Update: Came in on Thursday and I must say. If it isn't Kelly doing my nails I know I'll be given a hard time. The guys there are sooo rude and nasty and very rough. They don't talk to you and just aggressively move your hand. I payed $17 for acrylic removal and a regular manicure. I didn't even get the full service yet had to pay full price. So unfair and the polish chipped a day later. The attitudes are unnecessary and most definitely not appreciated. I walked-in and Britney greeted me at the door, I told her what i wanted and sat me down at a station right away. (They do however, recommend you call and make an appointment). I had a Gel Manicure, I forgot the girls name, but she did an amazing job, and a Classic Spa Pedicure with callus remover done by Hannah, which btw is so sweet and gentle, I felt so at peace with her, for under $50. I called on a Tuesday, requesting a same day appointment. Jay (Jayden) answered and squeezed me into his schedule. I arrived 10min late!! and Jay was still able to accommodate me. (Sorry Jay!) I had an ombre pink and white set that needed a fill, but Jay had the challenge of using the more common baby pink powder, rather than the "hombre pink" which resembles more of a peach in my opinion. This was per my request as I wanted to change the "pink" that was already on my nails. Jay decided to start by sanding away much of the existing acrylic p&w hombre acrylic, removing the areas near the cuticle that were separating from my nail, (which he did very thoroughly). Then, he applied a thin white layer over the existing "hombre pink" (so that the line of old peach would not show through the new baby pink) At that point, Jay applied the requested pink and white powder. I was very impressed by Jay's attention to detail and control of his tools! He was gentle enough for me to even doze off a little. While shaping the nails, sanding, and filing, Jay would occasionally check the texture with the bottom of his thumb until he was pleased with the result. Periodically, he asked for my opinion/approval of the shape. I requested a thinner nail, so Jay removed a little from the underside. I requested a longer slope to the cuticle (less steep of a grade), and he politely adjusted the formation. After the top coat was applied, which thickens the nail a bit, I still felt that the transition from the nail to the cuticle was too much of a drop-off for my taste, but I'm still very impressed for a first visit! (I habitually let the nail grow out too far before getting a fill, so the smooth transition to my natural nail is more helpful for me when that happens). All nails began at the cuticle as they should, unlike some tech's who make the nails look like they've already grown out for a few days. I did not see any lop-sided angles on my coffin shape, as I have seen some tech's make one side more of an angle than the other. The top coat was applied all the way to the edges, with no lumps-- although, he did not paint the edge of the tip as I prefer and I forgot to say something. No biggy; it's just the clear top-coat. Looking at the shape from the side did not reflect any oddities/abnormalities either. Jay had a couple of sample 3D art nails hanging at his station. I thought the rose was made well, so I requested one on my ring finger. Jay improvised to use the regular white powder rather than what he usually uses because he is awaiting shipment. He forwarned me to not use those nails while washing hair as I chose the option to apply the 3D art on the top of the nail rather than under the top coat. As I was not getting a new set, I have no feedback as to the gentleness of removing acrylics or how straight the tips are applied. read more

I absolutely love this nail salon and refuse to go anywhere else! I lived in Orange County for awhile and when I moved to Riverside it took me awhile to find a place I liked. Once I found this place, I stopped looking! The entire staff is wonderful and always laughing and in a good mood which is a plus! Monica typically does my nails and her attention to detail and knowledge of different kinds of manicures, colors, etc. is outstanding! She really takes her time and even helps me out And is patient when I'm being extremely indecisive. A lot of salons really rush their work just to get to the next client, which is great to get in as many clients as possible, but the manicures don't last. Let me tell you, these ladies have attention to detail! They did an amazing job, took their time and really made sure my nails were to my liking, were so sweet, not rude whatsoever like you get at a lot of other nail salons in general. VERY reasonably priced. I will also add, admittedly I am picky when it comes to my nails. This salon is out of the way but it's somewhere I will make the trip because it's worth it. It's a little hidden gem in this business center. It's on the main boulevard and all the signs look very similar so when driving If you don't have your GPS you can easily miss it.
