Wow! We walk into the store from B&N and are immediately welcomed and asked if there is anything he can help us with. We replied we were just looking and walked down looking for PS Vita games. We were then greeted by another worker who welcomed us and asked what we were looking for. He led us right to be PS Vita section and showed us the new games and used games. Then asked if there was anything specific we were looking for. He looked it up and when he didn't have any in stock offered to buy and ship it to our home OR we could check out two other stores in the area showing that they had it!! The service here is so outstanding I **HAD** to log on and tell them and everyone. I have no clue why the other reviews are so low. But I did find out the store was recently taken over by new management so I hope that was it because the service here is really good. :) read more

This store is large. It's more warehouse style but he loved it. There are a lot of Funko pop and Pokémon and Sanrio. Games for gaming consoles. You can pre-order new releases. A sale section. And so many cute bags. Prices are average. The associate at the register was nice. We purchased some of the blind box cards he was looking for. There is a rewards program too. The store is attached to the Barnes and Noble with an entrance right into the bookstore. Cool. read more

I paid extra for a warranty at this store and got SCAMMED for my trouble. When I bought my controller, the employee sold me a protection plan by telling me I could bring the controller in and walk out with a brand new one. No mention of a time limit. No mention of any conditions. No mention that "new" actually meant "whatever used controller is sitting in the back." When I finally used it, they took my working-ish controller and handed me a used one in worse condition than what I brought in. The buttons stopped responding almost immediately after I left the store. So I paid extra money for the privilege of downgrading to a broken controller. I came back to swap it out and was told they couldn't do anything for me. They knowingly handed me defective used hardware under a plan that was sold to me as a new-for-old exchange, and then refused to stand behind it. So to recap: I was misled about what the warranty covered, misled about what I'd receive, given a broken product, and then denied any remedy on a plan I paid extra for. That's not a warranty. That's a fee for nothing. Don't buy the protection plan here. Get whatever you're told in writing, or just buy your accessories somewhere with a real return policy. read more

No. Just no. Seven of us in line. Two working on one issue for one customer. When second, who is the manager, isn't helping with the issue, he's ignoring the ever incurring line and answering the phone for stock questions. Oh, he came in and 10 min later he just left to vape some more. I get that breaks are important, but aren't we, the living, breathing customers? He never even looked up to acknowledge us. This place is a nightmare. Two people in line are now leaving after one of them said, "I just give up." Update: two more groups have given up. read more

I'm just appalled at how this child spoke to me ! I was at the store at 8:55 because the store hours say 9am on Saturdays ( 11/9/24 ) being the day I was there .. And I wait and wait because I took the bus here in the snow to be here when you opened so I could go about my day!! This kid strolls up to the door at around 10:13 AM and rudely says to me "We aren't open until 11 "" rude snarky and just unsatisfactory as a customer of this store . I said " I have been waitng since 9 AM " to which he replys " I DONT GIVE A FUCK HOW LONG you have been waiting" Then Proceeds to walk in and slam the door in my face ... I do not understand how this is acceptable for any person to treat anyone else . This is crazy read more

Schlong nose cashier is a douchebag! Was negative when I asked him about grading and in stock products. Gives off deuchy vibes.

The website and the store hours posted on the front door are wrong. Seems like they are misleading customers to believe they are open at 9AM. 4 of us waited out front. Lost our business as we drove for an hour to get here. read more

The 3rd biggest GameStop in the world and the best in Colorado. Friendly staff and big store, quick pre orders.

I shop GameStop, they always have the stores clean neat and organized. Makes it very welcoming for my family to shop. They always have the newest games for every console out. The staff has always been very knowledgeable and friendly. They know how to make it a very memorable experience for everyone. Getting my daughter and wife PRO Memberships was easy because the whole family enjoys going with me to GameStop. They have something for everyone! The savings we received from the pro membership has paid for itself and it's only the first month of a year membership. The Pokémon cards have been so much fun, thanks to GameStop. The Funko selection is unmatched. Receiving points for every purchase is another added bonus, since I can redeem my points in store to use towards in store purchases or I can redeem online. When I shop online the deliveries are shipped very fast and I've received all my items in great condition. What a great company! Thank you GameStop! read more

In direct opposition to Game Force comes Game Stop: they take the corporate feel of lifeless stores, inexperienced and rude staff, and overly expensive prices to a whole new level. Every time I am in here, I wonder around looking at the shelves sporting the newest nasty-ass sport game for $65 and silently tear up inside: video-games used to be cool damn-it. It used to be about just having some fun with friends instead of all image nastiness. (Look I don't care about how good the graphics are, if there is no game-play...then I would rather stare at a wall). One day especially sticks out: my roommate asked the manager what was new that he would suggest. He sat for a bit and told us to check out the new Mortal Combat (which played like an action rpg) game for the x-box. It was unusually cheap - $20 - for a new game. Now this fact in itself should have sent off warning signs, but, my roommate decided to listen to the dude and buy the game. In all my years of playing, I have found few shittier games then this one: it even crashed the x-box at one point. YES, YOU HEARD RIGHT. Seriously, avoid this store like the piece it is. read more

So far no problems with this GAME STOP Location. I have been back several times either with Hubs or with my friends. This recent visit was on Wednesday December 17th 2014. The staff who handled my transaction purchase that morning, his name is Nate. He answers all questions I have about those 2 Games, one was the South Park Stick Of Truth ($29.99) and Call Of Duty Advance Warfare ($39.99) All in all, I don't mind returning to this Game Stop Location since its next to one of the Book store that I like to go, and chill out with my friends. Time for the haters to update their reviews on this location! As an aging gamer, I get confused by the myriad of options available for the PS3. Fortunately, the staff here have been terrific in listening to what I like, and helping me select games that I have found to be a great fit. Give them a chance! If they were bad in the past, it is not apparent today. read more

Not entirely thrilled with my experience here. The reason why is because I paid for an Oculus Quest 2 online. I went here to pick it up. In the email I received it said to show the email and ID. The guy didn't look at the email and didn't ask for my name or ID. So anyone who may have known I was picking it up could have come in and gotten it with no proof it was me. Not a good business practice. read more

Update: Wow just came back to return and get a refund and just be done. They didn't give me back the original receipt and after clarifying more than once, found the receipt in the trash. Geez, then I'm leaving. And now this guy working starts telling her now that I'm on my way out, "The reason he's having some problems is that some PS4s etc..." I'm not stupid. I used to work for GameStop. When people return games that don't work, they just put them back in and say it should work on someone else's. Again, I'm not someone who doesn't know about games. It's my life. MY BIG POINT WITH THIS?! Why is he explaining discreetly to her? Why didn't he tell me? Or ask about the PS4? Again, horrible service, on top of BS reasons for game not working?! On two different PS4s?! I already said the other one worked fine! So unless you're a mom who doesn't know about games, or someone just buying for kids and don't know about games at all, I'm sure this place seems magical. But I'm sure they're fine with the "I'm never coming here again" but it's THIS KIND OF BS that is getting them closed all over the place. No surprise. Good luck Maybe everyone giving good reviews don't know much about games since most reviews are saying the staff is willing to answer lots of questions. This is a detriment in some cases when you have a huge line, and the line blurs between helping and talking. That's not my issue today. It did happen today, but the issue is I bought a game Monday. When I got home I see a huge line and it's dirty. Doesn't register in PS4. Cleaned it myself and then worked, barely, after multiple issues take it back to swap. The woman doesn't even take the disc out to see. I'm sure they're worried a lot of games can look like that. Left it in sleeve, on top of case, and receipt on top. Thanks! I know I have a backpack but clearly a bag is too much too. And the BIG issue is that I step off to the side awkwardly to put my belonging together now, this time I check the disc. DIRTY. Seriously what the hell?! So the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, but I don't need questions answered. I'm not buying for my kid. I'm not out of touch with this industry. I know what I want and need and this is based on the service I received. read more

Ok let me first just short and simply advise you to avoid this clusterfuck of a Gstop AT ALL COSTS! While this store is huge and their selection is much better than most the closet stores, the service set a new record for HORRIBLE. A scraggly man who called himself Goliath "helped me". I had a few questions about a ps3 game and he instead chose to berate me as if I was the dumbest customer in the planet. I literally lost my train of thought as his body odor invaded every level of my personal bubble possible. After making a quick escape from that goon, I made my selection and brought it to the check-out counter, thinking I had already experienced the worst ... fuck all was I WRONG! Goon #2 and Goon #3 stood ready to further ruin my day. I believe their name was John and Carl. Carl literally snatched the game from my hands, and John proceeded to talk my flipping ear off without even starting the transaction! Is this what hell is like?! What happened to just paying for a game and LEAVING. I watched as Carl grabbed my game, dropped my game and handed me the pre-owned game.... which it's last owner might have been a garbage disposal. The disc looked UNPLAYABLE... I handed them back said disc and with a sigh of DISGUST these two dipsticks grabbed another copy. An interrogation on pre-orders and a bath of foul body odor later ... I at last made my way out of this inner circle of hell ... and that is THE LAST time I will ever go here! Thank goodness there is a store on Yale which isn't much better but at least you can breath! read more

I am not a gamer. My daughter is and works at another Gamestop in Wyoming. She wanted to see what this store offered, compared to hers. We were immediately greeted as we walked in. The associate struck up a conversation with my daughter, and she let her know that she also worked at Gamestop. The displays were all attractively arranged and orderly. I have no idea if they have the right selection for the target audience, as I am not the target audience. But my daughter was able to find an old Pokemon game and she was happy. They even gave her an associate discount. Very nice touch. read more

I usually go to this game store because it is the closest that is not located in a mall, which I do my best to avoid. Though the selection is pretty good, I must say that the service is absolutely terrible. I've not been treated well a single time since I've been in there, even been told by an employee to "try to pay attention" when a new register opened. Nobody seems extremely knowledgeable in the gaming world, and I've on several occasions waited for them to find the discs for used games only to be informed that they can't find any (you had six copies on the rack!). I would recommend the EB Games in Cherry Creek mall (unfortunately) over this one. I always have a much better experience, even though it is quite a bit smaller. I'm almost beginning to think that the rejects from that EB are sent to the Gamestop. read more

Worked at this location and I can confirm its one of the worst in the state. Employees are constantly over worked and under paid, thus they can never operate at full capacity. Which means looooong lines every time you walk in this place. I worked here in 2004 and to this day this store is still run like a slave mill. Exactly like it was all those years ago. read more

I been here a couple times to stop by and check-out new selections for my Xbox One. People reviewing this place have some of the smallest excuses for how these employees 'ruined their lives'.....If an experience at a game store really affected your life that miserably, yikes, what kind of life are you people living??? If you are in a line for an hour an a half, leave the store, it shouldn't be worth it. After 20 mins in a line, I would've left. Jesus. If I need help buying a game, I don't go to gamestop for advice, I type buttons into a keyboard and the nerds are already waiting for me. Stop being douchebags and get over yourselves. It is a video game store, not a day spa. I just read like 5 reviews in a row of how terrible this place is, and its not bad, not terrible, you guys just need reality checks. Life is a lot harder when you don't have free time and aren't allowed to just sit on your couch and play games. Oh the first world. read more

The effects from trip two are getting to me because of the enormous amount of gaming selections, and the undying devotion of the sales team to answer all my child's gaming questions. Follow my path, and you will change appearance too. See the selfie, and if there's any life left in my body, it shall be posted. I have learned to say no, but at this point my mouth has lost all function and is numb. Breathing becomes a chore, and like every parent who wishes to bring joy to their child, and rejoice in his or her happiness, we must draw the line somewhere. And that somewhere is linked to my central nervous system, as my spinal fluid begins to leak onto the floor from emotional exhaustion. Please do not assume I have become incontinent. I came in there wanting to buy a preowned Ouya less than a week ago but they were out of stock. They offered to order it for me through their online in store, where they can order for you and have it sent to your house and you can pay for it in there with trades/cash/card but I am particular with what I buy and wanted to see the condition of the system before buying it. The associate, Keaton, then looked on his computer for the one nearest to have it sent. He called 5 stores before he found a store that would be willing to send it. He took my name/number down and promised to call me as soon as it got in. Jessica, another associate working there, called me this morning to let me know it had arrived and apologized for getting their much later than they were anticipating. I told her that it was no problem at all and appreciated them having sent all the way from California. As soon as I stepped foot into the store I was verbally greeted by 3 employees and approached by one of them, Jessica. She then asked what she could help me find and I let her know that she called me about the Ouya. Without missing a beat she handed me a flyer and said, "I have it in the back with your name on it so I'll go grab it but before I do I wanted to let you know of our current specials." Apparently they have a 50% more on game trade deal going on for the next couple of days. She ran to the back and within minutes met me at the counter where she handed the transaction off to Keaton. (The store is huge btw) He and I checked it out, I purchased it and which he asked what systems I currently own. He hooked me up with a free one year warranty on the ouya and a free $10 game in the process. Gamestop is all about deals and their associates are all about making sure we're in the know of them. This store has a huge selection, much much bigger than your normal locations, and the friendliest of staff there. Keep up the fantastic work and now to game on my OUYA!!! read more

Work wise, you're better off working for a much better higher paying job. I interviewed with them and was immediately hired on the spot. I had another job as a backbone in case things didn't work out here but need the extra money. The managers are the ONLY ones who get full time hours, game advisers and key holders barely get twenty hours. I showed extreme willingness to learn and came in when called to get more training, I had no customer complaints about me and they even came back just for me. I had to work at a different location just to cover someone where I get real hours for once but here's where it got interesting, both that store and this location took me off the schedule for some unknown reason. I immediately called both stores when I got a new phone number but they considered me to be a "no call no show" when I constantly called to see if they needed any help and told them to call me if someone was unable to work. For a whole two months they kept playing this game where I had to just quit and move on with my other job, apparently there's a lot of this going on at various locations which could explain why this company is going down the toilet. As a loyal customer it's still one of the biggest locations with a huge selection of products that never ceases to amaze you, still don't like how they rip you off on trade ins where you get more for in store credit but less for cash in hand. read more

Have had nothing but amazing experiences at this Gamestop. I chose this for my Black Thursday steals they were having and they dealt with it amazingly. Everyone was patient, no one rushed, the store manager (his name is the name of the mask in Ocarina of time that looks like Pikachu ;) handled the volume of people awesomely and they are all super helpful. I wish I could name drop. Anytime I have any questions or issues, someone has the answer and they find it. They give great advice and help across all systems and with any game type. They communicate as a team. They are a sweet machine. GameStop, count your lucky stars that you have such a rad team there. They also have a huge selection of new and used games and merchandise. Typically they run cool deals and I try to go at least once a month to get something. Also, try to grab a switch and Breath of the Wild if you like open world games or Zelda. Holy smokes. This review is long, but I have too many good things to say. Shop here, keep this flagship store huge. Shout out to all the team, you're all rock stars. -Zelda read more

Wow I'm supprised on a whole new level of rudeness! So for a store that has multiple location's you would think they would try and whoo customers to theirs right? Not at all In fact if you asking about a game they don't personally play prepare to hear their disgusted comments. I know being a video game guru can be a ruff life but a little understanding that people like different thing's is necessary. Oh but that's not all! They are not at all afraid to scoff at you and share knowing glances at each other as well! They have a nice clean store, with a great selection! Just clean up the staff and they will be right on track again! Until then I'll shop one of their other hundreds of locations. read more

Wow! I've never felt like going to a gamestore to talk politics. Apparently thats all the guys at this establishment know, because they obviously don'y know a thing about video games. Sure I can do my own research and decide on a game myself but it would be nice to have some real feedback from "just a person" rather than a nameless reviewer. Lately I've been shopping at Game Crazy stores and its a huge difference. They don't have the feel of a gaint corporation and at least with my experiences considered.
