My experience is strictly with bringing phone recharging batteries for recycle. Upon entering we were immediately approached by the security guard after being greeted by the associate at the door. I was looking for the bins for electronic recycling. It was a little disconcerting as he was aggressive. I'm sure he didn't mean to be and after some discussion with the associate who had greeted us, the associate asked to see the batteries. I showed them and then was told they could recycle them. That was great. But instead of taking them, the associate said to put them in the cardboard box behind the curtains the guard had shown us. I would agree with the reviews on customer service of there being something lacking. We looked around for blind box cards and checked out the toy department. The store is no frills and warehouse feel. I used to live in the area, and remember when it was welcoming. Oh well, things change. I felt like they have to size up the customers for threat of crime because that's what the experience upon entering was like. It's sad and affects the customer service feeling. Stan was amazing with customer service. I brought a dryer,the dryer never arrived to the distribution center for delivery it was "lost". My daughters appliances was lost as well. After a quick review service several customers large purchase items were" lost". I was told to guarantee receipt, self pick up highly suggested. The store price matched the lost item and replacement item to help rectify the situation. If I could give zero stars, I would. I returned to this outlet ready to purchase not just the washer I had previously discussed with a helpful associate, but also a dryer and a shop vac. I had been quoted $412 out the door for the washer and was eager to complete the deal. Upon arrival, the associate who had assisted me before was busy, so I politely sought help from another employee. He ignored me until I addressed him directly, at which point he offered a curt apology. This employee turned out to be Casen, the manager. Instead of assisting me or honoring the previous quote, Casen was dismissive, claimed he had no control over pricing, and displayed a lack of professionalism. Due to this experience, I decided to take my business elsewhere. On my way out, I informed the original associate that I had intended to purchase multiple items, but Casen's behavior resulted in the loss of that sale. If this is how management treats returning customers, I recommend shopping at a store that values and respects its patrons. read more

BBO used to have great prices. Now their used and scratch and debt appliances are MORE than the exact same brand new model at Home Depot. I mentioned that to a BBO employee, and he said he knew that. The discounts are very fair. I've never had an issue with delivery or install. Bought a dishwasher from Best Buy online and was told I could pick it up here same day. I go into the store, and they tell me they don't have it. Workers were so unhelpful. They gave a couple different explanations that didn't make sense. Communication was really poor - the manager would pop into the conversation at times, acting like I should've known the item I had already bought wouldn't be at this store, and then would just walk away. Every delivery appointment - 4 of them - have been cancelled. 4 entire days of wasted time and lost money from having to take off of work. When you call customer service they literally do not care. Bought a 43" tv back in August. Lasted until the end of December when the thing just wouldn't turn on. Went back for an exchange, and was told I couldn't be helped there and was told to go back to the bigger store. Excellent deals on televisions and appliances that you won't find anywhere else. However, customer service is absolutely horrible! Teenagers who are sitting down and playing on their phone and are completely unwilling to get up and help customers. The deals are still worth the trip even though service is horrible. read more
