Tamago Nigiri (2pcs) and Spring Rolls (4 pcs)
Diana C.

Large portions for price! They are take out only and only open during the week. They have a pretty large menu to choose from. Everything was packaged very securely and thoughtfully as well. The sushi was pretty good and the service was speedy and friendly at pick up. Definitely a solid spot to stop in and grab a quick meal to go!

Chicken Katsu Meal

The chicken katsu and tempura are juicy and crispy. Love the salad dressing as well! Very convenient to-go lunch option!

HUGE and delicious portion of chicken teriyaki for the very good price! we also tried their miso soup and it was good

Spicy chicken terriyaki
Andrew Z.

I came to bento world at the recommendation of my hotel host for lunch. Due to current restrictions, they only had take out, so I got a Spicy Chicken Teriyaki plate and a Spicy Salmon roll for takeout. The Spicy chicken teriyaki plate solid and came in a really large portion. However, I thought there was a too much sauce on the chicken, which overpowered any other flavors which may have been in the chicken or the rice. The plate also came with a side of salad which was nice and added a bit of freshness and color to the dish. The spicy salmon roll didn't really have that much flavor or spice on its own, which I was a little disappointed in. Eating it with soy sauce and pickled ginger was nice though, as they added a lot of flavor which made up for the lack of flavor from the salmon. Overall, this place gives large portions for cheap, so if you are looking for a cheap and easy lunch, this is a really nice place to go to!

Amazing food! The quality is definitely there with their bento box. The sushi bento box was very filling and I loved every bite. The tempura shrimp were perfectly crunchy while the sushi was the perfect bite. Let's not forget the sashimi, as each piece was thick and flavorful. To complement everything, the coleslaw made a great addition to balance out a perfect meal.

Worst terriyaki I had! Didn't even know you could mess up chicken terriyaki until I had this place. The chicken is so dry and the sauce isn't good either. It was very fast for takeout but I would never come back here.

One of my favorite bento places now. Portion size and quality were on point. From the sushi, to the chicken, to the tempura, all were juicy and fresh. I'd come back!

Beef Udon with Shrimp Tempura
Valerie Y.

I decided to order from Bento World on UberEats and I was blown away by the food, which was really high quality for takeout! I ordered the Shrimp Tempura and the Beef Udon - my order was prepared immediately and I received the food at my door within 30 minutes of placing the order. I usually worry about getting takeout food because it's not as warm or as good as it would be in the restaurant, but the two things I got were great. The Shrimp Tempura was perfectly crispy and the Udon was really good - noodles weren't soggy at all. I'd definitely love to come back in person!

Salmon Avocado Roll Sake Maki Negihama Maki
Alexandra B.

My sushi eating experience is transformed. I ordered the Negi Hama maki, and can't believe how simply delicious it is. Accompanied by a Sake Maki (salmon roll) and a Salmon Avocado roll, and my indulgent Sushi dinner is made. If Belltown were home I would be here all the time.

Yum! This place is good! I love their chicken teriyaki. It comes with steamed rice and vegetables. The chicken is cooked perfectly and it isn't overly dry. If you need extra teriyaki sauce, they have squeeze bottles for you to add more sauce. I also like their beef yakisoba. This place is kinda small and it might be better to call in.

Great small, local hole in the wall type spot. Only reason I'm taking off a star is because the appearance of the place, no seating and no bathrooms. But to be honest not much of that is their fault. Put that with the fact that their food is good, but nothing incredible, I felt it got a 4 star in my book. But besides all that, super friendly place, with a huge menu with all the things you would expect plus more. Definitely recommend, I try to come here weekly as its in my area. (which is another thing, the location is awesome)

Pretty great food. The yakisoba is amazing for its price and the time that they take to bring it out.

The crowds are less heavy now and yelp joining the waitlist is super convenient. Although today's waitlist join said it would take 16-33min to be seated, I got the text that table was ready within 3 minutes. We were still en route and made it within 15 minutes but were removed from the waitlist because we didn't answer the 3 minute call. Nonetheless, we only waited 10min for another table. The dining area that is nearest to reception can get "cold" particularly the corner, we sat there once and your elders will not like it. Today we got seated there again and decided to wait for the other side where the AC wasn't full blast. Its all chill. Friendly, accommodating staff. The food comes fast, like Din Tai Fung. The cost too, is like DTF. Overall, its good, but not worth the higher cost, but the service and cleanliness make it a combined 5 Star. The Kalbi Tang is the star, a must get every single visit.

It is set up like a cute korean style bar with small round tables which make sharing easier. They have a pretty good selection on their menu and we ordered a couple of items to share. The Rose Ttoekbokki with cheese was very yummy, but it kinda tasted like pasta with rice cakes instead of spaghetti. I think that is the point of this dish, so if you want a more traditional spicy flavor then get the other ttoekbokki option (spicy rice cakes). We still loved this one and the rice cakes were so chewy and delicious. The cheese corn was very yummy and exactly what you would expect. It pairs perfectly with the other dishes. My friends also shared the Seafood ramen and Beef bulgogi. They liked both dishes. One of our favorite things were the side dishes actually! The tofu was so yummy, and the bean sprouts were so crunchy and well seasoned. We even asked for extra! The only aspect that makes it difficult to come more often is the price point. Since the dishes are so big and shareable, it is easy to split amongst a group, but it is a little less affordable to come here for dinner and drinks.

JangAn puts diners in the driver's seat, meaning that seasoning your soup is up to you and your own preferences. This method of seasoning complements the beauty of seolleongtang, which seems to deepen as you eat it. Warmth, seasoning, and time gradually coaxes more richness from the bowl, so take your time and enjoy the process. One special shout out for the banchan. You'll get both Kimchi and Kkakdugi (raddish) with your meal, and both can be refilled freely. I think you'll want to, because it was among the best I've ever had. I was the one saying "hello" first and saying "how are you?" before the cashier said anything. Kind of awkward/standoffish but not a dealbreaker when the food is good. Most recently I had the kimchi jigae, which was relatively spicy, even when I asked for less spicy (and they said they could accommodate). I'd say it was like 2-3 stars. Flavor was great though and it was a decent portion (for $17) and satisfying. Also, a pretty wide range of menu options, despite it being a small place. There were 4 complimentary banchan dishes (napa kimchi, cucumber kimchi, seasoned bean sprouts, and fish cakes). Note that I don't think there are free refills like other places... maybe you can ask but I didn't see anyone doing so. For 1-2 people, it's a relatively generous amount. Also, only certain dishes come with the banchan, so be sure to read the menu carefully if you are wanting the banchan.

I have dined here before so the interiors isn't too different just small changes. Let's jump to the food- I ordered the galbitang and it came with 10 different banchan. Which is a nice surprise since some restaurants aren't as generous in the banchan. The galbitang was so flavorful for a "clear" soup and the meat was tender. It also included a good portion of meat. I've tried galbitang at other places, but there was an umami that many didn't have. All the banchan were flavorful too, I thought the kimchi had a good balance as sometimes it can be a bit on the saltier side. Service was great too, the sever was friendly and checked often.
