I just went to Dr. Vo for vaneers for my top 10 teeth and could not be happier with the results. They look incredibly natural but are a real upgrade as my own teeth were showing signs of wear and the shape was not a perfect fit for my face. It was possibly the biggest investment I've made in myself (vaneers are not cheap) but am so glad I did. My humble opinion but I think Dr. Vo may be one of Seattle's best when it comes to cosmetic dentistry. The entire experience was very comfortable (the Christmas music and his therapy dog Bradley helped!) and the results are everything I had hoped for. He helped steer me in choosing the shade, and we were on the same page as far as going for a natural look, though if I wanted the hollywood look he could do that too. All in all, I love my new smile and give Dr. Vo and his staff my highest possible recommendation. (Bradley however will always be my favorite). read more

Went to Dr Vo for an extraction and veneer dental implant after some research. Very good bedside manner, stuff are very nice and friendly. Pricing was on the high side though. It started off with the tooth extraction that lasted more than double the estimated time and the stitches kept coming off. Dr Vo seems nice and re stitched it. The implant was way off to the side; not lined up with neighbor teeth but Dr Vo said he will shave it. The whole shaving process was uncomfortable, lasted a long time, could feel the heat from the shaving drill. Now I found out that the crown turned out to be too short leaving a gap under for potential bacterial growth. Can clearly see the implant from the side under the crown. I emailed Dr Vo. Will have an update to let you know. I gave it 3 stars as I don't know how the end product is going to be. read more

I want to share a portion of the email I sent to Dr. Jon, thanking him for the veneers he did for me. To put it in perspective, I required extensive gum surgery before getting the veneers, and chose to have uppers and lowers done. Here is the excerpt: "Thank you" doesn't begin to cover it. When I got home yesterday and the rest of the numbness wore off, I couldn't stop staring at my new teeth and smile. I still can't. I'm so happy I can't describe it in words. I've gone through my entire life with teeth that weren't very nice, yet I felt weren't bad enough to justify cosmetic dentistry. It took a milestone birthday, and seeing enough "before and after" photos to make me question why I hadn't acted before now. Perhaps I was just waiting for the best cosmetic dentist in Seattle to set up shop nearby! And I am SO glad that I decided to do both the uppers and lowers. My lower teeth show so much when I talk (and thankfully now my uppers do too!). I can't imagine having my old lowers sharing the spotlight with these incredible uppers. I was looking at them in detail yesterday, showing my husband that they even have some "antiquing" near the gum line. They look so natural. I was so excited that I even showed the parking attendant yesterday, as she has seen me come and go from your office many times in the past year. She mentioned that I had a very long day at the dentist and asked if everything was OK. I explained what we were doing and offered to show her. She exclaimed "they're so beautiful! I had a cleaning and new patient exam on Tuesday night with Frank (Hygienist) and Dr. Jon. The cleaning was exceptional! Frank is gentle but really thorough and my teeth have never felt better! This is a long overdue review, my bad. I cannot recommend this place enough! From my initial consultation, to follow up with insurance and everything in between, the staff here continuously went above and beyond expectations. Dr. Jon was a complete star with his recommendations and how he listened to my concerns. I had quite a bit of work done and he made it all completely painless. I had surgery years ago that caused some paralysis in my face and have been wanting to do what I could to improve my appearance. I am so happy with the veneers he gave me, he not only did great work, but he restored some self confidence in me and got me smiling genuinely again. All of the staff was wonderful, Nicole at the front was kind, caring and responsive and I appreciated her help. This business has a particular rockstar working there, Nikki. As a former business owner, I would steal her in a heartbeat. Warm, kind, thoughtful, knowledgable, and 100% on point. Great dentist. Gentle and thorough. and takes time to answer questions. Even the receptionists are nice, welcoming me by name and shaking my hand. Also realistic about changes in habit. Instead of lecturing about flossing every night its "here's some ideas of ways you could incorporate flossing into you life" and "let's try to just add one more time per week". Great location too, love the view, and the free parking at the library. Lastly, they are knowledgeable about insurance which is quite rare. Before they do something the insurance guru will come back and tell me how much they would expect this to be for me out of pocket. Then I can make an informed decision about care. I've been a patient of Dr. Jayne since 1991. My first actual procedure with Dr. Jon was a recent gum grafting. Trial by fire in other words. I proved to be a very challenging patient because I planned to have sedation then ended up having a severe Restless Leg Syndrome attack as the meds took effect. Dr. Jon and his staff handled it with incredible expertise and professionalism. Try doing a delicate procedure on someone whose legs are intermittently thrashing. It took a village....And I know it can't have been easy. Any concern I might have had about Dr. Jayne retiring and Dr. Jon taking over the practice is gone. He is clearly outstanding at what he does. The entire staff there, from the front desk crew to the assistants and technicians, is incredibly kind and good at what they do as well. I started going to him for cosmetic dentistry to fix some issues that I had been having with my front teeth and he has made a world of difference. I couldn't be happier with the work that he did and how much he improved my smile. I originally went to Dr. Jayne because of these reviews and being voted "best" in Seattle Magazine. And of course I would expect to pay more for quality, but the high prices you are quoted are just the beginning - these very nice people bill a very hefty additional sum which mysteriously appears after you pay in full. Surprise! I have been to many a dentist and I don't consider any time that "fun", but my time under the drill was a miserable experience. Of course everyone was to nice to ask if I was okay --after --I was pumped with so much Novocain I thought I would explode. I have since learned that most dentists don't numb two sides of your mouth at the same time for this reason. Surprise! Of course the nice lady apologized every time I was gagged by the air hose, but holy moly, the whole experience was rough. I also wasn't a fan of the dentist's style where his hands are moving over your eyes the whole time so you don't have a spot to look at --and without the movie glasses or anything on the ceiling --it seemed like forever in that chair. I was supposed to get another crown but thank goodness I left there. I'm now at another dentist who said that tooth doesn't need a crown at all - or even a filling. Surprise! So how can I not think that the crown that I have paid a boatload for -probably wasn't even necessary. Total bummer. So I recommend staying away from these nice people and their surprises. read more

I had my first dental appointment at Dr. Jayne's yesterday and was quickly put at ease by the staff's kindness, humor, and honesty. They have state-of-the-art equipment, which was also reassuring, as my previous dentist's office was a little "behind the times." The only thing that makes me nervous is they immediately recommended a pricey deep cleaning/root planing procedure that has never been suggested to me in the past. I very much want to stay with Dr. Jayne's practice, but am hesitant about the potential of paying lots of money for services that I'm not totally sure I need. On the extra-plus side, I asked about teeth-whitening options leading up to my wedding next month, and they offered to provide custom teeth-whitening trays & gel for me at no cost! Based on their excellent customer service and great chair-side manner, I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and just be careful about the billing & payments. read more
