The game collection is outstanding; there's lots of retro games and consoles, and also new games and accessories for the lowest prices around. This place is the best. Honestly, get your video game stuff from here. It's amazing.

As someone who both collects sealed product seriously and also buys casually across retro and…read moremodern collectibles, I had a frustrating experience here that ultimately comes down to consistency in how products are treated. GameForce clearly understands the collectible market when it comes to retro video games. Pricing reflects condition, rarity, and demand in a way that aligns with how secondary markets function, and I don't have an issue with that. That approach makes sense for collectible inventory. However, the handling of Pokémon products feels fundamentally inconsistent with that same logic. In my experience, factory shrink wrap is removed prior to sale. While the contents inside may still be untouched, sealed condition is a major factor in both collector value and authenticity for these types of products. From a collector standpoint, sealed packaging is not just packaging--it is part of the product's condition and long-term value. Once that seal is removed, the item is no longer in a verifiable factory-sealed state, which changes how it is viewed in the secondary market. What makes this more noticeable is the contrast: the store clearly participates in condition-based pricing and scarcity-driven value in one category, while actively altering condition in another. Even if the intention is to discourage scalping or bulk buying, the effect is still a reduction in collectible integrity from a collector's perspective.

Docs is amazing and patient…read more He helped me figure out how a Fourscore for the Nintendo would work and helped me figure out what the weird bootleg NES I had was. He made sure I knew to use a different plug than what came with it. I then asked what the "Nintendo Family Computer" was behind him. He then showed me an original famicom Nintendo Family Computer and explained how it's the upgraded version of (that) He then showed me the top loader American Nintendo that came out around the same time, looked similar. He then told me those need a different plug than they come with and that Japanese plugs work in American outlets, but they are higher voltage so can damage the Famicom (either one) Then he sold me two plugs because I needed them, for the future AV famicom. I would have bought the one he had but a customer was coming back for it from the bank. I don't have the pictures I took because I couldn't get help with my (potentially) bricked phone, because the Xfinity store I went to threw me out after berating their own employee who apparently had diabetes and said "don't help this guy, he has autism" because of my Autism Awareness Captain Crunch whistle. I am glad there are helpful stores like Doc's where they respect people.

Every time I tried to purchase the game it charged my credit card and gift card and didn't send the game. Then I contact customer service and am instructed to wait 24 hours to attempt to purchase again. Now it's been 7 days of trying this DAILY and it's still happening and now they tell me you can't make digital purchase online. After a week of this!!! Now I go in to this store again and the original game I wanted is right there in digital and they never told me. So I go to purchase it using my pro card.. and guess what!? The system is down so they can't and refuse to give me my discount!! A game store that refuses to sell you a game!!!!! The incompetence of GameStop and its employees is absolutely mind boggling. I can't wait to finally use this gift card and never return.

Right when I walked in the door, I was greeted by a very friendly man who invited me to hang out and play games. I was super impressed by their used selection. They even had game boy, SNES & N64 games for the old school game nerd like myself. They allow you to try games before you buy them. There were two Tetris games for gameboy that I had never seen before! They let me try both of them, which worked out great because I decided they weren't as good as the original and passed on purchasing them. I did however manage to score Trivial Pursuit for my PS2. My boyfriend and I actually spent all last night playing it. Fun! The whole time I was there, both of the guys behind the counter were friendly, talkative and eager to please. Both also invited me back to hang out anytime and just play games with them. There were also a few small children that came in the store while I was there. They were also welcomed and invited to play games as well. Such a friendly atmosphere! Such a great selection! Such a great store! If your a gamer in the neighborhood, check this place out!
