In October 2024, my husband and I purchased a LG Top Load Washer at Appliance Factory located in Aurora at 1096 S. Sable Blvd...In May 2025, ever so often, the washer would display a couple errors....IE (Inlet Error) or OE (Outlet Error)....no matter what cycle the washer was running on....the errors wouldn't happen every time the washer was used....we looked up both errors in the User Manual and we did what the User Manual suggested to remedy this error issue, although some of the suggestions were difficult for us to understand....but still, the washer continued to display these errors at times.... On June 10, we decided to go to Appliance Factory where we purchased the washer...we talked to the Manager, Jonathan Cervantes and explained to him the errors the washer was displaying....he was so so helpful, knowledgeable, and oh my gosh, so customer oriented....so kind and patient he was while we explained the error issues to him....he asked us if we had checked the User Manual in order to fix the errors...we said yes that we had checked what the User Manual suggested, but we were confused on some of the things and what they meant....he immediately took us over to the showroom floor to clarify the exact LG Washer we were having these error issues with....we asked him a few questions regarding the error issues and Jonathan showed us some things on the washer regarding the questions we were asking him, as to what could be causing these errors to occur....then, Jonathan went on-line to the User Manual and read to us about the error issues, all the while explaining to us what the User Manual suggested to correct these two errors on our washer...he explained each of the two errors our washer was displaying and answered all of our questions without hesitation, which made us feel so comfortable in asking him any and all questions we had....he explained to us how to possibly resolve the errors ourselves before scheduling a Service Call....he also showed us how to start a Service Request on-line and gave us the LG Service phone number if we preferred to call for service rather than schedule on-line; as well as how to set up an LG account before starting a Service Request on-line... When my husband and I got home, we checked the washer for the things Jonathan suggested we check....it has been almost a month since then and our washer is working perfectly....we have not had a single IE or OE error since we met with Jonathan on June 10... We feel so fortunate to have such an outstanding Manager help us...from the time we entered Appliance Factory, he immediately was so willing to help us...such a great experience we had with Jonathan Cervantes from beginning to end....he was so helpful and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the help he had given us....giving us lots of opportunities to ask him questions so that we would better be able to understand the information and suggestions he had given us...He assured my husband and I that he was there for us if we had any more issues with our washer.... We absolutely "love" Appliance Factory in Aurora, as we purchase all of our appliances from here.....Employees such as Jonathan Cervantes, especially being a Manager, truly keep customers like us coming back to their store time and time again... and we refer our family and friends to their store also...we are so grateful and appreciative to Jonathan...he truly went "above and beyond" for us...We are in our 70's and we definitely know that in the world we live in today, it is very rare that a store has such wonderful employees like Jonathan, and even rarer that a store has such a wonderful Manager like Jonathan, for he truly cares about his customers and wants to please his customers and give them an "Awesome" beginning to end experience at Appliance Factory....that aspect truly makes him "Special"... he truly makes us feel "important" and like we really "matter" to him as his customers....Jonathan Cervantes truly deserves outstanding recognition not only from Appliance Factory but also from every single customer he helps, (customers like us) for he is truly "Awesome".......Appliance Factory is so so "fortunate" to have Jonathan Cervantes as an employee and Store Manager... WARNING!!!!!!!!!! Don't shop here. We paid to have a new refrigerator delivered, installed and the old refrigerator hauled away. The said they'd call us the night before deliver to tell us a time they'd be there. They lied. No call for us! They managed to deliver the fridge. Installation? Nope! Beyond them. We installed the fridge. Take away? It's been 3 weeks. They can't use a phone to tell us when they're coming. If they are too stupid to use a phone, how in the hell can they install and appliance? I so wish I'd read the reviews before shopping there. read more

On 10/6/2023 I purchased a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. The delivery for the refrigerator and stove were for 10/11/2023. The sales went well and the sales people were nice and helped with everything we needed. Unfortunately, the delivery portion of the transaction turned into a nightmare. Two delivery men showed up and they were supposed to remove the old refrigerator (which I told the sales people was wedged into a tight area and thought they would relay that to the delivery/removal people, but that did not happen). The two young men just stared at the refrigerator and one called their supervisor, who advised them not to remove it. So I ended up having to call someone else to come over the next day and remove it, install the new refrigerator (that was sitting by the front door by the way), and he pulled it out smoothly with no problem and carried it out with the help of his assistant within 10 minutes. I was totally given the run around by the delivery people at first because I was told I would receive a call within two hours on Friday for some other movers to come out and remove the refrigerator, and I've still received no call, but of course I called Appliance Factory and advised them of the situation. They seemed upset and said they would get on it and get some people out, but that never happened either. Now let's get to the stove...when the same delivery men installed the stove, they checked that the burners all worked, but one of the knobs was very loose and they could not turn off the burner. They obviously did not care because they left and I had to call that in also. I was told by Appliance Factory that it was a hazard (duh) and they would have someone call me and get out there by the next day (haven't received a call or visit yet). I called the manufacturer and they stated that they could not come out for a week, and also that they would have to charge me $90 some odd dollars if THEY decided it was MY fault or the installers, Seriously!!! Never did anyone say, "Okay, we sold you a defective product and we will bring out a new one." The damn burner is still on because the knob won't work, but they told me to just unplug it or turn the power off to that part of my kitchen. What is the point of buying appliances that you can't use??? I am still waiting for the microwave and whatever drama comes with that, but I will never use Appliance Factory again. WARNING Women! They seem to take advantage of women. They put so many fees on my girls bill and pressured her into a washer she didn't want. Poor customer service. I've been waiting for my washer for Two days and Mike Feldman the GM told me they would have the washer brought from the warehouse to pick up at the store location the next day. They called me the next day to tell me there was a glitch in the system and it would not show up for a few more days. Then I get to the location and they give me another excuse they only have one truck and it broke down. What kind of company is this. read more

I used to think this was a good store that cares about their customers after buying a Samsung refrigerator and a freezer plus some other smaller purchases I will never buy anything from them again. I bought a very high-end Samsung refrigerator from them 2 years ago that was supposed to be an open box with a very small scratch on the door and there was no mention of it being refurbished. I also purchased the 4 years extended warranty and now I have a $3,000 piece of scrap metal. The repair guy was here for the 3rd time today (been going without a working refrigerator for 3 months now) after 1.5 hours told me that it couldn't be repaired and to call Samsung because the part that was bad was covered by their warranty still. I called and was told there was no warranty because it was a refurbished refrigerator. Appliance Factory isn't willing to help me either and Brand Source who furnished the extended warranty doesn't want to do anything so far so I think the only way I can get any recourse is with a lawyer. I needed to find out if something I bought a few years back at another location was under warranty because it kinda stopped working today. Bob was happy to look up my records and print me out a new invoice copy that had all the information I would need to get the services I needed. There was another couple when I arrived to pick up the copy but he acknowledged me and asked for a moment. He went over everything again, made sure to point out the number I needed to call and I was on my way. I can't give them a bad or stellar review as it was just a quick visit. I have always been able to find a decent deal from this chain of stores and one that saved me 1500 on a fridge cause it had a few dings on the outside which my cabinets have hidden and a small dimple on the front which honestly.. This store was terrible -- we bought a washer and dryer set from them and a fridge. After scheduling our delivery date, they did not communicate with us that they were not coming that delivery date. On top of that, when we rescheduled, they "forgot" to bring an item so we had to schedule another time for them to come by. They ended up not coming during the allotted time and did not communicate with us that they weren't coming. When we called to see where they were past their allotted time that they called us about, they said they were running late and then they conveniently said they left it in their warehouse. The pricing is not even that cheap, shipping and carry away fees are terrible. If you are choosing between here and another big brand store such as Best Buy or another, just choose the big brand. At least you will get the customer service that you deserve and they will not flake on you like this freaking store. I am so annoyed and pissed that a store like this would forget multiple weeks in a row and not communicate with their customers. Do not ever come here to purchase an item. read more

Don't do it! Bought a dented washer and dryer. Dryer worked for 3 months and then after 4 people came to try and repair it is still broke. We are going on a year now with a dryer that has worked half the year. Very annoying. I'm all about recycling and reusing things but when you are sold an item that has internal damage and the company won't replace it that is unacceptable. Ted at the store is very helpful. They deliver quality appliances at low prices to your house in under a week. Home Depot or Lowes mind you can take almost a month. Also the units you buy here are cheaper than Home Depot or Lowes. Got a Samsung Washer and dryer ordered after cancelling an order with Home Depot I was waiting a month for. I went in to buy a new fridge. Ours had a ice maker that was no longer working. We picked one out that we liked and that would fit in the space we have for a fridge and agreed on a delivery day. They can't give you a time, they call you the day before delivery to give you that. That's my first complaint. I really wish they could give you a time when you buy your appliance so you aren't stuck planning your day last minute when they call with a time. We got a great deal on an out of box fridge and everything seemed to be great. Day of delivery comes and someone transposed numbers, or something, I don't know, but they brought the wrong fridge. Instead of being able to correct it that day, I now have to take another day off work so that they can deliver it then. They can't seem to make it work where the guys come back out to correct a mistake on their end on the same day. I'm annoyed at this point. They decide that they're going to give me free delivery (+$70) plus I still have the rebate to turn in (+$30) so I think I'll survive. Second time around they still have to wrong fridge, but in all the right ways. It is a nicer, upgraded fridge than the one we ordered. They get it installed. We end up paying for the water line to get hooked up because ours was leaking and there was no way we were fixing it ourselves. Neither of us are that versed in water lines. They took the old one away and we were done. The fridge works great. There are some minor dings and such that come with an out of box purchase, but nothing we can't deal with! read more

He worked with us to get the delivery date that we absolutely had to have. He also made sure that he coordinated between us and the service facility. Don't buy anything from here. If I could, I'd give this place a 0. I bought an oven, microwave, fridge, and over the range microwave 2 1/2 years ago. The dishwasher went out first, 2 years and 1 month in. The warranty expired at 2 years. That's convenient. Now the microwave doesn't heat up at all. 2 years and 3 months in. Looked online it says if it doesn't heat it up at all, don't bother fixing it. Buy a new one. So now here we go to purchase a microwave that lasted a little over years. Their items are shit there. The store salesman, Iman (spelling) was very polite and eager to assist us to find the best possible deal. After we had made the decision and purchased our appliances, we left the store awaiting the delivery day. The very next day the salesman, called us to inform us that there had been a (billing, sales tax) mistake and we were over charged. He immediately credited our account and emailed the receipt to us. We were incorrectly overcharged and we still thought that was a great deal, then received a call to tell us about their error and received immediate credit, that is definitely great customer service in my book! I'm happy to say when I need other appliances I will definitely make Appliance Factory in Aurora my first stop. I was a little upset that they didn't accept American Express, but I've found that there are more and more places who don't. read more

Called Appliance Factory and spoke with Carissa - she was awesome, and let me know they had the set I was looking for. After going through the BBB, management finally offered to replace our fridge. Unfortunately, what they verbally told us about the warranty is false. The extended warranty that they say will replace your fridge, actually has an 'or refund with store credit, whichever is cheaper'. And the customer has to pay the difference of any replacement, plus delivery. Lesson learned. Don't purchase a refurbished or floor model fridge, or warranty. One of my worst purchasing experiences ever. Called 2 weeks ahead to reserve the washer and dryer we wanted. They sent me an invoice and told me they would reserve it for me. Upon arrive they didn't reserve it and the model was no longer available. We had to change the model for a lower model. Delivery went smooth but after running just one wash the washer was leaking all over the floor. Called back and spoke with Matt who assured me he would contact their repair service. 3 day later I called again and again was assured he would have them call me back same day. Called again the next day and finally received a call back. The repair guys came out as scheduled and determined that the washer had a cracked main drum and torn boot. Called Matt back and demanded a quick fix or swap. Here we are 4 days later and still no washer. I called the Office of the President and left a message... 1 week later I still have not received a call back. 2 weeks without a washer I already paid for. Horrible customer service. Do not buy or deal with this company. They promise great service but are slow. The only thing to Matt's credit was he did continue to answer the phone and take my complaints. read more

Do NOT every buy an extended warranty through this company. I went without a working refrigerator for 2 months last summer with a one year old product. When the extended warranty company decided to replace the unit after the FOURTH repair in two years, I had to pay another $300 in sales tax and they voided the last two years of the warranty. We are building a house and started looking at appliances back in January, 8 months ago. In May Kitchenmaid re-vamped their models and Bob emailed me the catalog of Kitchenmaid appliances with the conversion equivalents to the new models, it was very helpful. Bob additionally emailed me when they received the new floor models in so we could look at them. Yesterday, we finally have a confirmed closing date on our house, because Bob has been so incredible, we drove from Westminster to Aurora to purchase everything we had decided on. Paid over $10K for a suite of 5 kitchen appliances which were installed 10.29.15. The $3K Kitchen Aid double wall oven control panel and power board died 12.15.2015. Have called parent corp., Maytag, and Appliance Factory every day since then. Have been polite and patient. No solution in sight. No replacement oven offered. Now it's 3 days before Christmas. Can't bake. Have to go to Plan B+C to figure out Christmas brunch and Christmas dinner for family. Not a happy camper in Denver at all. read more
