This felt very different from my previous dental experience, where I never felt "sold" extra services. I also recommend double-checking your insurance coverage before any procedures. This office does not verify plan details or eligibility in advance like other dentists do, and their estimates are largely incorrect, which led to unexpected costs for me. They also did not inform me of potential lower-cost alternatives or downgrades in coverage for common procedures like fillings, which they are required to do. On a positive note, my hygienist was friendly, thorough, and honest, and I appreciated the availability of early 7am appointments. Overall, however, the experience felt more transactional than patient-focused, and I did not feel that my best interests were being prioritized.

She also altered some of her techniques to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Daniel came in for my cleaning and was similarly supportive. We talked about my dental history and he gave me so much validation and assurance about my health. He was quick, gentle, and so kind. I have to return next month to get fillings and am not as nervous as I was before because I know this practice truly embodies gentle dental care. I wish I'd come here years ago but I'm glad to continue my dental care in their hands.

First visit with the new dentist only the hygienist was there the dentist was not there, who knows why. Second visit the hygienist wasn't there and the dentist cleaned my teeth and then tried to add on an additional procedure, which was recently done. She continued with the procedure after I had mentioned it, but did it half ass. I would know the difference since I've had it done many times by other professionals. Not all dentists are great at what they do. Some dentists are actually bad. Dr. Brenner is a nice…read moreguy, but his dental work is sub par. My spouse had several crowns that never quite fit right, despite several return visits. A year later she saw another dentist who showed in pictures how the crowns were crap that were poorly set. And worse, to make the crap crowns fit, Dr. Brenner ground down the surrounding teeth - you could see that in the pictures. My spouse had to have all of Dr. Brenner's work replaced. I also had Dr. Brenner place crowns that have never quite fit. When I started seeing my spouse's dentist, without pointing it out that dentist independently observed Dr. Brenner's sub par work in my mouth too. My new dentist showed me how Dr. Brenner's crown was installed so it hangs over the nearby tooth, something my new dentist said is highly unusual. So that's why I can't floss between those teeth without getting shreds of floss stuck! I also had fillings from Dr. Brenner that left gaps so I am always getting g food stuck between my teeth now. That's not supposed to happen. I have since had quality fillings and that is no longer a problem. Finding a great dentist or even a good dentist is challenging. They can buy fancy advertising and get themselves on "Best of ____" lists. We put a lot of faith that dentists are good at their practice. When they are not, does it really matter if they are nice, that they have nice office staff, or that they are on The Best of Whatever list? Avoid at all costs.
