Just got my new big screen here and the saleman Dave was great! Gave me his undivided attention and made sure I had everything I needed!

I give a 1 star due to the people who employ at Best Buy...they get a star for job well done. Howevever the customer service policies in store and mail at minus 4 stars. Been a customer 20 some years, all purchases with a bank card. However tried to return something one week past the two week time and all they would do is store credit. Then, CS on the phone said no problem she would send me a return lable to the warehouse it would be in my email within 24. Got the email with a sorry note...cannot send a return label. You kidding me! Not even customer service understands policy. Or are they encourage to say what you want to hear. Will not buy at BestBuy again read more

We came in yesterday and talked to Juan about buying a laptop and printer. Gave us a ton of information about different laptops and their capabilities. My husband went home and talked about it and returned today, (mind you we live in Clackamas and drove back to Gresham JUST to have Juan help us again) and bought a new laptop, printer, flash drive and a DVD player for an amazing price. Even signed us up for the Best Buy credit card. He was super informative and really knows his stuff. If you EVER need or want computer advice, go to Juan. He is amazing!!!!!! We purchased a tv, blue-ray player, freezer, and a washer & dryer from the Best buy in Gresham, OR. No prob w/everything but the dryer. First it was delivery issues, it only had to go less than a mile down the road to our apartment, but wound up on a broke down truck in WA. state is what we were told. When it finally showed up it had more scratches and dents on it than when we bought it (floor model) and had no feet and could not be installed. The store manager Todd Austin refused to help us, there customer service is a joke, (they don't get back to you). And so we had to go to an appliance part store, buy some feet for our new dryer and install it our selves. We are both mentally & physically handicapped, on Social Security, and we had to do Best buy's job for them. Please do yourselves a huge favor and don't do business with this company, as we don't want to hear about any more disappointed customers. The only reason I'm posting this is because this is the 2nd time this has happened to me at this location. This location pretty much has a captured audience. Very little competition unless you want to wade through the rascals at wal*mart to get to the electronics. Anyway... first time: I took the time to do the research of what tablet I wanted. I pretty much thought I wanted Samsung. So, I go to this location to get my hands on it but knew in the back of my head that I was going to go home with one. I get there and the Samsung gentleman did his song and dance, and after 10 minutes I clapped and told him I'll take it... wrap it up. "What color" he asks. I'd already thought this out... white one. So he goes over to his little laptop and comes back with disappointing news... they don't have white. Great, well I'm kind of amped up now... so, give me what you have. I'll need a cover... where do you keep them? Nowhere... they don't have them for the 2014 edition yet. Come back next week. Yeah... not. I'm going to use this very tablet to buy what I want on Amazon at half the price. Bye. Second time... today: I want a laptop now... because I'm sick in the head I guess. So, I do all the research and have it down to 2 choices... and omg... this location has them both in stock according to their website. Going there after work. I get there and surprisingly... I was totally ignored while kicking the tires of the first model (really?). Took 10 minutes and full eye contact before a unhelpful young man came to my aid. I say... "what can you tell me about this one?" He replies, "what do you want me to tell you about it?" I see where this is going... be a smartass and try to make me sound stupid. Go f*ck yourself over-achiever. OK, so I can't find the Samsung model I wanted to look at and Mr. Level 49 Wizard boy reminded me that Samsung has its own little area. He took me there and the Samsung was like $300 more than the first one I looked at... but I'm a Samsung guy and it was pretty sexy... so... screw it... wrap it up. You can guess where this is going... they didn't have one. Sell me the floor model. They can't do that. In fact, this model has been discontinued and they won't be getting anymore. So, why even have it on the floor? Why even show it to anyone? Why even have a price tag on it? You know, these are big purchases. A person goes through a lot of emotions when getting ready to pull the trigger on dropping more than a grand on something that will only be cutting edge for a nanosecond. We don't want to come back in a week. And if I had, I would have found out the new version of what I wanted was $400 more than what I was looking at right now! That's called a triple screw... didn't get what I wanted, had to wait, then had to fork out more money! What a positive memory. Guess what Best Buy? That's no better service than going online and buying ANYwhere else. Let's see, I can get what I want and I'd rather get no service than crappy service... and waiting is no factor (in fact I could probably get free shipping)... oh... and... I CAN GET WHAT I WANT! And not what you want me to settle for. Remember these places...? Circuit City, Incredible Universe? I hope Best Buy doesn't offer their employees stock options. Well that's my rant. However, I have one more thing to say: Goodbye Best Buy. Goodbye forever. Happened more then 5 times. Don't get greeted, and no help. Its so sickening but we go in there and ask for help, and stand there for a good 15-20 mins and see employees walking around doing NOTHING and glance away from us, cascade station Best Buy is by far THE BEST. read more

I'm completely dissatisfied with best buy today. I thought getting their black tie protection would be a good idea for my iPhone, but they proved me wrong today. I wanted to get a new phone because some software was acting up and they told me that my phone was on back order and the only way to get a new one was to send my phone in that works fine and get a loaner phone from them. The loaner phone was not an iPhone and I would not have access to my phone again after sending it out. On top of that they couldn't tell me how long it would take to get my new phone so I would be stuck with theirs for however long it took. They tried to tell me there are apps to download to help make it like an iPhone. Sorry I'm not an android user. This is the worst idea ever to invest in! I don't recommend it at all!!! read more

This Best Buy location is a joke, don't even waste your time. They sold me broken merchandise and then explained how it was "geek squad certified" and couldn't have possibly left the store in such condition. I ordered a kegerator for my Husband for Christmas. The first one came to our house on 12/23. He opened the box and the corner of the unit was crushed. They would not pick it up for the return so he had to lug it into the store, they could no longer do the 2 day shipping so he had to wait for regular delivery. It was supposed to come on Monday the 4th, I understand the delay due to inclement weather but it didn't make it to our house until 7:30pm yesterday and the unit was damaged in three areas. Again he had to lug it back to the store and the couldn't offer 2 day shipping or even allow us to have the unit shipped to their store so if it was again damaged we wouldn't have to load it back up and take it to them. Talk about poor service and a crappy experience. We told them to forget it and will look elsewhere. My Husband was so looking forward to the gift, we are both very disappointed. read more

He even accepted a phone call from my boss to insure it would accommodate my office/home needs. And! It wasn't even his normal department. worst customer service ever!! I ordered a laptop online, and my order was confirmed. my bfs Card was charged- he got it for me for christmas. they sent me a text saying will be ready for pick up in 1 hr and i printed the reciept to bring in with me. Then i get a call from some number +116122912220 and she barely speaks english asking me for all my credit card info again to process my order. I said " Um.... NO!!!!!!" and hung up on her. then i tried calling the number back, and it;s a busy signal, still after four hours a busy signal. then i get a text from best buy saying my order for $ 0.00 was canceled. WELL, they charged my bf's card almost $300 for MY order so??? So i try calling... 6 times, no person, just automated every time. Then i call the toll free best buy number and he can't see my order in my acct online so i TELL him the sku number of the item, and he says he needs to speak with my bf, ( who's card was used) So he gets on the phone, repeats ALL his info AGAIn, then the guy says ok thanks. well hes still on the phone and i say "hello oh is that all u need? is my order submitted again?" he puts me on hold for 4 mins and then tells me I need to come to the store and buy my item. REALLY?! i just wasted 5 hours today trying to order it online to pick up in store and u tell me this?! I WILL NOT BE BUYING THIS OR ANYTHING ELSE FROM BEST BUY EVER AGAIN!!!! I've spent a lot of money there in the past and NO MORE! I would not recommend this store to anyone! I'd rather pay a little more and get good service anyday!!!! read more

Just to let everyone know, the PlayStation4 (not sure about the others Play stations ) is a huge fire hazard. We purchased one and it nearly started a fire. It stands alone in our home and it melted by itself. We talked to PlayStation and they refuse to tell us why but they did say this happens and there is a malfunction in their product and customers should KNOW to look online for one particular article that talks about them melting etc. We purchased ours at Best Buy who is not at fault but I'm going on every forum I can to help bring awareness to this issue. The single worst experience in returns and repairs I have ever seen. Terrible experience even when I purchased their "black tie" service contract. Their service contract was a complete waste of money, lost track of my camera for 2 weeks (still haven't gotten it back although they have said that they have found it) and turned a 2 week repair into over a month at this point. Absolutely will be buying from Amazon, Fry's, or a local retailer from here on out. read more

I have been shopping at Best Buy since 1999 or 2000 I think? Despite their high prices I requested a stereo install kit for a Ford Ranger. Ford Rangers are pickups. After waiting half an hour, the salesman gave me an install kit for a Ford Mustang and basically any other sedan and coupe cars but not a pickup. Trusting Best Buy, I threw my receipt away and due to working two full time jobs, I didn't have time to look at my kit until over a month a half later and then realized it would not fit in my Ranger at all. Despite having all pieces of the kit, I was denied a refund or even an exchange for the exact same product but one that would work for my car. Seriously? 15 day return policy and 60 days for their junk rewards membership I didn't sign up for? The employees were nice to me but the company policy will make me never buy from Best Buy again and I will never recommend them to family or friend. Can't wait until they go out of business next year. read more
