It wasn't until I called my referring dentist to complain about the lack of customer service that I finally got a quote the next day. **if you're gonna read a review, read this one** *** save…read moreyour money and time -- go anywhere else but here *** the shadiest most unprofessional and uncommunicative service i have ever received. i got braces from dr. smita patel as a youth and needed to get new bottom retainers as they had gone missing. i intended to get the same clear retainer that i had been using. upon my appointment, a permanent retainer was inserted without prior confirmation to the type of retainer that will be used, nor any communication throughout. dr. smita patel rushed the entire process of me paying for the clear retainer i was anticipating, where even the receptionist "laura" admitted the following day when i called for a removal that she was also under the impression that i was getting the clear retainer. hm ... common denominator? dr. patel was being hasty, uncommunicative, and unclear. the day of me thinking i was going to pick up my clear retainer, laura did not seem to communicate my appointment to dr. patel as dr. patel looked at me confused and stated "oh, i did not know you were coming today. i'll be right back, it just needs a few more tweaks." then proceeds to have me sit as she prepared the retainer. during this time i was frazzled and uncertain of the circumstances and instead of dr. patel communicating and confirming the retainer is what i wanted ... she proceeds to dive right in. she scurried me off quickly and ushered for me to leave. of course i was going to be thrown off and frazzled -- thus me calling less than 24hrs to report my disinterest in the permanent retainer and to have a clear retainer instead. oh not to mention that at the end of the insertion of the permanent retainer .......... she gives me the mold of my teeth ........ as a gift i guess. weird. didn't even ask if i wanted it or not, just a "here ... you can keep that. :)" like huh???? after 3 weeks of back and forth conversation about getting the retainer removed and replaced, the removal of the retainer would be $250.00 ... it's a wire and tooth cement. get over yourselves. 8/23/2022 i called to check back in as laura did not return my call twice. once when i had called to let them know of my disinterest and the other when i had followed up due to their lack of reliability. 8/31/2022 i call the office to confirm of their queen anne locations hours that laura told me on the 23rd that i may come in on the 24th or the 31st to drop off my teeth mold in order to get the retainer i want. laura proceeds to gaslight me by telling me that i am introducing new information ... that she had told me the week prior. not wanting me to speak to any doctor directly or accomodate for their lack of attention and care and instead gaslight me and do absolutely ... nothing about the situation. an absolute joke. all of the reviews stating that they are terrible and a disgrace for a pediatric service is valid and i hope you never have to interact with dr. smita patel at the little pearls dentistry and orthodontics in queen anne or bothell or federal way (closed) or des moines (closed) ever in your life. she has lost her touch if i do say so myself; i wonder why all of her locations have been closing down .......... anyways, as someone who has interacted with her years ago to now .... this place is going downhill fast.

Dishonest!!! I moved to Shoreline last year, and went to…read moreBright 32 Family Dentistry for the first time for dental exam and cleaning. The hygienist Anna was rough when she took photos of my teeth and performed the cleaning. When I made "ouch" sounds and clearly signaled her that she had hurt my gum, she didn't even apologize or try to be more careful. Then the hygienist told me that I had more than 10 cavities even before the dentist showed up to look at my X ray. I was surprised because I have not had any cavities for over 10 years and during this time I have seen 3 different dentists. When the dentist came, Anna told him I had 10 cavities and he confirmed it. I questioned how could I develop 10 cavities within a year since my last exam. He explained the X ray can detect more cavities than what we can see with bare eyes, but he didn't show me where the 10 cavities were on the X ray. At the end of my visit, the hygienist Anna printed me a "treatment plan" of 5 appointments for fillings, and $1,040 out of pocket after insurance payment. I didn't trust this dentistry and decided to switch. I visited a dentist office in Edmonds today and had an exam and cleaning. The dentist office received my last X ray image from Bright 32 and took additional x ray images. They reviewed both with me and said I had very healthy teeth. The hygienist said I do a good job cleaning my teeth and my dental clean appointment was short and easy. I found the "Treatment Plan Estimate" from Bright 32 last year and I wonder how much money they made from patients and insurance companies when no treatment was needed. Stay away!

Just looking at the pictures, I thought this guy seemed kind of smarmy. I went anyway because the…read morelocation was walking distance from home and the reviews were pretty good. I did not feel the cleaning I got here was done very well, and a follow up six months later seemed to confirm that, because the second hygienist felt that there was tartar that was old that should have been removed previously. The hygienist here outlined an extensive treatment plan without explaining anything at all about what was actually wrong. I had gone for what I expected to be a routine appointment with no symptoms. I asked a lot of questions and got better information, but they should have provided the diagnostic information first. You shouldn't have to ask for that and then have to continue to ask questions to drag the information out of them. The treatment plan was very aggressive, and of course, very expensive - nearly $10,000, and that was only "Phase 1." I was told there would be a phase 2 and that it would be even more expensive, but we didn't get far enough for an actual quote on that. I was given a lot of push back when asking about more conservative approaches. I saw two other dentists for additional opinions and they both felt that I could do nothing and the risk of the problems getting worse would be very small. One of them felt that Dr. Brenner's plan was reasonable but more aggressive than necessary and the other felt that it was inappropriately aggressive. If you're someone who likes to take the most aggressive option and is not concerned about costs, this guy might be ok. I acknowledge that there is an upside to aggressive treatment - there is a small risk my situation could get worse with more conservative measures. Aggressive treatment would mean spending a lot of money up front but eliminating that risk. Also, he does not do even simple extractions - he has his brother do them, which seems kind of weird. I've never had a general dentist who couldn't do simple non-surgical extractions. And the brother has had DOH disciplinary action taken against him. Overall impression is that this practice is excessively profit-driven.

I had a disappointing experience with this dental office during my Invisalign treatment. I…read moreinitially chose this practice because my case seemed straightforward, and I felt comfortable moving forward with a general dentist rather than an orthodontist based on their reassurance. Unfortunately, the results did not meet expectations. Despite following the treatment plan as directed, I was not satisfied with the final outcome, and my concerns were not adequately addressed when I brought them up. There was a lack of clear communication and accountability regarding next steps or potential corrections. The financial aspect has also been frustrating. I paid for treatment in full at the beginning, yet I have continued to receive requests for additional payments with inconsistent amounts and no clear explanation. This has felt disorganized and unprofessional. In addition, I was never provided with retainers at the completion of treatment, which is a standard and essential part of Invisalign care. Because of this and the unresolved issues with my results, I ultimately had to transfer my care to another provider, pay a transfer fee, and complete treatment elsewhere at additional cost. Overall, this was a frustrating experience marked by poor communication, lack of follow-through, and unexpected financial issues. I would recommend others carefully consider their options before proceeding with treatment here.

I had a broken tooth, so came in to get it repaired. They were able to get me in super quickly, and the support staff were communicative and friendly. I've never had such an unpleasant, uncomfortable experience, with little to no information being communicated. I left, vowing never to return but unfortunately this tooth began to hurt (which never hurt when it was broken), sensitive, and completely unable to bite down. It is still more sensitive than any other teeth but I will never be back here. Unfortunate, because staff were nice and this is located near to me.
