Pro's: This place was open when others were not. Seems fresh and clean inside. Has the same decor as The Farmhouse - shabby chic. Con's: The food portions are a joke! Seating is cramped. I got an omelet and it was fine, but my poor family was left hungry! In all fairness, maybe this place is only good if you are getting Eggs Benedict, which we do not eat. They got waffles and scrambles, but the portions were so small and it was way too expensive. Will NOT be going back. read more

I tell you what I order the Cali Benedict and whatever kind of sauce is on that is so good I can't believe it. These guys are masters of their craft, I tell you what. Both times I've been there, great service. It was like $6 something for a glass of OJ though! That's crazy! I mean I tell you what inflation is killer. This place is pretty good for breakfast. Their menu is a bit limited but their flavors are there! They have great mimosa options and even carry drink platters! If you're not having breakfast at Bene's in Cheney, you're doing it wrong. Been here a couple times now and it never disappoints, so delicious! They offer a lot of unique twists to the classic Benedict, as well as several traditional plates! Today I ordered the Fireman's Benedict, it had smoked sausage, roasted peppers, jalapeños and a Sriracha Hollandaise sauce...... wow!! I almost ordered another one to take home with me. Service is always on point and friendly, we even had a visit to our table from the chef/owner just checking in on us to see how we've been. Oh and might have over heard one of the servers talking about a possible Bene's coming to Spokane....... Can't wait!!! read more

I met a colleague at Bene's for breakfast. I had never seen or heard of it, but I'm glad recommended it. The service was prompt and friendly. The young lady who waited on us was quite attentive. I ordered the chorizo eggs Benedict. I've never had eggs Benedict with anything other than Hollandaise sauce. The meal was cooked superbly, and the portion was quite generous. This restaurant specializes in eggs Benedict, and they have several ways they prepare them. I look forward to going back and trying some of their other varieties. read more

These guys are doing great, and that's a good thing for Cheney. Had a nice turkey club today, and my son enjoyed his burger, so this proves to me they are not just a breakfast specialty joint. Bene's is a new restaurant, or an older restaurant re-opened with a new name and new management. It is a breakfast and lunch place. Hours are 6 AM to 2 PM. I went there for lunch. The dining room has about 50 seats. Tables are set wide enough apart so that I didn't feel crowded. The place was almost full. Cheney is a college town but I notice that there were few college age customers. Mostly an older adult crowd. The parking lot was full so I parked on the street. Despite being almost full the service was quick. Everyone was getting food in a short while after arriving. Their 3 servers were quick and courteous. I was there for lunch so I got the hamburger. It had a large piece of meat and hung out of the bun. The bun was nicely toasted on the grill. Fries seemed a little over cooked. I noticed several other people getting breakfast items. The guy at the next table had a waffle with whip cream. This restaurant is barefoot friendly. read more

I'm so happy this place came to Cheney! The service was good and reasonably prices. Chairs are ugly and uncomfortable but I'll deal with that for some good food! I ordered the country Benedict and the regular Benedict with hash browns. Everything was amazing! Hashbrowns were cooked perfectly and so was the Benedict's. The serving size was huge and they let you do half orders if you're a reasonable eater, which I am not so I ordered two different ones because I am indecisive. They come with hashbrowns, country potatoes, cottage cheese, or fruit. My homie ordered the country potatoes and those were equally delicious. You can do half and half with those too which I will do on my next visit. So glad I tried this place! read more

I have been ordering at Benes from time to time now for about a year and I love my order every time. Love the cute themed mimosas. Waffles are amazing. I love the huckleberry waffle. I love to get the cure-all (around $17) when I'm really hungry. Comes with meat, 3 eggs, and two sides. Or a sweet special for when I'm not that hungry. That comes with 1 egg, 2 meats and a waffle for $7.5 The egg Benedict's are yummy as well. I love getting the CFS Benedict. read more

Myself and three friends went there for lunch today. Noting that they had gluten-free menus I was glad to order a lunch to take home to my son who is 100% gluten-free. My son opened the container and questioned whether it was gluten-free or not and I said of course it is I ordered gluten-free that's what she brought me, well he felt it did not appear to be the gluten-free type food he'd ever seen. So I immediately called the restaurant and ask if the food was gluten free and she said no, she guessed she didn't hear me say gluten free. I pointed to the gluten-free order when I ordered it. I said great, I can't eat it and he has no lunch. And all she said was I'm sure glad that you caught it now I'm sorry. I waited to be offered a free meal and didn't get it. I paid over $15 for that lunch. Thank God, I found a neighbor that could eat it. I did explain to her that he was highly intolerant of any gluten and all I got was I'm sorry. I think they could have done better. And I think they need to be more conscientious when someone orders specialty food because it's highly dangerous to make a mistake. If my son would have eaten the food he would be in the hospital today. read more

ADV Rider Great Breakfast! I met up with a couple of other ADV riders at Bene's for breakfast before enjoying a days ride and Sprint Boat Races down in St John. I had never been to Bene's before and was pleasantly surprised. The establishment was clean, and although they were pretty busy the service was quick. My breakfast was served promptly and it was hot! My breakfast was just as i had ordered it, near perfection. The prices were very reasonable for the proportions served. Thanks for a great experience Bene's. Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Bene's! I loved that you can select more than one kind of Benedict to have with breakfast - half of one and half of another - and their menu is so unique and diverse! I had a half order of the chorizo benedict and a half order of the southern benedict. Both were so good and full of flavor. Also, the hash browns were perfectly crispy, which we all know is of utmost importance! :) We will definitely be back and I've already told ALL my friends- haha! Imagine for a moment.... An entire restaurant dedicated to benedict sauce.... And there you have... Bene's! Not their entire menu has benedict sauce on it, they do have other food options as well. BUT... being a benedict fan... this little gem is the Graceland of eggs benedict! I have only eaten here a few times, but it has been excellent every time. Staff is super friendly, coffee is very good, and breakfast for 2 is about $25. Worth every penny! For those looking for non benedict options, they have a croissant stuffed with eggs, ham and a few different cheeses, that is to die for!!! read more

My husband is annoyingly picky sometimes. My husband doesn't like runny eggs, and so doesn't usually like Eggs Benedict. I had to convince him to come to Bene's after I first visited with my cousin. My husband LOVES Bene's. When we have money to go out to breakfast, this is our first choice every time. We even wake up at 6am to go before my husband goes to class at 8am. And I am not a morning person haha! If you're in the neighborhood, try their special of the month. Even if it sounds weird, you're more than likely going to love it. Unless, of course, you've got allergies or hate certain flavors. My favorite part of Bene's is that they offer half-plates. It comes with the same amount of home fries or hash browns, but only one bene. It's the perfect size for someone who doesn't eat a ton; and, the perfect price for all of us broke ass college kids. Only live a few blocks away, go to Bene's often. Everything served in the breakfast menu is fantastic. Huge portions, even the 1/2 s. Hashbrowns are crispy on the outside and cooked well inside. Service is quick and friendly, even when they are extremely busy. Catering and takeout options are great. Only prob I have is the hamburgers are frozen patties, and my avocado burger was not cooked through, and there were only 4 pieces of avocado, each about the size of a fingernail.
