A little sweets for our guests.

This was the 2nd party I've had at Benvenutos. I can't even express how amazing this place is in just this review. They are utmost professional in their execution of events. No stone is left unturned and they are extremely accommodating to the desires of their guests. The only thing we had to do was give them the headcount, and bring some decorations. Everything else, was on point from the professional service of the room captain, Noel, and the party organizer, Marija. The food was delicious and the tables looked gorgeous. It was a win, win. We were very happy with the outcome of our party, which was a bridal shower. I would highly recommend having any party here from a shower, birthday party to a wedding. We had our party in the Coral room.

One. Magical. Moment! My daughter's wedding was everything I ever dreamt it would be. We recently celebrated her wedding at Benvenuto, Boynton Beach, Florida and from the first moment until the last it was exquisite. Our guests were given sangria upon arrival. The courtyard where we held the ceremony, had an Italian vibe and the flowers from Kish Events & Decor enhanced it to perfection. After the ceremony Our guests went to an hour cocktail reception with white gloved servers passing hors d'oeuvres and open bar along which also had the wedding couples signature drink. Adonis from Kenny Mondo Enterprises was wonderful and kept the flow smooth for the entire evening from music prior to the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. The dinner was wonderful, equal to any of the five star restaurants I have gone to. Portion sizes were more than adequate for the largest appetite. The hardest part was picking between all the wonderful choices of entrees and appetizers. From the White gloved service, to the beautiful chandeliers in the room, to the strawberries decorating the champagne glasses and more. Every detail was taken care of. Especially were the little things I never thought to request that were present. Cake Creations from Jan provided wedding cake and it was lovely, everything my daughter dreamed of and was delicious. We gave creative license to both the florist and wedding cake designer and what they created were lovelier than anything we could of requested. Lisa from Benvenutos held my hand through the entire planning process. Many of the details I left to her as she is the expert and I loved everything she chose. A big thank you to Lisa and all the staff from Benvenuto's for helping make my daughters special day the day she will always remember.

Excellent service, delicious food. Nice ambiance. Reasonably quiet for a catering hall. Everyone should be happy.

We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Steak Tartare, served with beer-battered smoked onion petals, truffle, egg yolk, and manchego. It was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Za'atar Roasted Local Vegetables with spicy greens, feta tzatziki, lime pickles, and pepitas. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Or if you want, they have a great bar and you can hang out there and have a bite.

For dessert we went with the mini caramel sundae. Each of the items were so delicious that if I mentioned each item this would be a 4 page review.. I would say the my favorite items, was the pizza, and both Pasta dishes. Although everything was delicious. OMG It was so delicious we all shared and there was plenty to eat! Inside the decore was really interesting with a fun ambiance, bar area and outside seating. We finished with their home made desserts, we tried the Peanut butter ice cream sandwich the carmel ice cream with peanut brittle and fudge.

Oceano, why oh why did I wait so long!?…read more I have been wanting to try Oceano since it was located in its former Lantana location. So when friends asked if I were interested in joining them for an art exhibit, followed by dinner at Oceano, I could not say YES fast enough. I am thrilled to say the wait was worth it. All the chips fell into place when after a small wait we were seated outside (what luck), found our waiter was from Croton-on-the-Hudson (had to wait a year before he was able to land a job at Oceano), and our food was paced perfectly. Started with the Grilled Cucumber Salad that included sumac-labneh, medjool date, berbere spice pickle, pistachio, and the Sugar snap Pea Salad of rhubarb, pecorino, stracciatella, mint, lemon, marcona almond. Next up, Pizza! Had to of course start with the Straight Shooter Pizza which was a simple pie of tomato, mozz, basil, pecorino, good olive oil. Pizza #2 was the Zuchinni Pizza, a white pie of hazelnut, lemon, asiago, mozz, parm, stacciatella. To round out the meal we had the Gnocci Sardi. This was an utterly delicious bowl of pasta that included duck confit, morels, peas, parm, creme fraiche, fines herbs, wild ramps. Super meal with smiles all around. There are two restaurants I feel are super deserving of a Michelin Star in my area, and Oceano is definitely one of them! Not super close to me, but I see a few summer nights at the bar with a salad, pizza, and glass of wine in my future.

It was quite windy this time around but it was welcome with the May heat. As a note, there's a big parking lot (pay through Park Mobile) and the cost to park was reasonable. We were seated right away and our waiter was Jeremiah who couldn't be more pleasant. I had tea (they brought out a mini teapot) and my husband had coffee (they came around for refills). I chose to have the Crème Brûlée French toast which was one of the specials. It was good and not too too sweet (but still quite filling). My husband opted for the Vegetarian omelette which came with toast and potatoes (or grits). He said his omelette was fabulous and would be a redo. We will definitely be back!

The many times that I've been here, the food and drink have always hit just right and the service is quick - even when the place is packed. The berry Greek yogurt crepes are tangy, sweet, crunchy, and all together, a great combination of flavors and textures. There are so many berries - enough for each bite. The granola is the perfect juxtaposition to the soft, thin crepes that are filled with a tangy yogurt. The portion size is more than enough for one person, possibly even two. Unless I'm driving, I always start off my meal with one of their cocktails. My two favorites are their piña colada and bloody Mary. They're both tall, strong, and flavorful - perfect while watching to waves crash into the shore. I would also recommend their spanakopita when it's on their specials. Their Greek omelet is delicious too. This is a great place to bring out of town guests, and the great part about this place besides its food and drink is that you can take a leisurely stroll on the beach after breakfast or brunch and make the day extra special!

The service was spectacular. Beyond amazing. My friends and I ordered a few items to share. For appetizers, we split the wedge salad which came with tomato, bacon, cucumber, pickled red onion, and Maytag blue cheese dressing. It was delicious and I loved that they offered to split the salad in 2 dishes for my friend and I. So much easier. Additionally, we got the Snake River Farms Wagyu NY strip cooked medium and it was PHENOMENAL!!!!! For a side we got the baked mac and cheese which consisted of bechamel, 3 cheeses and pretzel crumbs. This side is a MUST! We also ordered the pumpkin gnocchi which consisted of duck confit, candied apple, and brown butter sage. My friends got the Lobster Campanelle which they were RAVING about. I had the Caesar salad, which was good but nothing to write home about. The organic greens salad was about the same. For the entrees, I had the NY strip and it was perfect. Juicy and flavorful. Perfect temp. You could tell the farm to table difference. He had the grouper, which he felt was good, but again not great. I'd highly recommend staying with the steaks. The sides were baked Mac & cheese and mushrooms. Both were delicious. Desserts were the cheesecake and carrot cake bread pudding. Both were tasty. They brought out a surprise dessert for my birthday which was a nice touch and piano played happy birthday. One note, I was impressed the manager told the table across from us to get the dog off the booth/table. Honestly was so off putting. The same dog kept nipping at servers as they walked by. I honestly feel they should've asked the dog to leave. At $500 for two, I shouldn't be listening to aggressive dogs and watching the owners keep them at the table which is so unsanitary. So I appreciate sticking to the rules, regardless if it upset that other couple.
