Absolutely do not recommend going here. They will treat you poorly then gaslight you after the fact. I had a horrible experience from an inexperienced cleaning that left me pooling in my own saliva and barely getting rinsed out. The dentist then told me I needed 8 fillings which did not sound right - especially since I just had 3 in the last year. They didn't bill or contact my insurance after (I have proof of this with my records and also the fact that my employeer's broker had to get involved in order to get a resolution. They threatened to put me in collections months later since I didnt pay the costs of uninsured patient despite me already haven given them my info and my insurance company telling me in writing they never received anything from the dentist. It took 5 months to resolve. Even though my insurance wasn't confirmed - they still wanted me to move forward with the fillings and bill insurance later. This seemed sus so I got a second opinion and a new dentist said there was no way I needed 8 fillings. I then wrote about my experience in a Google review in hopes that they can take accountability or do better for the next patient and the dentist then chooses to respond to my review by gaslighting me and saying that my experience had to have happened at another dentist because they would never do this to a patient. I think they forget patients have proof of being a patient and proof of emails/phone calls that occured over the time of incident. It was truly DISGUSTING behavior to gaslight me and say I had to be confused with another dentistry when you have record of me being your patient and all of these communications. I wouldnt be surprised if they respond to this review also claiming I'm mistaken or confused. DO NOT trust these people with your time, teeth, or money. read more

Dr. Tanner didn't try to sell me on unnecessary procedures, as other practices did, & noticed a cracked molar that no one else did. All the good reviews are true. I read thru hours of reviews to find a new dentist in Seattle after living in pain post root canal for the last ten years. I've had. A lot of dental trauma ( braces 3 times, root canal with no relief, gum surgery 6 times to name a few) I needed some fillings, and my temp crown replaced on #12. I hesitated because after all the trauma it has still bothered me for 10 years. Today is the first day I don't have pain. He did a small filling on #11 and prepped my tooth for the real crown on #12. 1. The numbing process is hands down the most painless injections I've ever received. Like not even a poke, just cold for a second and boom numb. When the numbing wore off I wasn't in pain. This has never happened in all my years of dental work. 2. The entire staff is awesome, everyone is kind, works together like a huge family and takes the time to answer all your questions. And I had a lot of annoying questions, they made sure I felt happy and ok every step of the way. 3. The technology they have integrated is AWESOME. They 3D scan your teeth as they work; this gives the doctor the ability to texture map your mouth accurately without guess work, with check and balances along the way. I still have 4 more appointments. Crown install, upper and lower cavities, and replacing my metal fillings. But I'm not anxious or scared for these at all. I just moved back to Seattle and had to find a new dentist quick. I scheduled my first appointment to have a broken tooth checked out as well as x-rays on my other teeth. Dr. Tanner explained that I would need to have my broken tooth extracted and prepped for an implant and that I had a bunch of cavities that needed to be filled. The staff in the front office did a great job at explaining what my insurance would cover and how much I would owe at each of my upcoming visits. I've since had that broken tooth extracted and 10 cavities filled. I had a really great experience even though I am terrified of the dentist. I'll be back for veneers and my implant soon and I'm actually looking forward to getting more work done by Dr. Tanner. read more

I had a cleaning today by Radmilla and she seemed rushed, not very friendly and asked questions like "why are you in today" when I booked the appointment for a cleaning. She made it seem like my teeth are going to fall out ... just do have Dr. Tanner come in and said you have no cavities and some of my fillings are aging. I took my girl in for a cleaning yesterday; due to a language barrier I accompany her to appointments often. It was our first time at this office since we were switching to an in-network dentist and it was open unusually late, 7:00pm on that day, so we arrived at 6 sharp, having done the intake paperwork online. The dentist was not in at that time. The office appeared as any other, clean and orderly, the greeting, as a first time patient, was non existent and as warm as an ice cube, our presence wasn't even acknowledged and we were the only ones there, leaving my initial impression quite negative; so minus four stars, the experience however, a basic cleaning, seemed competently done and Edmila provided numbing mouthwash, since my girl is hypersensitive, so plus one star, the assessment and recommendation for future care was consistent with previous diagnoses, so plus one star additional competency. This rating may change with future appointments. As I said, it was our first and only impression, cold but efficient, very consistent with many of my experiences in Seattle. read more

During my first visit I felt comfortable the moment I walked in and was greeted by Amy. She is super sweet, kind, and attentive. I had missed one of my appointments and she was understanding and accommodating and helped me reschedule. I enjoyed Evon's bubbly personable personality and how genuine our conversations were. I've had so many bad dental experiences that I'm loathe to go. However, I saw that Dr. Khan specializes in problem teeth so decided to give it a try. I haven't smiled with an open mouth in a long time. I was embarrassed to open my mouth. She did such an amazing job! I keep smiling and feel so much better about myself. Seattle Sound Dental is the best practice you can possibly imagine! The office is clean and bright. The people at the front desk know most of their patients on a first name basis. I first had a cleaning and general check-up. The dental hygienist Radmilla was very friendly and cleaned my teeth better than ever before. Nick Tanner came in later and was also super friendly. I asked if I could have my wisdom teeth taken out that week possibly and they scheduled me for a few days later even though they were all booked up! I came into the office again for my wisdom teeth removal and Leeann was super friendly and comforting since I was nervous. The extraction itself took around 5 minutes and I didn't feel a thing. Leeann forgot to give me the gauze at the office so she called me and brought me the gauze herself. Throughout the weekend, I never felt any pain, my mouth was just sore. Fast forward to FSA problems. Discover had denied my claim because they misunderstood my paperwork. I came in and Stephanie the Practice Manager talked to them on the phone, printed out a bunch of additional paperwork, hand wrote a bunch of things, and told me if it doesn't work, she'll be checking in with my insurance every week to see if they can do anything to help my claim. The additional paperwork she gave me did in fact work and because of that, I don't have to pay the $400 out of pocket! So to say Seattle Sound Dental goes above and beyond to make you happy is an understatement. They truly might be one of the best dental practices in America! read more

I went to this dentist one time for what I thought was a routine cleaning. I was told that I had 4 cavities that needed to be filled asap and a potential root canal for a chipped tooth. I proceeded to fill the 4 cavities but opted out of the root canal (which would have cost $1200) because I could not afford it. I then went to a different dentist who told me that the 4 fillings I got were likely unnecessary, and that the root canal I was told I needed was for a tooth that wasn't even at risk. At this point, I also found out that the previous visit had maxed out all of my benefits and that I now owed an additional $200 for a routine bi-annual dental cleaning. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have unlimited spending accounts with your insurance. The work she did was fine, but really feel like I got ripped off and pressured into buying things I didn't need. read more
