This review is long over due. My husband and I were living in Turkey so we got our dental implants done there. Both of our implants had problems. Doctors Tiffen and Vo worked tirelessly to fix the problem. I know they spent so many hours outside my visits on this. It took over a year and on the third try it finally worked! So far, I just completed my 3rd visit to Dr Vo and his team, and it's been the best experience I've ever had at the dentist. I just got an overdue deep clean completed by Briana and she did an amazing job. She had to work on me for 2 hours and the results were outstanding. After just one day, I have absolutely no pain or soreness in my gums at all. She walked me through the process patiently and in detail, and also checked in frequently throughout the procedure to see if I was okay. For many years, I've been nervous and hated going to the dentist and now i'm completely over my fears and looking forward to improving and fixing my smile. I've been a patient of Dr. Vo's for 5+ years. He and his office provide excellent dental care and our very patient-focused. In 2022 I needed emergency dental work and Dr. Vo took care of everything (from making sure I had appointments with his office and finding me a great oral surgeon). I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Vo and his staff. As a new patient three years ago, I was very nervous because I hadn't been to the dentist for a few years before. They did an evaluation, a deep clean over time so it wasn't hard to handle, and put me on a plan to improve my dental health. I just had a cleaning today and my dental health has turned around completely. Thanks to Jeff my hygienist who actually makes it enjoyable to get my teeth cleaned. BE WARY OF ALL 5 STAR REVIEWS. I have never written an internet review before, but feel it is important people know what they are getting themselves into when it comes to any type of medical professional. I believe the goal of this office is to get you in with unusually high web reviews and then immediately suggest expensive, unnecessary treatments. The first thing the receptionist said to me when I walked in was, "We receive 60 new patients a month!" I even clarified this number because it sounded so outlandishly high, but yes - a single private practice dentist gets 60 new patients a month. As a new patient, I was immediately given extensive X-rays and "charting." As someone who has gone to the dentist since a kid, I found these assessments to be over-the-top, even for being a new patient. They were uncomfortable, and I was given very little description for why things were happening. The hygienist then immediately told me I needed two extensive dental treatments, as if this was not a big deal. Dr. Vo agreed. The soonest I could book the next appointment was 2.5 months out (I had to reschedule with this office a couple times for the appointment I was there for, and each time waited over 2 months.) I was surprised that my dental treatment seemed sooo necessary, but they had no problem leaving me hanging for months. Overall, I left with a sore mouth and without the cleaning I had desired. This place is all bells and whistles. I believe the prerogative here for is to have new patients do extensive, uncomfortable assessment and then immediately recommend an expensive treatment that requires several other visits. read more

Dr Vo and his staff are caring, honest, hygienic, respectable people whom I highly recommend! Another dentist residing in the Seattle Medical Dental Building whom was moving out of state recommend Dr Vo to me ten years ago. Since then I've had regular cleanings, cavity, and crown services. Each time my comfort level was amazing and to have a dentist with excellent bedside manner and actually treat me as a person rather than just a patient really helps. The office is beautiful; each room has doors that shut and are very private. Let's face it, nobody is excited to go to the dentist. I'm a 42 year old woman who's had a lot of various dental procedures done since my early 20's. I feel so fortunate for a local office that I can depend on to be consistent, fair, and generally give a hoot about my quality of day to day and long time dental health. I transferred to Dr Vo's practice from the UW Dental Fears Clinic. I was able to get in pretty quickly, and the staff worked hard to make an anxious patient comfortable. With my first visit they reviewed my outside records, and did a small number of films to check out some problem spots. Then Dr Vo suggested a conservative approach to managing things as they are. The hygenist I see is professional, kind, and makes sure I'm comfortable with every step of the process. Normally my husband has to come to the dentist with me, and hold my hand the whole time. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I've had a past with dentist offices with being pretty crappy. This place? This place was not crappy in any way. The staff here are all wonderful and understanding. They are also on the top of their game and are aware of who you are and keep tabs on you. It's not in a creepy way you may be thinking. Lori/Lauren (Forgot your name Sorry!!) worked on my teeth and she was great! She educated me on my concerns and had also kept me in the loop to what she was working on. Dr. Vo came in and checked on the work that was done, and he as well educated me on what was up. He was super professional and nice. This office is beautiful and everything about this place is just easy. I called and made an appointment, had my records transferred from my previous dentist and was good to go. New patient appointments can take as long as 2 hours so I would schedule as much, although mine only took about an hour. The woman who cleaned my teeth was really easy to talk to and was really friendly. I think I'm in the minority but I definitely enjoy getting my teeth cleaned. Dr. Vo came in afterwards, checked me out, gave me the thumbs up on my chompers and I was good to go. Scheduled for 6 months out and was on my way. Easy peasy. I was sad to leave my old dentist, but happy to know I have equally great care only a few blocks from work and home. read more

I could not be happier with Dr. Vo and his staff. They are open-minded, friendly and they never make you feel bad about your dental problems. I had been putting off some major dental work after numerous bad experiences with dentists and I reluctantly made an appt. with Dr. Vo upon the recommendation of a friend. I could not have been happier about my experience. They didn't shame me for neglecting to take care of the problems earlier and their optimistic attitude made me feel a lot better. Dr. Vo and his team put together a treatment plan with my budget and schedule in mind and never pressured me to do anything I couldn't afford. This is the first time I've gone to a dentist and not been physically ill from anxiety upon leaving. Dr. Vo's staff is also really fantastic. Rena is kind, flexible and really great. Sarah is also awesome and hilarious, which makes the experience a lot less stressful. If your lucky her visiting seagull will come hang out on the window ledge while you're there. They makes notes (or they have phenomenal memories) of what you talked about in the previous meeting that are not dentistry related so they can pick up the conversation as soon as you step in. The dental assistants are incredibly gentle with your teeth and gums and Dr. Thomas Vo is really nice. It's a very professional practice and you can tell they care about customer service -- you even get a little goody bag after you leave, which contains Dr. Thomas Vo's chapstick (which I LOVE -- smells like coconut and has very simple ingredients,) a toothbrush, floss, and a mini-tube of toothpaste. They also give you sun-goggles when you sit down in the chair so the bright light doesn't bother you and your eye makeup doesn't get messed up from the dentist rubbing against it, and it protects your eyes from getting water that bounces out of your mouth from the dental spray into your eyes. I was very charmed by the service and operations at Dr. Vo's practice. Being at a place that is pleasantly nice, and efficient is a good thing. I'm used to giving hotels reviews by some of these merits. For coming into this office suddenly due to a dental emergency, I am also struck by the honesty and professionalism of Dr. Vo and his staff as well. While on a weekend vacation I cracked a crown chewing on some candy. My existing dentist was also on vacation for 2 weeks so I couldn't get care. I began calling around town for different dental providers leaving messages. The following Monday morning the front desk of Dr. Vo's practice called me first thing and got me in for an emergency exam. Upon entering I found the space very nice and the staff from the front desk, assistants, and hygienists all very personable in a calm and sincere manner. Everyone inquired about my daily life and shared about themselves as well. I found Dr. Vo himself very succinct, clear, honest, and professional. When inquiring about my crown he recommended I not have service done by him, but instead go back to my existing dentist. This surprised me. He explained about different kinds of crowns, average lifetimes and common policies for crowns. I was given an estimate by one of the office people and even offered a payment plan on the sudden costs I might incur. I did visit my earlier dentists office, although they were closed for their Dr's vacation, the office was still open. The gal there was confused about what to do, records were in piles, and the computer wasn't working well, she was trying to avoid any statements of fault for my crown breaking due to their work. I tried to explain it really didn't matter because my dental insurance would cover it. It was an easy choice following this to switch to Dr. Vo as my primary dental provider, and more than him, choose his practice as a whole. On the digital side, for now 4 appointments I've received and email notification of the appointment, and receive at least 3 reminder texts preceding my appointments. For people who are busy with conflicting priorities, more reminders are great to have. The people are nice, the service is calm and professional, my mouth is better. read more

I've never had any major dental work before, and I came here with my first ever cavity that needed filling, unsure what it entailed. Long story short, Dr. Vo took great care of me, easing any apprehensions I had about the procedure. He made sure I was comfortable the entire time, gave me plenty of background and the "how's" and "why's" and all that which I'm sure I annoyed him with. The office itself is very clean, nicely decorated, with really nice fixtures and features. Best experience I've ever had at a dental office. The staff are friendly and warm, Jeff ( I believe is his name) was just wonderful. They are extremely thorough and sensitive to all your concerns. I couldn't imagine someone leaving their office with a bad experience. I never thought I would enjoy a dental exam/cleaning but I actually had a good time there. I asked Dr. Vo and team if I could come in more often for teeth cleaning, fillings, that crown that I need to replace my last childhood silver filling. That is how much I love them. Dr. Vo said, we just need to watch that last silver filling. NO, I want the crown now! I LOVE coming in. No dice. That silver filling will remain on the watch list. The moral of the story: Dr. Vo will not do unnecessary procedures just so that you can come in and hang out...except for the teeth cleaning thing.
