I rteached out via Yelp's request for services because I had a dead laptop that wouldn't stay powered up for more than a minute and got a reply within a couple of hours. He asked a few questions on model and serial number. Once I explained the symptoms (battery may or may not always charge, etc.) he suggested I do a hardware reset (hold the reset button for 65 seconds using a straightened paper clip). This fixed the issue. He saved me from unnecessarily spending money on a repair I didn't need. You don't see this kind of honesty too often! read more

Unfortunately windows and manufactures settings meant I was toast. Henry took my computer hoping to recover my data, didn't succeed, but got my machine up and running without the bloatware and updated settings to hopefully prevent this issue from ever happening again. We had used Computer Chips several years ago with an excellent outcome and recently called Henry again when our wi-fi began misbehaving. He arrived right on time, and is professional and personable. He did a very thorough job re-configuring our wi-fi, simplified things, got rid of some extraneous cables that we thought were necessary but weren't, and fixed things so we could return the Ziply modem we were using and recommended just using a Netgear one. This is saving us $15/month going forward since we no longer need to rent the Ziply one. I strongly recommend calling Henry at Computer Chimps for any computer issues you might have. read more

Despite being backlogged, Henry returned my call, found a refurbished touchpad to replace the one that no longer worked on my old HP laptop, and then recommended against replacing it because something else could be causing the malfunction. Henry gave me a quote on both my computer one i was upgrading the ddr5 to 64 gigs, and to set up my wife new window computer 11 laptop.
