Bridgette is a gem of a human being, she's incredibly kind and compassionate and does a great job calming everyone down, even the adults. There are many options for kids who need extra care. Dr. Grace does a thorough evaluation and creates a treatment plan that makes sense for the child's physical and mental well being. My child needed more than numbing in order to complete her treatment and this was arranged by the office. They partner with Pleasant Dreams Dental Anesthesia (also great) when they deem it necessary, making hard treatments much easier. Took my daughter to get her first year check up and she did a fantastic job. Very polite and patient with my child. LOVE this dentistry! They are SO lovely! I had to change my appointment and the gracious Melanie was so patient trying to find a time for both my girls at the same time. She did not have to be so nice and accommodating and I so appreciated it. Then the practice itself is wonderful- clean and sterile but welcoming for kids. Plus they do the TVs on the ceiling so the kids can watch while getting their teeth cleaned - GENIUS!!!!! My daughters were hypnotized by Frozen and didn't fuss a bit. My daughter is only 2.5 years old but needed a lot of dental work done. She is also extremely fearful of doctors and I knew it was going to be hard to keep her from melting down. I researched basically all the pediatric dentists around Seattle, Redmond, Issaquah, and Bellevue. We decided to go with Dr. Jun at Mint. Dr. Jun is amazing! She is kind, gentle, knowledgeable, and you can tell she is just a really good person through and through. We were cash paying patients since we did not sign up our daughter for dental insurance during open enrollment. Oops. Dr. Jun worked with us and was incredibly generous, and we are very grateful to have found her. Everyone we worked with including the dental assistants, Melanie at the front desk, and Dr. P (the anesthesiologist) were just all so wonderful. So caring, and again, just all good people. Great dentist all around - really the best pediatric dentist I've taken my kids to across three different cities. Moved here over a year ago and have been really pleased with experience at Mint Kids. Right now there are clear protocols to keep all parties safe - call ahead to be the only people in the waiting area, temperature checks, masks and sanitizer and limit number of adults coming in. My kids LOVE the ability to watch a movie while they have their teeth cleaned and it clearly puts them at ease. The hygienists are also wonderful - explaining in a kid friendly way what they are going to do before they do it. And as a parent I really appreciated the chance to go through the digital X-rays on the computer screen with the dentist to see how my kids teeth are growing in and anticipate need for orthodontia. We got lucky. We were in search of a pediatric dentist and I was prioritizing location/hours to suit our family's needs. Mint Kids Dentistry (MKD) is located very close to our home and we couldn't be happier with the office staff including of course, Dr. Jun. She is very knowledgeable and I especially appreciate her time in explaining in details when I raise questions as a concerned parent. She is very gentle which is probably soothing for our little ones (ages 7; 7; and 4). They all like Dr Jun and enjoy going into the office (what? who enjoys going to the dentist lol). The entire office staff is friendly, pleasant, courteous, and accommodating. We are very pleased with MKD and would highly recommend others to check it out. (Though I fear the crowdedness will perhaps prohibit easy scheduling for selfish reasons.) read more

Dr. Jun and her staff are AMAZING!! I was visiting Seattle and my child needed emergency care. Dr. Jun's staff was so accommodating and responsive by checking insurance coverage right away to taking the appointment the next day. Once we got there, Dr. Jun was so gentle and explained every step of the process and laid out all the options for me. Also she personally walked me thru the cost of the procedure without me asking which I appreciated the attentiveness and transparency. She was very knowledgeable and I trusted her care immediately. On the day of the procedure, she and her staff made an emotional and stressful situation so much easier to manage. She treated my child like it was her own. I wish she was our regular dentist. I brought my daughter here a couple days ago to get a filling after trying to take her to a few other dental offices. The other offices couldn't sooth her and finish the one filling that she needed even with the laughing gas. Dr. Jun was able to get her to cooperate without using any gas or anything, just great bedside manner, and before we knew it she was finished with the work. My daughter even left the office smiling and a different perception of dentists which was a great feeling as a mom. Another plus of course was that the staff and facility are top notch. Brought my daughter here to do a routine checkup and cleaning. Dr. Jun was so gentle, patient, and nice. She really put my daughter at ease, which is surprising because she's had difficult dental appointments prior to this one. Think screaming and crying. But not a single tear at Dr. Jun's office. The assistant was patient working with her and was even able to take some x-rays! I'm glad I found this office and would recommend this office to all kids. Very clean, very new and lovely staff. There is a tv running with shows and tablets and the like for the kids to enjoy while waiting to head to the back. The xray machine is one of the 360 degree rotating types so there is less need for the kids to stay still for multiple pictures. It almost worked for my three year old. The dentist is gentle and has a calming presence. The hygienist does seem a bit less experienced. Overall the exam went quickly but we never felt rushed. We have been so sad about leaving summer field back in New York ( they were geniuses counting teeth with lollipops and balloons for kids post check) but mint dentistry was a solid first visit for us! read more

Dr. Kim Hye Jin of Prime Dental Seattle recommended me to see Dr. Soo Jun as I was trying to find a pediatric dentist for my son to do 2 cavity filling. At first I had some reservation as it seemed that her office looked new and there's not much information online that I can find online. But truly, there's always the first time for everything..! During our visit there, my son was very happy at her office, it seemed like he is the King of the World!! His wish is always granted by the kind & patience Dr. Jun. Her facility is really welcoming, clean and very neatly organized. The office was just recently opened and with the Ipads for the kids to watch during wait time and the TVs with cartoons, I think my son found his comfort place to be there.. During the treatment, Dr. Jun always explain things to him prior to doing her work on him. When he asked question, she always explained patiently. We can see that he truly enjoyed his dental visit and is not afraid of the dentist. He usually is not willing to let other dentist perform work on his mouth, and also hard to cooperate. But Dr. Jun made it seemed so easy for him, he was so chatty and happy. Dr. Jun is very gentle, kind & patient and she took her time to explain some of the problems that my son had. My son has Mesiodens between his two front teeth that was growing invertedly. She has concern about this and she recommends me to go and see an oral surgeon for this. At the end of the treatment, he asked if he can come back there again.. and when it's time for me to bring him to the oral surgeon today, he actually asked if he is going to that nice lady doctor again. Not only that, when I have some concerns that I have to ask her prior to my son's operation, she responded promptly and I was grateful for that.
