From my experience as a boyfriend that had his girlfriend go to Bella this afternoon and 3 hours later I endthe one that getting an ear full because of her bad experience with Bella for not making the correct correction to her nails on her toes that was completely unacceptable in her eyes and of her liking. Called ahead to ask if they do Russian manicures, confirmed yes and during the appointment the service was far from it with no cuticle work or attention to detail. I asked to confirm we were doing Russian and the lady responded "I'm doing Russian, but I can call the service anything I want. I'll call it Japanese, French, my own method. If you found something you like more online go somewhere else". She was angry and stuck each hand under the UV lamp for ~5 seconds each hand and ran off mad. The days of pampering myself are few and far between, but my nails really need some TLC. Back in college when I got a bi-weekly manicure this location was my go-to spot. However, it wasn't until my recent visit that I realized the salon is now under new ownership. I walked in and could immediately tell the place had a make-over. It's bright, fresh, clean and up-to date. It's not a big space, but they make everything fit nicely with six pedicure chairs on the left wall, and six manicure desks on the right wall. In the past, I always just showed up for a walk-in appointment, so I assumed it would still be okay. Lo and behold it was! It was otherwise full but the one open spot was just for me :) I really enjoyed my nail tech, as she was so so sweet. We chatted the whole time of my appointment which took about 45 minutes. I came in for a manicure with gel polish which amounted to $38 -- very reasonable price in my opinion. She did a wonderful job filing them into the shape I like, and even helped me pick a color (because I'm very indecisive). I wouldn't hesitate to return! read more

The whole time she was doing my nails, I kept questioning that the polish wasn't going to the end and that the acrylic overlay was thick and didn't go To the edge either... After the Gel polish there was bubbles everywhere and the answer to that was to load layer and layers of more polish. When she went in for a 10th coat I said please don't and left. Bella Nail Spa is great! I had an appointment for a basic pedicure and a dip manicure, but got there hours early cause of some schedule changes. They were so accommodating and took me right away! I picked my nail colors. At first the lady doing my nails said the ones they brought would match. Some other worker came up and apparently they wouldn't match. He showed me a smaller group of colors to pick from so they would match. The match for both was perfect even though one was basic and the other dip. I'd definitely clarify before they start painting. The price was a little expensive ($85 total) but the quality so far seems worth it. They were all incredibly nice! They can't fully cover your nails in polish. My pedicure was mediocre/okay, my nails were awful. Got a dip, 4-5 times, she missed parts of my nail, covered it with gel then chipped off the gel and/or filed it off. Two hours, waste of time and money. Oh and my pinky was cut and my cuticles over trimmed. read more

Parts of my nail were missing nail polish, it was layered unevenly and thick on certain parts of the nail, and tools used did not come sterile. This is my first time at Bella nail spa. I will have to say, it started out interesting. Per normal, many of the text barely spoke english. I was going on vacation and because they're local, I decided to stop and check it out. I wanted to get acrylics and a pedicure. I repeatedly asked what the price is going to be and they wouldn't give me a price. I figured it wouldn't be that outstanding and it was my first time there and who knew if I would be back. Price and quality definitely are reasoning for making a future decision. Not to mention, customer service is number one. I tried to look for the color I wanted and they didn't have it. She kept trying to give me a color that was gel and I did not want gel. I must have said it 20 times between my toes and my nails. I had found a color that was similar and I thought that was the color they were going to use. I began to get my pedicure of course they were trying to make an up sale. I told them all I wanted was the typical pedicure and I did not want gel polish. I found out later, when I went back, to try to collect my money that the one that was pressing the gel polish is actually the owner. I was trying to relax with the massage chair, so to be honest I wasn't really paying attention because it was my toes. But all of a sudden I look up and I'm noticing that she's putting the gel polish on. I said I did not want the gel polish. The owner then said that it's not just gel it's a mix. So I said fine. I then went to go get my acrylics done by the owner. It was absolutely unbelievable. Not only does she not know how to do a French manicure, with understanding dimensions, she began to use the gel polish and I said I didn't want the gel polish she's like put your hand under here. I said I cannot believe this. I asked her to put a stripe across where the French manicure ended. She said it wasn't going to look right. I said I've had this done practically every single time I ever go and get my nails done. I have never had an issue with this before. Well let's just tell you, it look like complete and utter crap. When she got up while I was sitting there completing the last curing to go start another female's nails, I made a comment. I said look at this. She said oh it looks fine. I said oh you're trying to have me go out here looking rogue. I was absolutely furious. My nails look like crap. I also want to mention, while I was sitting there getting a service done that I had said repeatedly I did not want done. But now since she was already in process I just allowed it to happen because all I wanted to do was get out of there. There was a female that came in with her daughter. It was her second time in. She had said that she was noticing something on her nail. So when the nail got removed that was only from 2 weeks ago, there was fungus. She kind of got upset. But for whatever reason, like me, she decided to stay and said don't put any new nails on, just polish them. She had said that she just needed her nails to breathe. I already had the tip and everything ready and wasn't honestly thinking and I ended up even giving this goofball and additional $10 as a tip. I had gone to a couple of their businesses after that and they noticed the sparkling of my nails and made comment and then I showed them the nails and I said can you believe this and how much they cost. These businesses happen to be very local to the snail spot. They said I'm glad that you showed me because I was going to go in there and now I'm definitely not going to. There was another girl who happened to be a nail tech who was working at a hair salon and she just got upset over the fact that she felt like she wasn't charging as much as she could if that's the kind of work they're doing and that's the kind of money they're making. I definitely wasn't going to be going back. But I was completely and utterly upset. I phoned and I talked to the manager. Now remember at this time I don't know that she's the owner. So I had forgotten something at the salon and I decided to go back inside the nail salon and talk to the manager. He immediately wanted to get this individual to look at my nails. I said she's already seen the nails and she said that they were okay. He commented on how they weren't okay. so at that point I left. I called the next day I said this is unacceptable. I am going on vacation. I don't have time to go back in there and quite honestly I don't even want to go back in there. He said either you can come back in here and she can fix them or we will just give you your money back. To get to the bottom line. She said there is no way that she was going to give me my money back and that she would fix the nails if I came back in. Here's my problem with that. First of all she knew that my nails look like crap. Second, the manager which I found out is her husband, said that I could get my money back. I went to get a gel manicure on Friday afternoon (6/21) and the appointment went smoothly. When Sunday rolled around I began to notice a painful spot on the side of my index finger. I didn't have any previous cuts/wounds there. As the day went on this began to worsen and completely blew up overnight. I had to see 2 doctors to get antibiotics and get it drained. This was overall very uncomfortable and painful. I called to inform the salon and was told that they take sanitization and sterilization very seriously. Although, after going there several times before this incident I had never seen my tools being removed from a sterilization bag. Safe to say that I will not be back to this establishment as well as many other people that I know have been there before. I do not want anyone else to go through that. The ladies are extremely rude here. The first girl who did my nails did a good job but seemed like she was frustrated with the complicated nails I wanted. Then I had to come back to fix the polish on 2 nails because I messed up the polish. So a different girl was fixing them and using the wrong colors and doing the design different so I had to stop her and say they looked nothing like my other nails. She pushed back in her chair and said "I dont have time for you" !! After I told her it was ok she could just skip the design part then sat on her phone on a pedicure chair doing nothing while the girl who originally did my nails then fixed them. Dip nails are supposed to be done by putting the powder in a separate jar rather than dipping fingers into the container that everyone else's fingers have been in all day. I wanted no-chip nails but they said they didn't have that and suggested dip as alternative. I decided to roll the dice due to my schedule, I know it will cost $20, but it is what it is. I'm not going to have them removed here. My nails are really bothering me. And their lack of concern for basic hygiene is gross. read more

Beware of them assigning an amateur nail technician to provide your services. This lady completely ruined my nail as well as cut me with the drill. She failed to shape my nails so they are lumpy. She also did a totally poor job of painting them as pictured below. She did not speak English which created an even bigger situation. At times when I attempted to explain to her what was wrong with my nails she would say OK but not correct the problem. At the end of the service I asked the lady who I observed carrying herself in a management type position to look at my nails. She said that she would fix them but instead she just polished over the problems and didn't listen to my request either. Two stars because they're fast, always accept walk-ins, and are somewhat inexpensive compared to the nicer salons in the area. Unfortunately, they're fast because they rush. Not only did my dip set take less than 40 minutes, the tech cut my cuticles until they bled and did one single coat of dip powder before "shaping" and applying the clear coats. My nails are so thin it's like I'm wearing regular polish and the shape is horrible. Definitely quantity over quality. read more

I had toes and nails done and the women. That did them was rushed, rough, and did a terrible job. Polish not on entire nail, top coat all over my cuticles. I had to have another person try to fix and all she did was polish over the mess. So I left there with 5 coats of polish, which obviously if you know anything about polish, will never dry! I had a 1230 pm appt. I had to go back at 6pm to have them fix again. They made me wait 40 mins. Then proceeded to paint over again, I had to tell who I think is one of the owners to please take off and start over. Maybe 8 hrs. Later the sides are peelingpeeling the tips of nails are missing polish and they look terrible. This is an embarrassment. What a waste of $$$$ and more importantly time. not to mention the place is not clean, the walls have missing paint they are dirty, the Techs areas are dirty and dusty, I don't think they clean anything between guests. It was crazy busy which is totally fine if I had to wait, however my nail tech rushed so fast through the entire manicure. Did not realize how bad the paint job was on my nails was until I got home. It got to the point that customers were yelling because instead of just finishing someone's nails they would get up in the middle of someone's nails and start someone else's. If you say anything about what they are doing they start speaking to each other in their language it's extremely unprofessional and rude. It's dirty implements are filthy. I asked gentleman to not file that way after talking in their language about my request he tells me I'm very sensitive maybe I shouldn't get overlay. Instead of simply adjusting file. He previously did my nails I thought I was being sensitive that visit but realize he's a bit rough. I respect they speak their language as it's comfortable for them but feels very rude and uncomfortable will not return and would not recommend.
