    Worst customer service experience ever! Bought a stove online on their website but got delivered…read morelate. It got shipped from the Mfr. directly which is Koolmore. Found out it was the wrong size and that it didn't fit. Since I bought it on their website, I guess it's purchased though their marketplace portion according to Best Buy. Since it said contact the mfr. directly with any issues I did. They told me to return it to any Best Buy if I wanted to avoid the high return shipping cost. I asked them again to make sure I could return it to any Best Buy without any issues. They confirmed and said yes, they would take care of the return and ship it back to them. I double checked on the Best Buy website if Marketplace items were returnable to the store and it states that you can up to 15 days from the purchase date! I rented a box truck, and it took 4 people just to get the stove in the box truck. I drove over to this location and the guys there were even nice to help me get it out of the truck again and bring it inside. Then I went to the return desk, and the guy tried to process the return. He said I'm sorry this item is coming up as non- returnable! I told him that Koolmore told me to return it at any Best Buy so that's what I did and that I can show him the communication from them. A "manager" came over who I forgot the name from but she's a darker skin lady with dreadlocks. She told me that the item was purchased through their online Marketplace and that it can't be returned at the store! I told her that Koolmore told me to return it to any Best Buy. She didn't care a thing about what I had to say nor wanted to listen to me saying that Koolmore told me this and that I purchased it on their website. She tells me the Marketplace part has nothing to do with the store and she can't do anything. She asked me where do I want the stove? We're going to bring it outside. Then I got even more upset and told her you're not putting this stove on the street for anyone to get it! She didn't care and started bringing it out and putting it outside on the street. I told her I am not leaving and taking this stove back home after all I went through. She could care less and showed no empathy what's however! I felt belittled and put down like a piece of garbage with them tossing my new stove on the street! I asked her to talk to a manager. She says I am the manager. Well then, another manager, general manager or owner. She told me to just call the corporate number with a nasty smile on her face like she was enjoying it! She never showed no empathy what's however nor showed any compassion at all. I told her I am not leaving until I talk to someone higher up with now a louder voice, because I was pretty upset by then. She then tells me I am being trespassed and if I don't leave, she was going to call the cops! I told her don't worry I will call the cops and I did! A cop came and talked to her inside. He was very nice but said he's sorry but can't do anything. I kinda already had a feeling that was going to be the case. But that the store was officially tress passing me and he gave me a yellow slip. I've never been treated like this in my life! After purchasing a product on their website and they won't return it even though it states that they do on the website. That dark skin manager needs to be spoken to and get some customer service training! I bought 2 stoves now on their website since I had already ordered the smaller size and a $4500 refrigerator as well and this is how you get treated there. I am not leaving it with this and will pursue this even higher up until I receive an apology from this so called "manager" and get my money back for the stove. They also damaged the box that it came in now plus I paid almost $100 for the box truck which I had rented for only an hour but turned out taking almost 4 because of it and lost that money as well, because I didn't get anywhere with it and had to take it back. The I had the cop ask them if I could at least use their dolly to get the stove back in the truck which she refused. So, I was just stuck on the street waiting for friends to come over and help me get the stove back on the truck! Do not buy any large items here and I hope you never have to deal with this so called "manager"!

Fortunately, I decided to venture down a search into the more local small businesses and came upon this cool old school & quirky shop. I think the gentleman's name was Jim. Older dude that could pass as your nerdy techy friend who's probably collected every tech gadget since the original Tron came out. Told him what I was looking for but I gradually got discouraged as all he was showing me were the bigger style bigger sound units that are common for home systems. But, alas! With a little patience we revealed a new treasure: smaller desk top speakers! Minor speaker mesh stains on the front but super decent with a little TLC. He was super friendly and chill, even making an effort to find parts that could potentially be missing from this set (like compatible power cord). It also came with an amp box that I've got sitting below my desk table, which was a nice surprise (I keep it plugged in for the deeper sounds or just unplugged for more "regular(?)" crispy audio). All that for a really awesome deal; I think it was something like $15-30 or something crazy like that. Good shit, dude! Thank you. If you're looking for small speakers, I probably snagged the last set but I definitely recommend this place for any help with acheiving 2 things at once: reusing/upcycling any sort of old working electronics and supporting a damn good local friendly small business.

They listened as I described how the Best Buy team allowed ME to make decisions of the wiring of the devices. To be placed in a live line? Unbeknownst to me. A constant power drain. I can only a tribute to their hateful nature. So I'm having problems. Long story short. I cannot live like this. By this time Alec (the technician) is in on the meeting. I admittedly that the installer at Best Buy team followed my uneducated answers based on the technicians suggestion. Alec suggested we take a look at the car, after a few minutes they spoke and quoted a cost that I could live with. And the appointment was set. What was most interesting was that the price quoted was the price paid. Thus far I'm pleased with the tear down and replacement of the wires involved. I have intentions of having more work done the lights in the wheelwells that act as blinkers and brake lights as well as the center rear brake light turn signals, which are common on Subarus. That's my next move and I'll be making my appointment with the fantastic team at Stereo King.

My frustration is that when he left, my bathroom, and even outside the bathroom, into my bedroom, there was a thick layer of sawdust everywhere. On clothing, on my AVAPS machine, the vanity, etc. I have asthma so all that saw dust was a major annoyance for me. He should have covered exposed surfaces when he was drilling and closed the door to keep the dust in the bathroom, and then cleaned up after himself, but he did neither. I feel the lack of courtesy to protect the area where he worked and the attached bedroom is a lack of professionalism. I wouldn't have them back.

It was not purchased at Van Dyke Appliances, however, after it broke down, I called Bosch to inquire about repair since it was still under warranty. Bosch provided me with a list of companies that could repair my dishwasher, and I called Van Dyke Appliances since it was one of the closest options. I was greeted by a pleasant person and they apologized that it would take some time for them to get out to repair my dishwasher. It was Dec. 8th when I called and they had an appointment available for Dec. 30th. I told them no problem, and went ahead with scheduling the appointment. Dec. 30th comes and no one shows up to fix my dishwasher. I call Van Dyke Appliances, and I am greeted by Becky who goes on to tell me: 1) There is no appointment scheduled for me. 2) They do not repair in my area. 3) They do not repair dishwashers that were not purchased at Van Dyke Appliance. 4) I must have called a different store. After this very confusing interaction, I give her the benefit of the doubt, and I end the call. Still confused, I review the call logs on my cell phone. On Dec. 8th, I only have two phone calls made: 1) Directly to Bosch where I got the list of repair companies in my area. 2) Directly to Van Dyke Appliance where I scheduled my appointment for Dec. 30th. I then call Becky back, because I now have the proof I need to be certain that my appointment was scheduled through Van Dyke Appliances on Dec. 8th. I am greeted with a very hostile Becky this time, who assures me that Van Dyke Appliances does not make mistakes because they have been in business for over 40 years, and accuses me of lying about scheduling the appointment. I inform her that I only called one repair shop and I have the call logs to prove it. She continues to accuse me of being mistaken, and that Van Dyke Appliances does not make mistakes. I ask her if she can at least check who was working on Dec. 8th, so that the person that I scheduled the appointment with doesn't make a similar mistake in the future. She flat out refuses, and continues to be defensive. Obviously, I'm disappointed about now having to wait longer to get my dishwasher serviced, but I did not need the insults to my intelligence from Becky on top of that. Please avoid Van Dyke Appliances, unless you enjoy being insulted and doing business with a company that claims they can do no wrong.

Come to find out it was not a genuine iphone screen, proven by a certified apple tech with the part number and a simple light test. We didn't give him the password which he wanted to test the device. We wanted instead to test the device in person when I picked it up and keep my passcode private. He used this as an excuse as to why the problems were arising. So many failures when I had the device back, most notably the camera. Still putting my trust in him I asked him to explain and he told me that the phone may have been damaged internally and this model was notoriously tricky for face ID and camera malfunctions and that I should ALSO pay him to fix the camera. Thankful I got a second opinion from an apple tech who let me watch him open the phone. *When the phone was opened there was still bits of glass scattered through it, the clips were bent and the camera was left unconnected* (see photos) it was obvious that this phone sustained too much damage to be repaired fully by a screen replacement but Kelani didn't tell me that, he hid it under a new aftermarket screen, charged me for a genuine screen and wanted to continue to milk me with the new camera replacement. When I talked to Kelani for the final time, I started out trying to be reasonable. I asked for my broken screen and my money back and that he could have this one back. He quickly began defending himself saying that he wouldn't refund me and that I should just take him to court. (I see it's a popular reply for him in his comment responses) He also told me that he didn't need people from "my side" and people "who look and talk like me" because he has plenty of good customers with people who love him. Needless to say I suggest you stay far away from this place, in case he decides that you're the customer he's going to scam.
