This was definitely a medocre experience for me. I got the Korean ribs not that good. I got mostly fatty pieces and I opted for fried rice. It was a very mid fried rice. I wouldn't get it again. I wouldn't get the ribs again either. They had a service robot so not much of a person to person service. Some people really that nowadays though so it's nice to add. It wasn't super busy when I went so we could sit anywhere. The napkins were running out too. They needed to refill those and utensils. I'll be honest though. There wasn't much to particularly rave about this place. I miss when it was triple crown.

Milk teas are great with lots of choices. Vegetable fried rice was good. Katsu rice bowl was delicious. My wife and I have been here a few times and it's been good. Morning/ afternoon FOH team members are much more approachable. Loved the dessert buns they have. Love the deco. Great seating nice ambiance in there. We will be back.

The food was amazing, very tasty rice bowls and had sweet muni buns with a milk tea. Love it, will come back.

This was our second visit to Belly Bowl and we enjoyed it. On this visit, we had the s&p fried tofu, spam & egg sandwhich, beef fried rice and beef udon (not pictured). We also share a yogurt smoothie and the mango milk tea. Our robot delivered all of our food in a timely manner. We also love the self serve concept here so we don't have to keep flagging someone down - however there are workers here that will check up on you and help as needed. Our kids love it and are already talking about what they will get next time.

    - FOOD - Orange chicken - Needs to be crispier and sweeter with stronger tang. The flavor was too mellow for orange chicken and it wasn't crispy at all. I like that it's served bibimbap style with the mixed veggies and rice. Seafood pancake - It's exactly what I expected with a mix of veggies and some squid. Only suggestion is for staff to please cut it into slices. - SERVICE - You'll be greeted upon entry but after that it's all self serve. You order from the tablet or on your phone and a robot will deliver to you. - PLACE - Surprisingly very cozy and hip. Perfect for working on a laptop or just a casual hangout. - VERDICT - Food can be improved but overall I liked it, this place has potential and I will definitely visit again to try the other items.

Casual pan-asian eatery with a modern airy, coffee shop feel. Felt transported into a K-drama. The menu had great app options, rice udon and K-Ramen bowls, and bubble teas. We placed our order using a self-ordering kiosk (two available) and a British little robot served us our drinks and meal when ready. It's definitely a modern approach to service, but there was also an attendant on site who helped me when the kiosk had to reset. Pleasantly surprised by the flavor of our brown sugar milk tea; although I wish I had been prompted to ordered it slightly less sweetener (maybe 75% or 50% would've been perfection). We ordered a spicy pork k-ramen (option for mild or spicy) and added a poached egg. My bulgogi in my k-ramen was less marinated than expected, so I kinda wished I ordered the rice bowl instead. They reminded us of elevated instant ramens, but both came out piping hot and hit the spot for a comforting casual meal. My partner and I went down memory lane about lounges we had a available to us as teens. I would've loved grabbing late night bbt or doing homework with friends here. We plan on inviting our friends to join us in the future for post-church lunch. There's ample seating options for various party sizes, reasonable prices, and the set up of self-ordering; all making this place group-friendly. Look forward to filling out bellies here again!

I was looking for a rice bowl and came across this on. Google decided to give it a try. You're able to scan the menu from the table, but since I was having a hard time, they have it in the front where you're able to order which was nice and easy. I ordered the chicken Katsu bowl. And the little robot machine brings it out, which was pretty cute. The bowl was great. It literally was perfect and it taste very fresh. It had white rice with some shredded veggies. And the chicken was so good definitely fresh ! I will be back !!

*this place is a hidden gem as a studying spot w/ a restaurant. i don't use the word hidden gem often but this place has been underneath my nose for a long time. emphasis on the studying spot since they have wifi, comfortable couches, good lighting and asian jazz music playing. food wise, it delivered, spicy pork over rice was my fav. however when i visited yesterday, i did so with the intention of dinner. after my visit yesterday, i will make this my go to spot for studying and going all in on the desert and teas

As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by this kind gentleman who helped us order food. The ambience here is probably the best I've ever seen and the drinks were excellent!

I could taste that they were handmade and very flavorful. Second was the charcoal half chicken. The coconut rice was had a light coconut flavor which was good bc it didnt alter the taste of the chicken. I'd skip on the salad and minced beef noodles next time. The noodles were a lil too thick n chewy for me. Salad was nothings special, just eating large chunks of cabbage. The Sparrow Mallorc was also really good and refreshing, not overly sweet. The egg tarts had a creamy delicious custard and the dough was fluffy like a croissant, not crisp like pie. I prefer crisp but would still recommend. I also got the chai carrot cake which is really good. The chai spice compliments the sweetness well and walnut chunks add nice texture . I want to try all their desserts at Bird Bird Bakery bc the flavors are so unique and actually really good, unlike other bakeries that try to use interesting flavors but make it overly sweet. The staff were chill and kind. Pretty laid back, you have to get your own utensils and water. I do love that they have their own hot sauces. The brown one with tamarind was my favorite. Nice decos, not overly showy or fancy. Still family friendly n chill. The bench had nice comfy cushions.

They serve the special burger for brunch as well as limited timing at night, so obviously we had to order that. Honestly, there were at least 4 mains that we were interested in, but ended up getting the avocado three layer dip and the kalbi steak & eggs as well. The avocado dip was so interesting, but I liked a new twist on your average avo toast. I appreciated the toasted bread for being crispy enough without being too hard that it cuts up your mouth. The kalbi was so tender and juicy and a pretty decent portion for the price! I wish the kimchi breakfast potatoes had more kimchi flavor! We made the mistake of eating the burger last. It was still delicious, but I know it would've been 10 times better if we ate it while it was hot. Beware of those jalapeños though! The burger had every flavor: sweet, salty, spicy, tangy, creamy. Basically something for everyone. Service was prompt and friendly despite it being totally packed in there! Reservations are definitely a MUST. Free parking all down the street was also a plus!

Milwaukee Ave. The green awning and outdoor seating had always caught my eye, so I was excited to finally go in. The interior is beautiful, warm greens, gold accents, and comfortable booth-style seating that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. The staff was attentive, friendly, and consistently checked in throughout the night. Bigsuda is a Korean fusion restaurant. I love Korean food and have even spent time living in Korea, so I was curious to see their take. The menu is descriptive and does include some illustrations, and I later noticed there are more photos available online, which can be helpful when deciding what to order. One thing to note: the menu leans heavily on pork, and vegetarian options are somewhat limited. Some dishes can be modified (like ordering fried rice without shrimp), but several broths and signature items, including the soup dumplings, are pork-based. As someone who doesn't eat pork, I wasn't able to try one of the main dishes I came in for, which was a bit disappointing. Expanding options here could make the experience more inclusive. Here's what we ordered: Cabbage Tofu Pocket - Fresh, earthy, and clean. The cabbage had a nice juiciness, and the sauce tied everything together well. It's served cold, which was unexpected, but still enjoyable. Pan-Seared Veggie Mandoo - A fun presentation, served upside down with a crisp, pancake-like crust. Breaking into it was part of the experience, and the sauce complemented it nicely. Wok-Fired Steak Saltado - The standout of the night. The steak and rice paired really well and leaned into that Korean-fusion flavor. It was hearty, flavorful, and great for sharing. My friend also tried the shrimp dumplings and crab with chili sauce, which she felt were just okay. One highlight for both of us was the Peach Mong (a non-alcoholic drink with peach, citrus, and tonic), definitely worth trying. Overall, Bigsuda really shines in its atmosphere. It's a great place to sit, talk, and enjoy the ambiance, and the service adds to that experience. While the food didn't completely wow us across the board, there were definitely some strong moments. I had a great time overall, and with a few more inclusive menu options, this place could easily level up even more. 3 out of 5 stars.

The seafood pancake was good, with lots of shrimp and calamari pieces in it, but way too many scallions for our tastes. I can appreciate the variety of vegetarian and seafood dishes, as we were here during Lent. I also like that the spicier dishes were clearly noted. Not an extensive menu but just enough choices for everyone in our party to enjoy, even if the majority of dumplings contained meat. Very good service and beautiful atmosphere too.

The portion size was gigantic, but the japchae itself consisted mostly of vegetables (carrots, onions, bokchoy, and of course mushrooms) so it was easy enough to finish the portion in one sitting. Despite its size, the dish was extremely light and flavourful and I had enough room for cheesecake at a neighbouring establishment. My friend ordered the pork bento box, and though I don't eat meat, the arrangement and plating of the food was a beautiful visual spectacle. We shared the spiced fries that came with a creamy aioli dip - the fries were perfectly spiced but perhaps not unique to this restaurant in terms of quality and flavour. There were many dishes on the menu that looked like they were veganizable, so I will definitely try them when I return. The ambience was unremarkable, though the restaurant was very clean. You need to order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. The servers were very polite. The food is on the pricier end in the context of a somewhat characterless ambience and the fact that you need to order at the counter.
