Today was my first visit and I will be going back. Fantastic place! My nails are perfect and I am admittedly a challenging customer.

I was in desperate need of a mani/pedi. I hadn't been here in a while, but it was very convenient, so I decided to stop by. I was immediately impressed by the decor. Everything was clean, bright and fresh. It definitely had a spa look and feel. I didn't have an appt, but they took me right away. There were multiple options to choose from. I had a lavendar spa pedicure which I highly recommend. Helen did a wonderful job. She worked diligently to make my poorly cared for nails look marvelous.Great experience. I will be back! read more

Manicures Cary by nail tech, my two favorites are Sarah and Jane. Sarah recently did a great design on my nails and was open to trying something new, Jane has always always done wonderful work on my nails. Under new ownership, poor customer service and poor quality nail care. I have gone to Bella nails for several years now. Unfortunately, it's been several months since I have gone to have a manicure & pedicure and I now have the worst ever pedicure and my nails on my hands no longer have any shape. The tech, not really, didn't even know how to put the toe separators on, so a couple of toes now have polish on the sides. The owner asked me if I liked my nails, still stole my money and over 2 hours of my time in the chair,when I told him I was dissatisfied. He offered a redo tomorrow but who would want to chance another visit there! DO NOT GO THERE. read more

It's been years since I've gotten my nails done and I found 2 gift certificates from 2017. I brought them in and was happily surprised to find out they honor gift certificates no matter when they were purchased. Jane did a fantastic job on my SNS tips. Anytime I've gotten my nails done in the past, I usually end up chipping at least one of them within the first week, but these are still looking beautiful! Everyone is so friendly and polite. It's a smaller salon, so they take their time to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. Everything is clean and sanitary as well. If you are looking for an affordable place to get your nails done, I cannot recommend Bella enough! I will be back! read more

This has to be the worst customer service I have ever received. I just called to make an appt to be respectful and whoa what I got was hellish. She informed me a polish change would be $15+ for a French manicure and them filing them down and buffing. A polish change is $3+$7 for French manicure. She was so rude. The Best PART was as I was hanging up still trying to be the lady I was taught to be.... then she says "you know you called the Bella Salon in Pelham right? Like I was too low class. Im from Vestavia grew up and I felt discriminated against!!!! I was also going to be meeting 3 of my girlfriends up there and they do the whole works. To sum this up, I felt discriminated against and very disrespected. I hope she has a fabulous weekend working in her oh so exclusive and wonderful nail salon in Pelham! The guy who did my nails did not care about the outcome. I asked for a white SNS dip powder and he used a brush with left over red SNS on my left hand and then switched brushed for my right. That being said my left hand once finished turned out a light pink color while my right was a bright white. When i made the comment saying they were two different colors he rudely filed my left polish off and redid It but never cleaned the red off underneath making it really just a lighter pink. Both hands have two different colored whites now and i have a gross red powder underneath the White. Super gross to think they didnt even clean the brush. read more

They do a good job, the technicians are polite, and they have complimentary drinks! I availed myself of a diet coke the last visit--although I felt odd since I think no one else there did. The guy who did my gel manicure is a perfectionist which is good when it comes to nails, but be prepared for your manicure to take a heck of a long time. Honestly, I like this place and would be back if--I know this sounds crazy--their new chairs weren't so uncomfortable! they're modern low-backed chairs that look pretty and they probably just sunk a chunk of money into them, but they're so uncomfortable to sit in for a long period of time. A customer next to me too mentioned the same thing. You sort of slide out of them and can't sit comfortably at all! If I go back, it'll have to be for a pedicure! read more

I've been here multiple times, and it typically is very busy, but there have been 2 times that I've walked in and no one said a word to me or even acknowledged me for over 15 minutes, so I left. They also are very pushy about SNS, which I have told them I don't prefer because of the time it takes to put them on, the price, and that they don't last on my nails, and they don't stop pushing it until I give in...Needless to say, I won't be back again. read more

This salon was a terrible experience for me and I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake. The manicurists were rude --ignoring me after allowing my gels to soak for 20 mins and beginning to service customer who had come in after me. Tom, the manager, did nothing to correct this poor service and I was left feeling very poorly treated. I suggest that you stay far away from this rude and unprofessional establishment. read more

I took 3 of my granddaughters to get their nails done over spring break. One of my granddaughters got an older woman who was rough to the point of practically using the dremel down to the nail bed on one finger and chewing up the cuticles on half her fingers. I was getting a pedicure across the room and could tell my granddaughter was uncomfortable. I spoke up 3 times asking, "Are you okay?" The younger man doing my other granddaughter would then speak to the lady but without much change. The only English she spoke to my granddaughter was "don't move" in a harsh tone. We have daily applied neosporin ointment to my granddaughter's cuticles since the visit. Although the folks were good to fair, I will never go back. *Edit*went back for a manicure and polish change on the toes. They charge way too much for a polish change. I also asked for my manicure to be a pink with silver accent. Yup, nope. She painted the nail I wanted accented the color I wanted but then proceeded to paint the others the same color. I should have said something but I had already been there awhile and didn't want to deal with a redo. My nails aren't even completely covered with silver polish. Luckily I have pink polish at home and can make it look the way I had intended! Overall, very satisfied with the outcome of my pedicure. The staff was friendly and the salon was clean. They spent about an hour on a basic pedicure. A lot of the time was spent on leg massage and foot scrubbing. I am very ticklish on my feet so if they had cut back at least half the time they spent scrubbing the bottoms of my feet, I would have not held it against them! Giving 5 stars neck see most people probably wouldn't mind a long massage. I'm impatient and get bored easily. read more

Today was the first time I have ever been here because some co-workers referred me here. It started off okay people were nice but not very friendly. The girl that did my nails cut my finger, and then while using the dremel tool proceeded to use it so much and forcefully that it felt like my nail was burning off. I winced several times but she kept on going. There is a bubble in one of my nails, and even one of them tips is not attached to the nail itself. When I called back to see if I could come back and get them fixed the lady who answered the phone laughed at me. Needless to say I will not be back. read more

I did a search on OPI's website to find a place that uses their gel polish and found Bella. The shop is clean, usually fairly busy and the technicians are friendly. The gel manicure is great, Cindy does a fantastic job. The pedicure left a little to be desired, but the chairs were comfortable. And they worked hard to get my mani/pedi done in enough time to pick up my kids from school on time. The cost is fair, given the quality of work. I'll go again for sure. read more
