Came here today. Not sure why they had bad reviews? It's a small store, but staff was super friendly and helpful. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will direct you on where to find it. I highly recommend checking this location out. read more

Mike (store manager) is the most unprofessional person a company could hire. Im reviewing this location for his poor service and because this is his primary location he works at. The incident that occurred was at Colfax and Wads though. Story: I submitted a card to Gamestop to grade through PSA in August 2025. I took pictures of the card while at GameStop before submission and there was no damage done. I received my grades back in November 2025 and when I say the low grade I noticed because there was a giant slash in the back of the card. GameStop told me the only resolution was to send it back to PSA. I repeatedly asked them what the point was to do that because the damage was done so what would change. But they insisted this was the only resolution so I allowed them to send it back to PSA. In March 2026 I received an email that the card was able to be picked up at GameStop. It received the same low grade. When I went in to get the card and just take the L, GameStop informed the card was "lost" and I was unable to get the card. They pulled out their manual log of receiving orders and of course my order number was blank and they lost the paper trail of where the card was. They could not find it in any box or the back. Fast forward to April 2026 and I received a call offering me $89 which included the value of the graded card and the grade. The value was severely off though considering they damaged the card and would not agree on the spot to the value of the card as if it weren't graded at all. If it had received a 10 I would have been out $100's of dollars but I was willing to let that go. I just wanted enough money so I could go buy the card and because of principle. When I declined the offer they said they would reach out with a counter offer or an update. I never received a call. I never received any email or call regarding any of these issues. Fast forward to August 2026 I start calling and going in the store to accept the original $89. I was willing to let it go. Then comes in Mike. He says there is no record of this offer and he would have to review it with his district manager. After review they claim since I did not pick up the card within 6 months that they owe me nothing and so I would not receive a payment. Couple things: it has not been 6 months since the card "arrived" back at GameStop. And the card was lost or stolen so there was never anything to ever pick up. I get annoyed and Mike gives me attitude telling me to drop it and after I continue to call this location to get more of an explanation he proceeds to call the cops on me. I have a ticket with customer support and will be following up with it this week and will be calling corporate to report this manager. Small claims is still not off the table. Would also like to add Mike made racist comments about their India customer support team when I told them what they had told me in previous months conversations with them. Also would like to add that every manager I spoke to, including Mike, says there has been manager turnover because of ongoing issues with the stores. Mike seems to be a key contributor to it as well now. Hopefully can close this situation out soon. But I would highly advise not doing business with Riverpojnt or Colfax and Wads locations. read more

Not open during the middle of the day no sign or anything explaining why. Hours on the door says they should be open.

Ordered a PlayStation online as a birthday gift that ended up not working. Called CS who told us to bring it in to a store for exchange/refund. Bryce, who is a manager was not at all friendly nor offered any type of solution to help resolve my problem. He certainly needs more training. Game Stop sold me a broken system, refused to help me, and ultimately STOLE my money. I will never buy anything from this company again and will definitely tell everyone I know to do the same. Disgusting service all the way around. DO BETTER GameStop. A 1 star review is generous read more

Game Stop app has a current trade offer of $20 less for any new or pre-order game with trade-in of select game. Super Mario Odyssey was listed. Was told by store associate Michael that just means any games on that the list is guaranteed to be at least worth $20 in trade. The fact is, all the games on that list are worth a trade-in value of $20 or more! Also, nowhere does the fine print affirm what he told me. This is either a case of false advertising or an inept store associate. The trade-for Mario at the time was $29.00. Mario was on the list of games that included the $20 less towards a new game. I was trading for a new game. Simple math would be $29 trade + $20 less the new game price = $49.00. Again, either deceptive advertising or a misinformed sales associate. Never going back to this Game Stop or probably any in the future. Planning on letting my Pro-Membership lapse. read more

Google maps says that this place opens at 11 and I have been sitting here for a hour this is ridiculous

I had never stepped foot into a GS, yet Aaron was so helpful getting my boyfriend and I set up with a Nintendo switch. He was knowledgeable and welcoming! It was clear his intentions were to get us the best price and set-up without being focused on "selling us". The atmosphere was immaculate and they have my business for sure :) read more

I went in yesterday to look for something with my 6 year old. They didn't have what we were looking for, but these guys were so helpful. We'll be back for sure. read more

I go to the river point GameStop all the time. Every staff member I have dealt with has been great. They are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I always get my questions answered. The store is pretty clean and organized so it easy to see everything they have. Great Selection on all games and collectibles. They deserve 5 stars. read more

I ordered online thinking that I was getting a new game. Received the game unsealed and with fingerprints on the disc and that ugly sticker saying "new". Please. But before all that...I called when I arrived at the store. The line was busy. Called 5 more times...line still busy. Looked in the store and no one could be seen. I knocked on the door for a few minutes and stepped away. Walked back to the door, looked inside and there was a guy at the checkout counter. I'm clearly looking in and I know he can see me. I called the number again and abracadabra! It works! He must have been using the phone line for something. Asked my name, got me the game, and walked away without a simple, "Thanks for coming!" This just shows why Game Stop is going under. Bad customer service and tricking us into buying "new" games. read more

Worst Gamestop in the city. Awkward and rude staff. They don't know anything about taking trades, when GS has a promotion currently going on for trades. read more

So unhelpful. Smells like cigarettes and desperation. When you're going to spend $300+ for a system you'd think they could answer a few questions without it feeling like such an interruption to the workers. The two guys working acted like I was a total bother to them. I was asking a few simple questions about new or refurbished and what types of accessories are necessary for a certain game. There was zero customer service. So I left and went to the Game Stop in Castle Rock. CR store was amazing! read more

Ive been in the store about 4 times this year to buy new release games. They don't stock anything new unless you ore order for some reason. I pre ordered Elden Ring and asked if they had a midnight release and they said they for sure would. The week before release i called to confirm the midnight release and they said they just decided they weren't going to do it. I could've got the digital download and played with my friends, but now i had to wait for these guys to open at 10. Im still going to play games, its just gonna be easier to do it with these guys in my way! read more

Not my home store but like coming to these out side neighboring stores! Can always find the hard to find games! Now days people don't hold on to their games like me the king horder of games! Gamestop - Yes scavenger hunt is now over!! - Toy Stores Near Me - Englewood, Colorado

Been going here for about a year now and everyone's always been super helpful. Jeff in particular has always been great help with preorders, trade ins, and general questions. Stores got a decent stock and can usually find with I'm looking for. read more

This is a decent Gamestop. It's small, as most of them are, but they have quite a few used and refurbished items that cost significantly less than they would new. Shopping the discounts is the only way to support a gaming habit anymore, so we often come in here to browse. Overall, the staff are pretty knowledgeable and do a good job of answering questions when we have them. We usually don't buy here, but it's a nice store for looking around. read more

I called on the phone and the lady hung up on us. Then I called right back and a guy picked up and answered our questions but before I could ask a second question he hung up on us. Needs better customer service over the phone. Very rude. read more

This is a good game stop. The people here are really nice and chill. Their services are great, they tend to you at the best of their ability most of the time(be aware that they are people too). I pre-order a lot from here and attend their midnight launches which tend to go really smooth but crazy at times. I recommend this place, they do a great job. read more

I swear, video gamers are some of the coolest people, always. Awesome staff. Gamestop is great, what would I do without then? Great service, they pay well for games and gadgets. Big selection, lots of rewards and coupons, never a problem with returns. I love them. read more
