A little sweets for our guests.

This was the 2nd party I've had at Benvenutos. I can't even express how amazing this place is in just this review. They are utmost professional in their execution of events. No stone is left unturned and they are extremely accommodating to the desires of their guests. The only thing we had to do was give them the headcount, and bring some decorations. Everything else, was on point from the professional service of the room captain, Noel, and the party organizer, Marija. The food was delicious and the tables looked gorgeous. It was a win, win. We were very happy with the outcome of our party, which was a bridal shower. I would highly recommend having any party here from a shower, birthday party to a wedding. We had our party in the Coral room.

One. Magical. Moment! My daughter's wedding was everything I ever dreamt it would be. We recently celebrated her wedding at Benvenuto, Boynton Beach, Florida and from the first moment until the last it was exquisite. Our guests were given sangria upon arrival. The courtyard where we held the ceremony, had an Italian vibe and the flowers from Kish Events & Decor enhanced it to perfection. After the ceremony Our guests went to an hour cocktail reception with white gloved servers passing hors d'oeuvres and open bar along which also had the wedding couples signature drink. Adonis from Kenny Mondo Enterprises was wonderful and kept the flow smooth for the entire evening from music prior to the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. The dinner was wonderful, equal to any of the five star restaurants I have gone to. Portion sizes were more than adequate for the largest appetite. The hardest part was picking between all the wonderful choices of entrees and appetizers. From the White gloved service, to the beautiful chandeliers in the room, to the strawberries decorating the champagne glasses and more. Every detail was taken care of. Especially were the little things I never thought to request that were present. Cake Creations from Jan provided wedding cake and it was lovely, everything my daughter dreamed of and was delicious. We gave creative license to both the florist and wedding cake designer and what they created were lovelier than anything we could of requested. Lisa from Benvenutos held my hand through the entire planning process. Many of the details I left to her as she is the expert and I loved everything she chose. A big thank you to Lisa and all the staff from Benvenuto's for helping make my daughters special day the day she will always remember.

Excellent service, delicious food. Nice ambiance. Reasonably quiet for a catering hall. Everyone should be happy.

They have a really nice outdoor seating area, complete with heaters when needed. We chose to dine inside. The vibe inside the restaurant was kind of a boho rustic feel, and I really liked it. Soft lighting and music really set the tone. We were immediately greeted by our server, Gustavo, and given our menus. We don't drink, but they had a nice selection of drinks, cocktails and spirits. We decided to start with the sweet and sour cauliflower. It was absolutely delicious! Cauliflower battered and fried and tossed in a sweet and sour sauce. For our entree we shared the 44oz Creekstone ribeye. It was served with charred broccolini and and a fried airy potato side dish that was out of this world! The steak came sliced and off the bone, so it was perfect for sharing. It was served with 3 toppings; a horseradish sauce, a balsamic glaze, and delicious mixture of sliced peppers. Our steak was cooked perfectly, and seasoned well. We did not have dessert there, as we had a birthday cake at home. And I feel remiss that I didn't even look to see what they had. Overall, it was the perfect place to have a romantic, celebratory dinner! Thanks Driftwood. *Just a Note ~ I found it odd they added a 20% tip on a 2 top table, and I was glad I noticed it on the bill before we double tipped.

A few of the things I liked.. - Fruit juice used for mixers is made in-house fresh daily. The drinks are creative and made well. - The sweet and sour cauliflower, the sliders, the chicken and dumplings. - Servers are always knowledgeable and attentive - indoor and outdoor seating with fans on a warm day. Upscale vibe with dim lighting. - plenty of parking A few I didn't.. - The fish dip was just ok - the fried part of the southern fried chicken while juicy on the inside, lacked flavor - the up charge for almond vanilla milk in the espresso martini without being told up front of the added cost -the steak tartare happy hour portion is 1 bite-sized piece. Just offer the normal sized portion for a reduced happy hour price as opposed to 1/4th the portion for 1/3rd the price. Overall I would say every experience is good but not great. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try and seeing if you agree with my review.

Oceano, why oh why did I wait so long!?…read more I have been wanting to try Oceano since it was located in its former Lantana location. So when friends asked if I were interested in joining them for an art exhibit, followed by dinner at Oceano, I could not say YES fast enough. I am thrilled to say the wait was worth it. All the chips fell into place when after a small wait we were seated outside (what luck), found our waiter was from Croton-on-the-Hudson (had to wait a year before he was able to land a job at Oceano), and our food was paced perfectly. Started with the Grilled Cucumber Salad that included sumac-labneh, medjool date, berbere spice pickle, pistachio, and the Sugar snap Pea Salad of rhubarb, pecorino, stracciatella, mint, lemon, marcona almond. Next up, Pizza! Had to of course start with the Straight Shooter Pizza which was a simple pie of tomato, mozz, basil, pecorino, good olive oil. Pizza #2 was the Zuchinni Pizza, a white pie of hazelnut, lemon, asiago, mozz, parm, stacciatella. To round out the meal we had the Gnocci Sardi. This was an utterly delicious bowl of pasta that included duck confit, morels, peas, parm, creme fraiche, fines herbs, wild ramps. Super meal with smiles all around. There are two restaurants I feel are super deserving of a Michelin Star in my area, and Oceano is definitely one of them! Not super close to me, but I see a few summer nights at the bar with a salad, pizza, and glass of wine in my future.

The many times that I've been here, the food and drink have always hit just right and the service is quick - even when the place is packed. The berry Greek yogurt crepes are tangy, sweet, crunchy, and all together, a great combination of flavors and textures. There are so many berries - enough for each bite. The granola is the perfect juxtaposition to the soft, thin crepes that are filled with a tangy yogurt. The portion size is more than enough for one person, possibly even two. Unless I'm driving, I always start off my meal with one of their cocktails. My two favorites are their piña colada and bloody Mary. They're both tall, strong, and flavorful - perfect while watching to waves crash into the shore. I would also recommend their spanakopita when it's on their specials. Their Greek omelet is delicious too. This is a great place to bring out of town guests, and the great part about this place besides its food and drink is that you can take a leisurely stroll on the beach after breakfast or brunch and make the day extra special!

I had the Caesar salad, which was good but nothing to write home about. The organic greens salad was about the same. For the entrees, I had the NY strip and it was perfect. Juicy and flavorful. Perfect temp. You could tell the farm to table difference. He had the grouper, which he felt was good, but again not great. I'd highly recommend staying with the steaks. The sides were baked Mac & cheese and mushrooms. Both were delicious. Desserts were the cheesecake and carrot cake bread pudding. Both were tasty. They brought out a surprise dessert for my birthday which was a nice touch and piano played happy birthday. One note, I was impressed the manager told the table across from us to get the dog off the booth/table. Honestly was so off putting. The same dog kept nipping at servers as they walked by. I honestly feel they should've asked the dog to leave. At $500 for two, I shouldn't be listening to aggressive dogs and watching the owners keep them at the table which is so unsanitary. So I appreciate sticking to the rules, regardless if it upset that other couple.

Nonetheless, the service was attentive and excellent and the food prepared expertly. The wilted spinach salad with warm bacon vinaigrette was delightful and the pappardelle bolognese was prepared with perfectly cooked al dente pasta and a savory ragú that was literally lip smacking. With a decent glass of wine (Orin Swift!) from an excellent by the glass list I was out the door for $120 including a generous gratuity for good service. It wasn't too much for a special visit to Palm Beach even if it was too much for everyday.
