District H is like a smaller version of H-Mart with lots of ready-to-eat options as soon as you enter the door- great for city dwellers making a quick stop. I was excited to check out all the prepackaged to-go foods so that I could have a quick meal before exploring more of the SLU area. There were croquettes, fried chicken, kimbap, etc, lots of hot and cold items. I noticed a lot of the hot items had dripping condensation on the inside of the top of the packaging... weirded me out a bit. I picked a katsu pork meal that looked dry and very crispy. I walked around the rest of the store. It had a good variety packed into a smaller space, so I thought that was cool. It also had a food court that looked a little... unmanaged? There were barely any workers but a couple people eating. The food looked good, but I didn't eat there. Also picked up a couple chips with flavors I'd never seen before. The cashier was friendly. There is a nice little eating area by the windows, which I took advantage of. The pork katsu meal was... lackluster. It wasn't crispy AT ALL... what the heck? It's weird how crispy the breading looked, but it was all mush. I know it was sitting in a package but I thought it would at least be somewhat crunchy. Also, there was way too little sauce for the pork. Something in either the sauce or the pork was a little tangy in an off way. The rice was alright... there were some really hard pieces on the bottom that I had to be careful not to bite too hard down on. Overall, the prices were a bit high for what you get, food was ok, but the place is interesting. It might be better for someone who lives nearby for the convenience, and the fact that they can try different Asian foods on the go, even if it's not the greatest of quality.

District H isAsian market and food hall. They had a wide selection of Asian grocery items from a fridge full of kimbap to fresh produce. There is also a food hall area that has different restaurants. I didn't try any of those so I can only speak on the grocery part.

**vegetarian review** Went on Friday afternoon and it was not super busy. I got the k1- veggie bibimbap at ~$15. The flavours are good and the portions size as well. I would go back to try other things

I'm in Seattle for a work trip and I have to RESTRAIN myself from coming here to eat for every. meal. The food is so tasty and some of the prepared stuff gets a 20% markdown after 17:00. I recommend going to the downstairs soup/soondubu dish place & trying their jjamppong, especially if you love mussels (they have a crap ton of mussels in theirs). I also recommend their fried chicken (and I'm not even a big fried chicken girly tbh). I also loved their tteokbokki. If I had a bigger budget I would be stuffing my suitcase with cookware, specialty instant noodles, snacks, and whatever fresh stuff TSA wouldn't confiscate LOL

This is a great place to get Asian food for lunch! I really like the hot bar. There are lots of options like tteobokki, sashimi, chirashi bowl, kalbi ribs, bulgogi, fried rice, fried chicken, kimchi fried rice. The chirashi is not the best chirashi ever, but it's good for grocery store chirashi. Note: Plastic bag cost 8 cents, so if you don't want to pay that make sure you bring your own The service is good. There's not usually a line to pay when I go for a workday lunch, but if there is one, they move through people very quickly so I never feel like I'm waiting too long. The inside is small, but they pack a lot of options for hot food, drinks, snacks, and groceries. It's also connected to a bakery next door, which I like to browse as well.

My veggi bibimbio was a nice assortment full of flavor. Freshly prepared served on a bed of white rice. The accompanying hot sauce was not just hot, but added flavor, too.

I love this place. It's close to home and great to visit if you need to grab a quick bite or pick something up at the store. I love the selection of drinks and groceries. Tons of premade meals to choose from as well. They have a couple of restaurants inside as well as a bakery.... not really part of District H, but in the same building. I got the udon and the cheese chicken, both were served hot and fresh.

Love District H! It's super convenient if you need to grab a couple grocery items or want have a nice lunch at the food court. District H is like a mini version of H mart, so it's not enough for a full grocery haul but great if you need a couple items. And the snack selection is on point! The food court is super good too. Most items are between $10-15 with huge portions, so it's a great deal! I got the cheesy fire chicken and it so good and flavorful - and the portion was enough for 2 meals for me. This location is also connected to a Tous Les Jours (which is my fav bakery) so that's a nice bonus!

I came here for sashimi but they only seemed to have poke rice bowls. I didn't expect them to be an H Mart. It's definitely one of the nicer ones, and has a food court that is well kept and easy to come with groups. I got fried chicken from the hot foods bar. It was pretty good and a little spicy. The portion was huge and cheap. The cashier was extremely friendly and fun to chat with.

Down the street from my hotel! Lots of prepared hot meals and snacks to choose from. They also have grocery items. You can also get made to order food there as well.

Specifically to get some freshly baked Portugese egg tarts. Their frozen food section is decent and has what I need for hotpot dinners. The meat section is rather limited. I used to go to quite a few Asian stores in the international District, and usually the fresh foods were all cheap cheaper than any typical grocery store, but it seems to be the opposite of of this store. They do have some cute shopping parts for the little ones that are small shopping carts at a very low level for children to push and say "shopper in training". Really love this. Lines are pretty long but the nice benefit is that the cashiers are all humans and that they are not using self checkout. They typically have 2 cashiers working during the daytime. Not sure if they have more during evening hours.

Costing under $60, the large cake was beautifully made and decorated. Like other Asian bakeries (e.g. Paris Baguette, Tous Les Jours, 85 C), the cake was chiffon with whipped cream and was quite good. But what made it stand out was how mango and strawberries were incorporated into the design AND how it tasted. Mangoes were thinly sliced and used like fondant to COVER the entire top of the cake. Then chopped mangos and whole strawberries were added on top to decorate it even more. Fondant is great to make the cake look good, but I don't like it as an edible product (it's like eating pure sugar for me). Ripe mango, on the other hand, I could eat all day...and this version was ripe without being overly so. The cake came well packaged in a travel container, and included a cake cutter, signage, and a candle. The four of us could barely make a large dent in it (maybe a 1/3), even though it didn't use buttermilk frosting, but used really good whipped cream instead. I think it's twice the size of a Tous Les Jour large (which is usually what our family gets for birthdays), and wasn't that much more.

When I asked an employee whether any vegetable bao were still available, she told me--clearly and confidently--that there were. I specifically questioned this, pointing to the "sold out" sign, yet she insisted that they were not sold out and proceeded to package four for me. When she handed me the box, I asked again--explicitly--whether these were vegetarian. For a third time, she assured me that they were. After a two-hour drive home, I opened the box to find that I had been given pork bao. This was not a minor oversight. I asked multiple times and received repeated, unequivocal assurances. At that point, this ceases to be a simple mistake and reflects either a complete disregard for accuracy or a willingness to mislead a customer to move product. Neither is acceptable. Customers rely on staff to provide correct information, especially when dietary preferences or restrictions are involved. The failure here was not just operational--it was a failure of basic honesty and accountability. This experience left me feeling violated, disrespected, and taken advantage of. It is extremely disappointing that such conduct can occur in a business that presents itself as reputable. One interaction like this is enough to severely damage trust in the store as a whole.

After placing your order, the staff make your food and then call your name out when your food's ready. Both my friend and I got their longanisa plate, which comes with rice and pancit. Rice is standard and has some sauce on it, while the pancit is lightly salted and makes for a great palette cleanser. The real winner was the longanisa, and you get three thick pieces of them for around $18 after tax!
