[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great breakfast wonderful place to eat great ambiance for sure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] all of the waitresses are very up beat and sweet. Went in Charlie Kirk's birthday to enjoy pancakes and honor Charlie. My wife had the short stack (2) pancakes, with deep fried bacon which she really enjoyed. Also had biscuit on the side. I had the Big Blue Breakfast, pancakes (2), sausage (2), eggs (2) over medium, and home fries. Eggs cooked perfectly as they should be, home fries spot on. Marie, was our waitress and did a wonderful job and she suggested the deep fried bacon to my wife which will now be her favorite. Great place do not miss this place.

Food was great. Service was excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Little, warm, homey, country diner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Wide variety of menu selections. Well priced. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Various sized groups here when we arrived spanning the generations, which was awesome to enjoy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be back!

Bella Blue 05-29-25 Great little Café. Nice size café with friendly atmosphere. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our waitress was Debbie. Very friendly. She explained the menu to us and took our order. They have a rather large menu and everything on the menu is served all day! We started with Fried Mushrooms with ranch and fried pickles with ranch. They were brought to our table fresh and hot. They had a crunchy batter and soft inside. I'd go back just to try the other appetizers! My grandson had a Double Cheeseburger with Bacon and fries. The fries were fresh and delicious. It had two 1/2 lb patties! It was huge. Burger was flavorful and made fresh. I had the Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast with Hash-browns, Biscuits, and two over medium eggs. The steak was overcooked and a little on the crispy side. The steak was hand battered and had a good taste. Like I said it was just overcooked. We all have off days and the Steak was having a off day! I will be back and look forward to trying more items on the menu. Oh, we also split a short stack! The pancakes were soft and warm. The butter melted and the syrup made them a delicious treat! Overall I was very pleased and enjoyed my meal. Me and my grandson both look forward to another visit. Everything was great except for my poor Overcooked Chicken Fried Steak. Not a deal breaker!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cute little diner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've eaten here about 2 times so far, never really disappointed. I have gotten the Big Blue breakfast; ALWAYS GET THE WAFFLE!! My boyfriend has gotten the pancakes and/ or French toast; they are both meh. The home fries and eggs are meh; very skimpy and usually over cooked. But the coffee has been fresh, staff is friendly and patient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have super cute knick knacks and a Texas flag mural inside[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I got it with mashed potatoes and fried okra. I think the only negative if I had to list one is they charge an extra $2 for simply getting gravy on mashed potatoes or if you got a baked potato there is an extra charge for each individual topping instead of just making it one price. This is definitely a place worth the stop if you're in the area.

My wife had the special, Beef stew with Corn Bread. The catfish was very good and tasty both sides were good. The beef stew left a lot to be desired my wife was looking forward to it. Then she started picking out the meat with all the fat and grizzle on it, which ended up being 85% of all the meat in the bowl. we told the waitress about it and she seemed put off about it. She told the cook and the manager. A little while later she brings a small bowl out with " what she said the cook said had lean meat on it." the first three pieces I took off had more grizzle on it. Sorry not cutting it, the manager never came over to the table to say anything or acknowledge the problem. A little concern would have been nice. went to pay the bill and the girl at the register said she could charge me half price for the food. I guess that is the best they can do, so it would seem all they want is your money and not trying to fix the problem. we will never cross this threshold again wishing you the best in the future.

Big building with spacious dining areas, outdoor space, and the pickleball courts of course. There's also an upstairs area that's exclusively for members. The interior and exterior design is exceptional. Very clean and pleasing to the eye. Welcome to All - not just pickleballers! High end liquors with experienced mixologists. Great cocktail list. Wine list was pretty short but had some good bottles on it. Brunch food was good. The breakfast croissant sandwich was hard to handle and fell apart but tasty. The Southern Poutine was hearty and comforting (sausage in lieu of cheese curds) The bartender was exceptional-knowledgeable, engaging, and attentive. Would love to see a broader wine list with greater range. Was disappointed they didn't have the fireplaces on especially since it's been so cold. A nice fireplace would have really elevated the experience by adding a cozy atmosphere. Also, they have a fruit fly problem.

The boxcar Burger meal included a tasty beef patty with lettuce and tomato under the Patty and a large bun. The french fries were tasty and seemed to be made to order which was impressive. Service was extremely good with wait staff coming to check frequently during the meal. The door to the restaurant stays open so if someone comes in it doesn't immediately shot which can be a little bit annoying. Since you were in a real road station you get that feel and almost anticipate a train coming down the line which can be a lot of fun. There are also some old rail cars located near the dining area. The okra was incredibly good and tasted as if it was freshly made. The large onion slice over the bun was also fun.

They also have a nice outside area which would be nice in spring/summer time. Our waitress was Riley who has been with them for 2 years and was very knowledgeable about the menu. She was spot on the whole night. Had our drinks my wife the Appleton and I had Dewars and soda. Bartender knows their stuff and does not skimp. Appetizers were Risotto Tots, Very good, also to large crab cake with remoulade sauce, excellent. Shrimp scampi was excellent and very filling. They have a very diverse menu for varying appetites. Since it's a small space and echoey, we could not hear ourselves over the group of people talking. Drinks: We started with the Queen Bee cocktail and a red wine. The cocktail was good but I didn't feel the mixture of flavors worked well for my taste. I can't recall the name of the wine but it was a nice wine to pair with red meat. Appetizers: we started with the fried green tomatoes and the Caesar wedge salad. The tomatoes were a little bland and came out cold (not sure if that was on purpose?). The wedge was good but was slathered in dressing which made it a little too rich. *Side note: I realized after we left that complimentary bread was mentioned on the appetizer menu, but I'm unclear if we had to ask for that...? It was never offered nor brought out. I decided against ordering the French baguette because I assumed there was complimentary bread. Entrees: I had the Ravioli Diablo and my husband tried the Sea Bass special that came with clams, mussels and lobster ravioli. The Ravioli Diablo was just OK, kind of a small portion. For the special, he liked the mussels but thought the sea bass was a little overdone. In hindsight, there was a lot going on with that plate; the ravioli was a bit out of place and it could've used a nice risotto or rice instead. Dessert: we tried ordering Creme brulee but they were out so we ordered the "brown butter" cheesecake instead...I'm including the description from the menu and a picture of the bare cheesecake loaf I received with no toppings (I took the picture after my husband took a bite). I'm actually most disappointed about this since I was hoping it would be the part of the meal to make up for the mediocrity of everything else. "Vanilla bean brown butter with candied pecans and soft whipped cream" Honestly I tried to be optimistic but it was overall not the experience I was hoping for. Especially for a $200 bill.
