushing area and decided to give it a try. Jack and another lady were our masseuses and it was very clear they were well trained and experts at what they do. We both got a back massage and my girlfriend got an additional lymphatic drainage.
