The reason for the 1 star is because of customer service, when we questioned are bill the man freeked out , very loud and aggresive and started yelling and my husband everyone could here him out side. They are apparently up charging everyone 1$ for evey sandwich and they have a tiny sign u dont see and doesn't explain why. He said your stressing me out i deal with 300 people a day . they Apparently are doing very well during this pandemic and they do not need our business he made that clear. My first time here and this is what I thought: This place is not bad. But it isn't great either. I got the chicken tender meal and the tenders were on the burnt side, leaving them tough to bite into and chew. The tables were dirty in the establishment, leaving seating options limited to just a couple of tables. The BBQ sauce is not at all good. I immediately went back to the counter and asked for sweet and sour (they happened to carry my favorite kind of sweet and sour sauce.) Will I return? Possibly. I had the fried haddock and some fried clam strips. They were about as good and fresh of fried seafood as you could get. If you want any fried seafood that is in season, then I highly recommend this place. There other good was good to, decent fries, decent onion rings. But it is the fresh seafood, fried to perfection that gives this place it's 4 stars. My rating system: 3 star = good food. After hearing from many people how delicious it was, we finally gave it a try with a few of our friends. Let me start by saying, neither my boyfriend nor I like roast beef, and I'm not particularly into fried foods. We decided to split a value meal so we could try their fries and sandwich. We got a roast beef sandwich with chipotle mayo, provolone cheese and onions, and sweet potato fries as a side. The sandwich was AMAZING. The sweet potato fries were okay, but their regular fries are much much better. It was a bit pricey ($13) for a meal, but a good change from our usual "go to" places. The only thing we didn't like was that there were flies around inside the restaurant. It's not exactly an upscale atmosphere and the doors to the outside were left open so it wasn't repulsive by any means. Just not 5 star worthy. I love the food, but they charge extra for pickles... This is now the third time I've ordered from Bentley's that they've either messed up my order or overcharged me for food. Today, I've got to say something. I ordered a Value meal #10 which is a BBQ Chicken sandwich and comes with fries and a drink for $8.99. We have 9% meals tax so it should of been $9.80 total with tax. Instead they charged me about $12 for the meal. I asked the cashier why it was more, because I got the price directly from their website (not the google page menu which I made the mistake of using the last time). She told me that they charge for toppings even though she asked me on the phone if I wanted anything on it without any mention of it being extra. I only got lettuce tomato pickles and cheese. Absolutely, the best roast beef I've ever had. I've been to many roast beef places over time and this is by far the best RB! My only complaint is with the value meal. The small drink just isn't enough and I don't believe there are refills. So, that's my biggest complaint. Not a huge one but still. The price of the VM is awesome though, so... there's that. We've moved about 30 minutes away and still I make my husband drive out here for the RB, it's that good. I can't say I've tried anything else because every time I go I can't not get the roast beef. The staff is friendly enough. I think it depends on the day though. Once in awhile they seem abrupt. This place is amazing if you're looking for a great roast beef spot. read more

I've continued to patronize Bentleys very regularly since my initial review and over the course of these years have never been disappointed. The owner and staff are all phenomenal. I've sampled items from every area of the menu: titular roast beef, chicken, seafood, and other sandiwches. My current fave are the Greek Fries, thick cut steak fries w/ oil, garlic and feta cheeese. The chicken fingers are amazing. The breading is unlike any I've had before and they're so good. The small order is huge and can easily go for two meals or split between 2 or 3 people. Their fresh lemonade is addictive. It's a little on the tart side but I like that type. The lobster roll is mayo based and a good value for the price. The roast beef is pretty good but kind of basic with nothing too special about it. I did order the bbq chicken sandwich once and it was kind of odd. It's shredded white meat chicken with a little bit of bbq sauce. I was expecting more of a grilled chicken breast. It was decent but not what I wanted but it doesn't describe it at all on the menu. My go to place for lunch. I almost always get the roast beef on a sub roll, with light horse radish sauce. Giant sandwich with tender perfectly cooked beef. On occasion I will get the Bentley's steak sandwich, which is steak and cheese with peppers and onions and comes with bbq sauce on the side. Excellent. We ordered the much touted lobster roll which comes with fries and slaw and a roast beef sandwich which came with onion rings. 2 soda fountain drinks. Self service. Cost $38.00. I kid you not! The lobster was tasteless and sparse on the portion. The beef was string and close to raw. The onion rings and fries were OK. What a colossal disappointment! We went for fried clams. Outside dining. Not the best, but also not the worse we have ever had. Had a side of onion rings, not good. Tasted like they were out of a freezer bag, just blah. I had a Giant (6 oz) roast beef on onion roll with a dash of mayo and horseradish. This sandwich was pure ambrosia. The roast beef tasted like a freshly char broiled medium rare steak. By far one of if not the best roast beef sandwich I've had over the last several decades in multiple states across the USA. The spicy curly fries and onion rings are great! A great place to eat in (or outside in good weather) or ordering takeout. I also ordered a Lime Ricky which I don't see on many restaurant menus today but I loved them as a little kid in the 60's and while I give the meal, friendly service and overall experience 5 stars I noticed they used fresh squeezed limes, and raspberry syrup but added Sprite instead of club soda or seltzer. I ordered 2 super beef sandwiches, one of which I asked to have them give me the mayonnaise on the side because the last time the put way too much on. When I looked at the recipe, they were charging me $0.50 for not putting it on the sandwich but putting it in a cup to go. The owner/manager told me that's the way we are. I told them I didn't want any mayo I would stop and buy a container at Shaw's. 16 years ago I stopped going there because they pulled the same trick. That's why I will never go back. The location kinda sucks. It's in that section on Route 101A that if you pass it, you have to make a U-turn somewhere up the road...usually around Pittsfield, NH. That being said... The food is very good! I've had a few Roast Beef subs there, some chicken kabob type sandwiches and some other random tidbits. All very high quality, tasty and fresh. The service has been good too. The girl working the register today may or may not have been the happiest person on the planet. She was...how shall I say...perky? But she was super nice. Overall, great little sub shop type of place to stop in for a quick lunch. I think there's a little playground out front for the kiddos...not 100% on that...I could have been thinking of a game of Grand Theft Auto IV I was just playing when I drove into playground filled with some gang hoodlums and ran them all over w/ my Lincoln Continental look-a-like car and then I capped their ass w/ my shotgun, so kick ass, I'm so tough in that game it's unbelievable. Search for Longhorn Steakhouse or Joeys Diner to get you close. We tried to navigate here via the Yelp map provided and it sends you into an industrial park off of 101a in Nashua. The correct location is about 5 miles further west, away from Nashua. I raised this with the owners but they weren't aware and don't know how to change it. Saying all that, it was worth the drive to find the correct location. Good solid RB sandwich with nice selection of toppings. Just dined her for lunch with my friend and was thoroughly disappointed. The girl that took our order clearly had no idea what was offered at the restaurant and was not helpful or informative when we asked questions and placed our order. When our food came out, it was not what we ordered. Despite ordering and paying for two value meal sandwiches, we received only one as a value meal and the other came out as just a sandwich. After being told the pastrami sandwich is made with toppings already on it, we were expecting it to have something other than meat and the bun. We were wrong. The pastrami sandwich was given to us with a thin layer of pastrami crumbles on a bun that was too big for the little amount of meat we were given. Been here a few times and the food is pretty good. I have had their pastrami, steak and cheese both were good. I really like their Roast beef sandwhich which I had today. The giant roast beef combo came with small fries and fountain drink for $9.95 fyi allmenus was wrong they priced it $6.95. They added 50cents for cheese and 15 cents for lettuce, really? The sandwhich was on a fesh onion roll and had a light BBQ sauce and tasted great. The owner is very nice and the service overall was great. The price is the only thing that holds this place from getting 4 stars everything is overpriced and they charge for lettuce, tomato, onion, everthing.
