My husband is annoyingly picky sometimes. My husband doesn't like runny eggs, and so doesn't usually like Eggs Benedict. I had to convince him to come to Bene's after I first visited with my cousin. My husband LOVES Bene's. When we have money to go out to breakfast, this is our first choice every time. We even wake up at 6am to go before my husband goes to class at 8am. And I am not a morning person haha! If you're in the neighborhood, try their special of the month. Even if it sounds weird, you're more than likely going to love it. Unless, of course, you've got allergies or hate certain flavors. My favorite part of Bene's is that they offer half-plates. It comes with the same amount of home fries or hash browns, but only one bene. It's the perfect size for someone who doesn't eat a ton; and, the perfect price for all of us broke ass college kids. Only live a few blocks away, go to Bene's often. Everything served in the breakfast menu is fantastic. Huge portions, even the 1/2 s. Hashbrowns are crispy on the outside and cooked well inside. Service is quick and friendly, even when they are extremely busy. Catering and takeout options are great. Only prob I have is the hamburgers are frozen patties, and my avocado burger was not cooked through, and there were only 4 pieces of avocado, each about the size of a fingernail. Worth the drive to Cheney! I'm a huge fan of Eggs Benedict. So when I heard this place opened I had to check it out! I had the Cali Benedict today. It was delicious. A great variety of flavors. Decided to brave the elements this morning and venture down to Bene's in downtown Cheney for a late breakfast. So glad we did! It was busy, but well staffed. Been here many times. Just average food but today the service was awful. The drink gal was not friendly and I'm not fond of their can soda deal. I watched one of the servers pull an open can out of frig and pour it in a cup and then open another can to fill it all the way. So basically you get half flat soda? I mean it was 9 am so not sure if that soda was from the day before or??? I totally would have sent that back if it was my order. Glad I ordered coffee. If you order scrambled eggs you don't get ' scrambled eggs' you get eggs cooked flat on the grill and folded over. This is not real scrambled eggs. read more

I tried Bene's when they first opened. I love eggs Benedict so I was really excited when they came to town. My first experience did not go so well. The poached eggs were saturated with water to the point when I broke the yoke it was just runny water that came out. I couldn't eat my plate. I left disappointed and had no intentions of going back. But yesterday I decided to give them another try and I am so happy that I did!! I had the chicken fried steak with home fries and a biscuit. My eggs were a perfect over-medium. I normally eat half my plate and save the rest for later. Yesterday, I ate EVERYTHING on my plate. My friend had the CA bene's and it was delicious! The eggs were poached beautifully. My hubs had the waffle combo and it's one of the better waffles I've tasted. The coffee was really good and nothing beats their freshly squeezed OJ. This will be our new breakfast go-to! read more

Came here mid morning on a weekday with a friend and we were able to be seated right away! The coffee is great, and we both got a half order of classic Benedict's. The half order was definitely enough and it came out no longer than ten minutes after we ordered. This is a classic breakfast spot. It's jams are local and incredibly good. The cooks are fantastic with their timing and I have not once had an even mediocre experience at Bene's. The staff is fantastically upbeat and kind, and the food is clearly a priority for the kitchen staff. Whoever is on their cooking shifts is a magician and makes this place a MUST GO location for anyone in Cheney. Been here before and the food was delicious, however my husband and I went there today and were told it would be a fifteen minute wait.... ten minutes in a group of nine came in and were told it would be a twenty minute wait for two tables together, ten minutes later the group of nine were seated and we were left waiting still after twenty minutes with no word from the waiter.... pretty sucky he didn't at least ask us if we were ok with him wearing them first.... we would have been fine with it but he seated the party of nine first and said nothing to us. read more
