Bought a Samsung 75 inch tv from this store and was told it was brand new and taken out of the box to display it. They told me they watched some football on it since they took it out of the box. The protective film was still on the screen and they hooked it up so I could see it working. It was very bright in the pawn shop and hard to see the screen. I bought the tv and when I got home I hooked up the tv and I could see that all the display settings were maxed out and I reset the tv to the default setting and on the bottom left of the screen there was several dark spots on the screen. I contacted Samsung and they said the dark spots on the screen were damaged led's do to settings all the picture settings to their maximum. I will never trust this pawn shop again telling me this tv was brand new. I have called them and they will not help me at all. read more

Tried pawning off some newer beats I bought last year for 150$ and never used, he said he'd only give me 10$. Corded skull candies at Walmart cost more then 10$. Subsequently I declined. All I can say about this Pawn Shop is if you are in need of money or wanting to sell something do not ever consider this shop as an option as somewhere to give your business!!! You would be better off burning your belongings and enjoying the warmth that the flames give you for those few moments. The manager of the shop will low ball you to the point that it would be laughable if it wasn't so absolutely maddening... Don't get me wrong I know that Pawn shops will never give you what your items are actually worth at most you can usually expect about 50% of what they are selling for at that time. But this guy Named A_ _ y will not give you anything even remotely close to 50% of the items value for example if you bring in an item that is selling for $100 at the time he will likely give you about $7-$12, $20 at most. He is just looking to take advantage of people who are in a tight position and he knows that he can rob people if they are desperate enough. So do yourself a favor save yourself the ease of time and the aggravation and take your business elsewhere. If the individuals working at this shop especially the one named above are only willing to buy items for a few dollars then they should have a taste of what their business will look like when the only items they have coming in are worth nothing but a few dollars. I went to this shop to try to sell a very nice item worth nearly $800-$1,000 and there were examples of the same items that have recently sold for that much or more on eBay, so at a pawn shop you could expect to get around $400-$500 for the item. A _ _ y offered me $100 when arguing about how the value was much higher he raised his offer to $110 I laughed my way out of his shop took it to another pawn shop down the road and they offered me $550 without hesitation. Like I said do yourself a favor and don't give this guy your business take your items elsewhere to a shop that isn't trying to take advantage of people who are already in a tough situation. Take it somewhere else that understands that fact and tries to help the people that come into their shop while still maintaining a profitable business. If you don't believe me go to the shop and sit there for 30 minutes to an hour. Watch the reactions and attitudes of the customers who go in there to sell or loan an item during that time and see if you witness a single individual walk out of there who seem as happy or happier then when they arrived... I have never seen anyone sell something there who seems to project any sort of attitude that hints towards their feelings of receiving a fair deal. NOT MILITARY-FRIENDLY. I stopped in today to look at possibly picking up a firearm for home defense. The very polite man at the counter asked for my ID, in order to show me the weapons I was interested in. I am a Military Dependent (Spouse is a U.S. Air Force Officer stationed at USSF Buckley Garrison), with both a Military Dependent and Retiree (served 23 years myself) ID Cards, a valid Florida Driver's License (our home of record), and a Florida Concealed Carry Permit (reciprocity in Colorado) - all of which I presented to him. He then stated that, without a Colorado ID, he could not show me the firearms. He then went to the back of the store to check with the manager, who told him that he could not show me the firearms without a Colorado ID. I, again, explained that we are a Military family and are not required, by both Federal and State law, to change our licenses and registrations when we arrive at a new duty assignment. The gentleman apologized and stated that store policy prohibited him from showing me the weapons. He seemed genuinely apologetic, but could not violate their policy. I told him that I would take my business elsewhere and thanked him for his assistance. To have a business less than 2 miles from a U.S. Military base and refuse to sell to Military personnel or their families is a very poor business practice and is a slap in the face of those of us who have and are still serving. read more

First off, a big thanks to Nick, the Store Manager at this US Pawn location, for single-handedly changing my opinion about pawn shops (based on pretty bad past experience). Ok, so the fact is, there are going to be times when pawn shops have exactly what you want at a reasonable price, but folks have some hang-ups for this reason or that about shopping at one. Worry not. My experience this past Saturday at US Pawn made up for the past several negative experiences I'd had at other pawn shops--whether it was staff who could care less about your questions regarding the product and just want to get your cash and get your ass out the door, or some who create entirely misleading advertisements to draw you into the store, then, when you get there and see the product and you comment on that fact, they blow it off and advise that you don't have to shop there (Hey, no problem. I won't now, and won't ever again.) Now, US Pawn? Well, they're a great business with quality items, and also happen to have stellar customer service. I was worried that I might have to twist someone's arm to even get close to the leaf blower I was interested in before waving some cash around, but as soon as I walked in and told Nick what I'd come to see, he immediately, proactively suggested we go out front so I could try it out, taking the time to hang out with me while I happily created a huge dust cloud in front of the store for five minutes. He then answered all my questions the best he could--I mean, who's a leaf blower expert anyway?--and discussed pricing with me, quickly landing on a selling price that worked for both of us, then efficiently completed the transaction with a genuine 'thank you,' and actually remembered my name throughout the process (I know it seems minor, but it means a lot). As I left, eyeing some incredible, classic Bose 901 speakers Nick happened to have displayed for sale, he invited me to keep an eye out on Craigslist for other items that may be interesting to me, and I told him--genuinely--that I absolutely would. The price $59.95 is a game my mom used in her store because it sounds better than $60. Notice the other trick.....they will ask you what you need. Best experience of a small business I've had in a long time. After looking around, I wasn't very optimistic of what I could get, but the guys at US Pawn were welcoming and provided a great first impression over the phone. They wanted my business and were genuine, open, and honest. When other shops were only willing to low ball me on the sale of jewelry, they actually took the time to appraise my item. Nick was personable and great as soon as I walked in, listened to my story and made a no pressure environment plus gave me a great price. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 1st time I went, there were 2 guys who were really nice and helpful. The last 2 times I was there, the blond guy was rude and condescending. He also offered me $25 bucks for an item when another shop offered me $70 for the exact same item. Because of him, I will not be going back. A pawn shop is most often a last resort so it's already an uncomfortable situation. The last thing I need is to be treated rudely from some smart a$$ who thinks customer service means to treat ppl like crap. It's too bad cuz the other two guys were really nice.
