If they tell you a price, take it from someone who once managed the IT that enabled the management of ten figures of people's money: Pay what they ask and feel good about it. If you want to buy a new machine, pay what they ask. You will get fair value. I liked everything about them. Is it too bad they got out of the retail location? Sure, but these are the times. Told David my problem, he said he could install a new SSD and that would make it much faster and also clean out the fans and that would help with the loudness. Dropped my laptop off around noon and at 6 PM got a call it was complete! Picked it up the next day and wow, it's like a brand new computer! I don't use my computer for much... MS Office programs, internet, etc... but it boots up so fast now and all programs run optimally. Also, they have a lockbox and no contact servicing right now.
