Bought a Samsung 75 inch tv from this store and was told it was brand new and taken out of the box…read moreto display it. They told me they watched some football on it since they took it out of the box. The protective film was still on the screen and they hooked it up so I could see it working. It was very bright in the pawn shop and hard to see the screen. I bought the tv and when I got home I hooked up the tv and I could see that all the display settings were maxed out and I reset the tv to the default setting and on the bottom left of the screen there was several dark spots on the screen. I contacted Samsung and they said the dark spots on the screen were damaged led's do to settings all the picture settings to their maximum. I will never trust this pawn shop again telling me this tv was brand new. I have called them and they will not help me at all.

I took $400 as I planned and had a decent ending to a surreal episode that would have drove anyone in my shoes crazy. As I drove to the second pawnshop, I thought that maybe all pawnshops are now empty shells of what they used to be, but it turned out to be isolated to this ill-advised grEZPAWN. I now believe that the name EZPawn is less about pawning and more a way they view their customers. Those who roll over and accept their shenanigans are mere EZ Pawns. ... Not me. Never again.

Getting misrepresented metal purity twice from the same store is one thing, but being told not to return after catching it is what really says it all. I took excellent customer service for granted, back in the 70's and 80's... because it was always there. This business was established over 60 years ago, and has weathered the storm of the economies since then. Both the afore mentioned things are why they still exist. You'll find items priced competitively. Darrin assisted me with coins on my recent visit. He knows his stuff when it comes to precious metals. If you haven't bought used stuff, try this store. Especially on tools. If tools aren't being used on a daily basis then why pay new prices at the big box stores.
