I have been charged the free teeth cleaning a total of 0 times. Somehow I go into this place for my teeth cleaning evaluation, and they always charge me for some other service. It is one thing if they told me ahead of time... but it is often after the work has been done. This has happened tp me here more than once. They do a great job cleaning your teeth. I am just disappointed in how they handle their billings and sales tactics. What an amazing, beautiful and modern dental office. This location is probably the cleanest most modern dental office I have ever seen. Dr. Pawlowski is a kind, gentle, and highly skilled practitioner. He has been practicing dentistry for nearly 40 years--first as a general dentist, before specializing in periodontics. This allows him to approach cases not just from a periodontist, but also from the perspective of a practicing restorative dentist as well. It's this unique perspective that make me confident that he truly understands all angles of treatment from beginning to finish. I had a relatively minor concern, but the thoughtfulness and thoroughness with which Dr. Pawlowski approached my case is evident of the approach he takes to all cases--big and small. Due to a tooth issue I've been struggling with for years, it's inevitable that I will need an implant an some point, and I have no hesitation to come to Dr. Pawlowski for the procedure. The staff at the office are all very kind and professional as well. I will not hesitate to come back here for further treatment. Finally, a go-to dental office that makes me actually enjoy going to the dentist! Dr. Cho and his team are absolutely fantastic. They are extremely thorough and detail-oriented. After my first exam, Dr. Cho took the time to show me my x-rays and explain everything to me in detail, while answering very specific questions I had. This helped me gain trust in him as a dental expert, as he broke everything down very clearly and eloquently. During dental work, he and his team are always careful and cognizant of their patients' needs. They're always on the lookout for any indications of pain, and as soon as they see any, they stop and remedy the situation. Again, this increased my trust in them. Dr. Cho is also a humorous, kind person so it's very easy to talk and connect with him. He's the first dentist to get me to actually care about my dental health and floss every day--amazing, right!? After I told Dr. Cho I frequently get canker sores, he recommended toothpastes without sodium laurel sulfate to me, which actually did the trick! My mouth has been canker-sore-free since following Dr. Cho's recommendations. He also explains flossing in a way that makes sense: if you don't floss, you're only cleaning 3 out of 5 sides of each tooth, which is a pretty bad ratio. The dental office has a free whitening program, where you get whitening trays just for taking care of your dental health (2 cleanings a year). Love this idea! Their referral system is also set up well, as any patient you refer receives $50 off their dental work and you get a Starbucks gift card after their first exam. I am not satisfied with Dr. Pawlowski's work or his office etiquette. I was a patient for over two years, but most of that time was spent correcting mistakes. I would not recommend his work for periodontal procedures. I had a front tooth that required an implant and gum graft. After my first follow up appointment I was pulled into a side room and was told that the doctor had to perform more work than anticipated and thus there would be an additional change for the already completed procedure. I paid the additional charges. This felt like a sleezy car repair tactic. After several months the gum graft results did not meet my expectations, I had a "black triangle" between my teeth that I did not have prior to the implant. Dr. Pawlowski said something to the effect, "if I was woman looking in the mirror a lot I might not like my smile, but it's fine to me." That type of commentary is inappropriate. Dr. Pawlowski agreed that the results did not meet his expectations and agreed to fix the procedure. We both agreed that there should be no additional charges for this procedure. While Dr. Pawlowski did not charge me out of pocket his office did change the maximum amount against my insurance, using up my entire benefit for 2017. The procedure was not successful. Dr. Pawlowski said the issue was because of my Type 1 Diabetes. I have had diabetes for more than a decade and have never had a dentist blame anything on my diabetes before. Dr. Pawlowski's recommendation to fix the black triangle was another procedure to file down the tooth adjacent to my implant and place a cap on it to occupy the empty space. This is a perfectly fine tooth and placing a cap is not permanent. This would require additional procedures for life to maintain a cap. This was early in 2017 and I stopped seeing Dr. Pawlowski at that time. read more

Not at all transparent! I visited the clinic first time for a regular checkup and regular cleaning. Doctor said my teeth are 4+/5. At the receptionist, I am charged an exorbitant fee of $1182. Some of it got covered by my insurance but I still had to pay out of pocket. The reason for those charges was I had undergone deep cleaning and not regular cleaning. Even if that were the case (which it wasn't), I wasn't informed of it beforehand. read more

I have been going to see Dr. Adrian for a few years now and I could not be happier (if going to the dentist makes you happy.. smh) - I came to his care as a referral for my advance perio problems.. aka Bad Gums.. I was so impressed and comfortable with him, that he is my regular dentist now. :) He probably wouldn't want me to say this, but I even got him to put in my bridge earlier this year (that's not something he usually does). At first, they asked me where I wanted to get it done.. and I was like HERE of COURSE.. at this point I really don't see myself with any other dentist. He can come across as an authoritative disciplinarian but that is based in a passion about his craft,, and probably because I needed get my act together to save all my teeth. However, at the end of the day he is very gentle.... especially when he needs to be... when he is in your mouth!! :) He has a very CLEAN and PROFESSIONAL office and Staff. There is an genuine interest in my care. Although, appointments are finite, I never feel rushed. He has the latest technology and equipment. One item that is especially dear to me is the HEATED WATER TANK on the rinse tool and the waterpik (sonic cleaning device) . This might not sound like a big deal, but if you have sensitive teeth, that cold water is not your friend. VERY GOOD!! Although the office is downtown Seattle, they do offer a $5.00 parking validation, which means most visits will cost $3 in parking. read more

I just want to express my total dissatisfaction with Dr. Pawlowski's scheduling service and dental procedures. Me and my family were a loyal customer and we loved our dental hygienist Paula's service for many years and our two children were always happy to see her out there. She was the only reason we didn't mind driving from Lynnwood to downtown Seattle for our cleaning. She is very friendly and very professional. However, on April 23, 2019 we were so unhappy that the way the front desk people plus the so-called Business Manager (Janet P.) treated us. We (myself and two of our children) were scheduled for cleaning on April 23,2019 at 5:00PM and about a week before that I called their office and trying to see if I could reschedule our children's appt and couldn't find the date we wanted and didn't say to cancel the original appt for April 23 and actually told her to keep that appt On April 23. The reason I wanted to reschedule it was that our son had a sport activity which conflicted with the appt however since I couldn't find a better day I decided for him to cancel his sport activity and to do his dental cleaning so that day I left work early in downtown Seattle and drove to Shoreline to pick the children from School and our son canceled his sport activity and we rushed back Seattle fighting heavy traffic and finally we made it to their office and when we try to check in the front desk lady said you are not on schedule and we don't have any opening for you. It was so saddening to hear that after my son canceled his important sport activity and after spending three hours on the road to hear that our appt is canceled. When I called the front desk to reschedule our appointment I told the front desk lady that I am trying to see if I could reschedule to a better date for us however after finding out that they didn't have a better schedule which would work for our family I told her to keep our April 23 appointment date and I told her I will work around our schedule just keep what we have and I don't know why she canceled our appt. after hearing the front lady that we are not on schedule I wanted to complain to the manager and requested to talk to their manager And the Business manager named Janet P came to talk to us, and she was not professional about hearing me and she just said is its simple error her office made and she didn't even appologize for that . And Myself and our two children weren't happy the way she treated us and told her we are leaving you and look for a better service at another dentist and she didn't care she said that is fine go ahead! Also My wife was never satisfied with Dr. Pawlowski's work. On one of her dental Implant procedures he did many mistakes like when he put the screw before the implant the screw wasn't put in correctly it came out on side of her gum poking her internal cheek and caused her a lots of excruciating pain and when she went back for a fix while he was fixing the screw he chipped one of her healthy teeth. On that implant procedure from the begining until the end most of the time was spent doing more mistakes and causing more pain and he didn't even do anything to correct any of the mistakes he made, now it is costing us a lot of money to correct it at our current dentist. And for the faulty implant procedure we paid Dr Pawlowski a lots of out of pocket money and he did charge the maximum amount against our insurance for that year. We would not recommend his work for implant procedures at all. We are not satisfied with Dr. Pawlowski's work and his office etiquette and I discussed this with our family and friends (my coworkers at City of Seattle which are their customers as well) about the way how we were treated and the worst implant procedure my wife got. I have been going to Bell Harbor Dental for about 4 years now but today had absolutely exceptional service I wanted to share. A few weeks ago I bit my lip (hard) while on vacation. Over the following couple weeks I developed a mucocele (lump) on my lower inner lip that became extremely irritating and large. I finally called Bell Harbor at 10:30am on 6/21 and Dr. Natalia was able to see me only an hour later at 11:30am to evaluate my sore. Dr. Natalia was extremely knowledgeable about the sore and drained the sore right then and there. Dr. Pawlowski is without a doubt the best oral surgeon I have ever come across. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and good at what he does, but he is compassionate, kind, and caring. He took the time to talk to me about my wisdom teeth pain, performed the surgery on the same day, and followed up with me for the next two and a half weeks. I cannot say enough positive things about Bell Harbour! I was originally referred to Dr. Pawlowski for some gum issues I was having after a long journey of TMJ correction, ortho, and veneers from a TMJ specialist/orthodontist I was seeing. From the minute I walked into the office, I felt at ease and knew I was in great hands. Dr. Pawlowski is extremely knowledgeable and first took a conservative approach to see if things would heal but I ended up and had to have minor crown lengthening done to solve for my issues. Dr. P did a pristine job and the entire process was seamless! The team took great care of me leading up, the day of, and post surgery. I could not be more pleased with the end result - he did an immaculate job!! I was also in the market for a general dentist so decided to schedule an exam and cleaning with Dr. McAninley and her team a few months later. Dr. P as he is affectionally become known to my spouse and I has twice responded to our family periodontal emergencies with timely quality care. He uses IV sedation which pretty much made it painless with virtually minimal downtime. Nicole caught an insurance issue that saved us substantial money. Paula his hygienist is detailed when cleaning. I used to be afraid of getting my teeth clean, that I would ask my prior dentist for gas to get thru it. After being involved in an incident involving blunt force trauma to the face, I was in an unfortunate situation which required a crown implant. The implant procedure was performed with IV sedation and the only pain I experienced was the urge I had to go to the bathroom because I drank too much water pre-op. Furthermore, Dr. Pawlowski noticed I had bad receding gums. An additional gum grafting procedure was suggested and I'm glad I went through with it! Surprised at how fast gums heal. I went in for an emergency wisdom tooth extraction. Was pleasantly greeted by a Nicole, Angelina and Syvee - all very courteous and super professional. Dr. Pawlowski is as good as it gets. He went over the procedure and all my options. I'm the typical squeamish patient and was very apprehensive and everyone made me feel super comfortable and assured. Removed all my anxiety. The procedure itself was completely painless. I was so surprised at the fact that I really had zero pain, not even a dull pain during the healing process. Didn't need any medication what's so ever. To me this is more talent than science. Very little post op bleeding that only lasted an hour or so. I was back at work the next morning. This is my second visit with Dr. Pawlowski (another extraction a few years ago) and I can't rave enough about my experience. I go out of my way to refer friends and family. read more

I was looking for some full mouth reconstructive surgeries so I scheduled five separate consultation with the top people in the Seattle area, including Bell Harbor. All did exactly the same thing, other than the initial consult which did the x-rays. Every single one of the others charged me $100.00 for their 10 minutes of work - which was fair. I went to Bell Harbor expecting the same, was I ever surprised to get my bill which was $250.00. OVER TWICE the fee for the same 'expertise'. Needless to say they were not my choice for my procedure. So, if you want to pay 2.5 TIMES as much as you would anywhere else, feel free to choose them. Today they called to collect, and I offered them the fair and equitable payment that the others charged, and they refused and sending me to collection. Nice.... read more

This is my home away from home! I have always hated the dentist and have had some bad dental experiences, but this place has restored my faith in the dental field. I had failed root canals that were making me quite ill and other dentists I went to had no sense of urgency to help me. I called bell harbor on a whim based off good reviews. Janet answered the phone and was immediately compassionate and was willing to try and fit me in that same day, if she could. Dr. P is so good at what he does and you can tell he is really interested in his field. He is also hilarious and has the best sense of humor. I am a very phobic and sensitive person (overly)and everyone there goes above and beyond to make me feel safe and well taken care of, without making me feel crazy! Dr. Mac (nickname) the newer dentist there, is my new favorite dentist. She is genuine and up front and also has a great sense of humor. I've never laughed so much at the dentist before coming to Bell harbor. She is always concerned about my pain level and goes out of her way to make sure I am comfortable. After two years of being a patient, it's time to move on, however, not before I give them a great review! The entire staff is great and works hard to give patients a really good experience. I have been pleased with all aspects of service and care from the office staff, the hygienist, Paula to the Dr. Pawlowski! Dr. Pawlowski is very personable, professional, experienced, and takes time to take good care of his perrio patients. My husband sees him as a specialist and he is very satisfied. I saw Dr. Pawlowski as a regular dental patient until he hired a general dentist, Dr. Cho, who I also was pleased with. Now, there is a new general dentist since I hear Dr. Cho has left to start his own practice. While a patient there, the best part of my visit hands down was having my teeth cleaned by Paula, the hygienist! She is everything! Excellent at cleaning teeth, very compassionate, very personable, and a great representative for the dental office! She obviously loves her job and it shows; she also is very skilled and confident which made me feel like I was in very capable hands! I can't say enough about the caring way in which Paula cares for her patients and does it with a great sense of humor; she listens well especially when treating the sensitive areas of my gums. I did have one mishap with insurance billing from the office however it was handled very professionally, promptly and the staff was very helpful in correcting the issue with my ins. company. When I became a patient, they offered a nice incentive for referrals which I was very happy to receive and apply as a credit to my services! Let me start by saying I just got out of a long relationship with my prior dental clinic, I thought I was happy in that relationship until I found out about the lies, deceit and inexperience. I was in a bad situation, safe to say I had to break up with them. Thought that I would be single for a minute but had to fix what my ex-dentist messed up. Came to Bell Harbour with my guard up. Met Paula and she made me tear up (during the 30 or so x-rays. lol) Thought to myself, "I think I like her." But I thought the same at the beginning of my prior relationship so figured I should take it slow, don't want to get hurt again. She introduced me to Dr. Pawlowski who is very knowledgeable. He was explaining what was going on in my mouth and the procedure I was going to have (just kept shaking my head yes as if I understood lol). Apparently myself, Paula and him were in for a threesome, at this point I thought, what do I have to loose. So fast forward to the day of the threesome, I arrive a little nervous, I think they slipped me a mickey because I don't remember much. Dr. Pawloski checked on my not too long after, What a gentleman. lol. I've seen Paula a few times after and came to the decision that this is the one, I'm ready to settle down and don't wish to see anyone else. I'm a firm believer in monogamy but came to the realization that she's going to see other people and I'm ok with that. That's how great she is. She even convinced me that will have another threesome on our next date with Dr. Cho, code word she used was checkup. I had a billing problem that lasted for years. It was a nightmare. The previous office manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. Then, one day, Janet called and told me they had fired the previous office manager and discovered that a potential error had occurred with my account. She sent me a check for the amount I had paid to collections, and even called the collection agencies and told them to remove it from my credit report. The nightmare with the collection agencies didn't end there. Janet stayed on top of it for over a year, getting aggressive and making things right. I've never experienced anything like that from ANY company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Pawlowski to my friends or family. Even if an error occurs, at any level of your visit, you are guaranteed to be dealing with a business that honestly cares about being ethical and taking care of all patients, in every way possible. From my first phone call I felt I had made the right choice in dental offices. Right before I moved to Seattle my previous dentist recommended I see a periodontist. I found Dr. Pawlowski on my insurance website. Imagine my surprise, a periodontist that is in network with my insurance! When I first called, I spoke with Nicole. She helped schedule my first appointment and emailed the paperwork. The paper work is fillable so you can complete it and email it right back. That was great because I always forget my forms at home on the day of my appointments. First appointment was very nice and comfortable. I found Dr. Pawlowski to be very easy to talk to and understand. I met with Nicole after my appointment where she went over the recommended treatment plan, what my insurance would cover, how much my portion would be and scheduled my surgery. I don't remember much about the day of surgery as they sedate you for surgery. Dr. Pawlowski's assistant called to check in on me the next day, my recovery was relatively painless and I am more than pleased with the results. After this great experience I was pleased to discover that they also have a general dentist working in the office. Since I needed a dentist in Seattle I decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Cho. My first appointment was 2 hours long! At first I thought this was excessive but I never had a more complete exam! Dr. Cho spent plenty of time talking with me about my concerns and his recommended course of action to care for those concerns. Paula cleaned my teeth. She was very gentle and catered to my cleaning fears . She gave me home care advice but I never felt lectured. Another great experience at Bell Harbour Dental. I came to see dr.Pawlowski for what I thought was going to most likely be a root canal and crown, but after sitting with him and listening to the pros and cons, I ended up getting an implant. I have dealt with an embarrassing fear of dentists historically, even to the point where I needed medication just to have a cleaning, but Dr.Pawlowski and his staff took all of the stress out of my experiencing and really turned it into a situation where I felt like we were making a plan together to get the work done. I'm a nurse and knowing that conscious sedation and oral surgeries come along with risks, I was very impressed with the level of knowledge and care that I received. Dr.pawlowski's office also helped me see what kind of financial options were available to me and I was able to apply for care credit right on the spot. I went to see Dr. Pawlowski on referral from my primary dentist who was concerned about periodontal disease and said Dr. Pawlowski was the best. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Dr. Pawlowski provided a thorough assessment, deep periodontal cleaning, started me on low dose antibiotics, and made some recommendations to improve my oral hygiene. I returned for follow-up care 2 more times. Dr. Pawlowski reassessed my condition and informed me that things had improved to the extent that I no longer needed periodontal care! Frankly I was impressed by his conservative and ethical approach. It would have been very easy for him to justify continued deep cleanings at considerable expense and inconvenience. However, he clearly was motivated by providing the best care not his bottom line. As a physician, I come to the clinical encounter with a different set of expectations and view the care through the provider lens. From the courtesy of the office staff to the meticulous care and high standard of professionalism demonstrated by Dr. Pawlowski, I recommend his services to patients and colleagues alike and will return to see him should I need periodontal care again. read more

Wished I would have come here in the first place...now I know for the future. Dr. Adrian and his staff resolved my 2 year annoying pain (bad dental work by someone else) by taking the time to understand root cause and then performing an implant. They also fixed my improperly fitted night guard (bad dental by someone else) which was causing me TMJ issues. I really appreciated their ability to calm my nerves and put me at ease without making me feel like an idiot. They took the time to explain everything (including the xrays and the bill) in a way I could understand (once again without making me feel like an idiot). I saw Dr Pawlowki for 3 implants and ongoing perio maintenance for over a decade - continuing to see him even tho I stopped working downtown and had many more convenient options. I was very satisfied with his clinical work, although my husband and others were less satisfied. What the ultimate dealbreaker for me was, his office staff charged me for a broken appointment - when I had called AND emailed two days prior to reschedule. I asked the staff person to speak with Dr Pawlowski directly about it, but - apparently $75.00 is more important than a relationship with a patient. But I guess something has to pay for full-page color spreads in local magazines (featuring the same staff who charged me the fee). read more

My dentist had been bugging me about getting gum surgery for months and referred me to Adrian Pawlowski at Perioinnovations. I have receding gums and had to get surgery to fix that problem before it got any worse! While I was seriously dreading the surgery, Adrian and his team treated me wonderfully and did everything they could to make sure I felt comfortable and safe. I felt very little pain after the surgery and my gums are now healing beautifully! I was very impressed by the kindness and compassion exerted by everybody at Perioinnovations. They answered every question I had (even the ridiculous ones :) ) and made sure that I had everything that I needed and more.
