Ordered a PlayStation online as a birthday gift that ended up not working. Called CS who told us to bring it in to a store for exchange/refund. Bryce, who is a manager was not at all friendly nor offered any type of solution to help resolve my problem. He certainly needs more training. Game Stop sold me a broken system, refused to help me, and ultimately STOLE my money. I will never buy anything from this company again and will definitely tell everyone I know to do the same. Game Stop app has a current trade offer of $20 less for any new or pre-order game with trade-in of select game. Super Mario Odyssey was listed. Was told by store associate Michael that just means any games on that the list is guaranteed to be at least worth $20 in trade. The fact is, all the games on that list are worth a trade-in value of $20 or more! Also, nowhere does the fine print affirm what he told me. This is either a case of false advertising or an inept store associate. The trade-for Mario at the time was $29.00. Mario was on the list of games that included the $20 less towards a new game. I was trading for a new game. Simple math would be $29 trade + $20 less the new game price = $49.00. Again, either deceptive advertising or a misinformed sales associate. Never going back to this Game Stop or probably any in the future. Planning on letting my Pro-Membership lapse. read more

I go to the river point GameStop all the time. Every staff member I have dealt with has been great. They are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I always get my questions answered. The store is pretty clean and organized so it easy to see everything they have. Great Selection on all games and collectibles. They deserve 5 stars. read more

I ordered online thinking that I was getting a new game. Received the game unsealed and with fingerprints on the disc and that ugly sticker saying "new". Please. But before all that...I called when I arrived at the store. The line was busy. Called 5 more times...line still busy. Looked in the store and no one could be seen. I knocked on the door for a few minutes and stepped away. Walked back to the door, looked inside and there was a guy at the checkout counter. I'm clearly looking in and I know he can see me. I called the number again and abracadabra! It works! He must have been using the phone line for something. Asked my name, got me the game, and walked away without a simple, "Thanks for coming!" So unhelpful. Smells like cigarettes and desperation. When you're going to spend $300+ for a system you'd think they could answer a few questions without it feeling like such an interruption to the workers. Ive been in the store about 4 times this year to buy new release games. They don't stock anything new unless you ore order for some reason. I pre ordered Elden Ring and asked if they had a midnight release and they said they for sure would. The week before release i called to confirm the midnight release and they said they just decided they weren't going to do it. I could've got the digital download and played with my friends, but now i had to wait for these guys to open at 10. This is a decent Gamestop. It's small, as most of them are, but they have quite a few used and refurbished items that cost significantly less than they would new. Shopping the discounts is the only way to support a gaming habit anymore, so we often come in here to browse. Overall, the staff are pretty knowledgeable and do a good job of answering questions when we have them. We usually don't buy here, but it's a nice store for looking around. read more

This is a good game stop. The people here are really nice and chill. Their services are great, they tend to you at the best of their ability most of the time(be aware that they are people too). I pre-order a lot from here and attend their midnight launches which tend to go really smooth but crazy at times. I recommend this place, they do a great job. read more
