After 13 years and three kids I just broke up with Everyone by One. My youngest no longer fits on the table and it's time for us to transition him to an adult practice. If they didn't have an age limit, 12y, two of my kids would still be coming here. The dental goodie bag and prize machines were something my kids looked forward to. Highly recommend coming here. My son (back when he was 2?) was one of Dr. Thomas' first patients in the brand-spankin' new office. I'm happy to see his practice grow. Thankfully, over the years, my kids have only needed preventative check-ups (keeping my fingers crossed), but Dr. Thomas & his staff have been so friendly, caring and informative about every check-up, answering any questions that I have. The office is very modern & tastefully decorated, all with children in mind. Just be warned: after the first visit, parents are asked to remain in the waiting room, while the staff takes your child back to the chairs. I'm sure some parents are uneasy with this, but don't worry - you won't be the first. I'm grateful to Dr. Thomas & his staff that my kids have no fear about going to the dentist. read more

The following was my letter to Everyone By One when I received an email stating they will no longer accept Washington Apple Health for any child above age 5. I'll assume I received this email because my two girls at one time were insured by Apple Health. I called a week ago informing you of the changes to coverage for them both. However I find it terribly concerning a dental office whose main goal was once to be sure every child was given proper dental care now has put an age to where they'll discriminate depending on the age of he child. Since when is a child's dental health only important up to age 5? I guess it's only important if your child is over age 6 and poor. These are the ages a child is just then beginning to get permanent teeth. When we were searching for a dentist 4 years ago even then there were a handful of dentists which took Apple Health and this office was the only one taking new patients. Now what? You are doing an injustice to the children of this area. I am sad for them. I can't support a business which puts their bottom line above the health and welfare of their patients. The least you could do is keep the patients you have and not accept more. Or reduce the Apple Health patients appointments to 1-2 per day. In the end I'll sadly ask you to cancel my girls appointments for which I was prepared to pay in cash but I can no longer support your business. read more

My 5 year old son had his first experience having teeth pulled today. The doctor and his technitians were exceptional at striking a balance between being up front and clear with my son about what was going to happen and selecting where to lighten the mood and information to keep him calm and distracted as necessary. The whole experience turned out great. I have always been impressed with this office, and there is a reason why we continue to attend even though we now live a 35 minute commute away. read more

We went here for my child's first dentist appointment and I was certain it would be an all out battle as my child doesn't like to brush his teeth and isn't great at the doctor. However, their approach to the checkup was amazing. It was in a private room so it was distraction free and I could ask questions. When it came time to the cleaning part, i held my child so he was still comfortable (there were still tears but not as much of a fight as I had anticipated). I highly recommend this place read more

These 2 doctors run a Malpractice, cheat gullible parents & profit of innocent children. They take X-rays & do not disclose that your child has cavities. After 6 months they suddenly disclose that your child has mouthful of cavities & needs multiple crowns spread over multiple visits to squeeze out every single penny from unsuspecting parents & insurance. I've lost thousands of dollars of my own after being cheated by them. I had their x-rays checked by 3 different pediatric dentists & they all asked why were these cavities allowed to grow & why no preventive care by advised by these 2 dentists when it shows clearly what needs to be done. Their practice should be audited by Authorities & past patients can give evidence. They continue to prey on gullible children & their unsuspecting parents. read more

All three of my kids have been going to Everyone by One for the last couple years, and I love them for many reasons. Scheduling appointments is easy even if it's only a couple weeks out, and there is always convenient parking available. One of the biggest plus points is how I can email them with a picture and description of anything that's bothering my kids, and the doctor gets back to me the same day either telling me that it's normal and I just need to use xyz OTC medication, or that I need to bring them in for further investigation. It's mostly the former, but it gives me peace of mind. They're taking excellent COVID-19 precautions for in-person visits. My kids are always relaxed and like the folks at this practice. Not going to leave them until they tell us to switch to adult dentistry. Need I say more? read more

I am in shock that a person would say such bad things about Dr. Thomas. My girls 11 and 5 have been going to him for 4 years now. This Dr. volunteers his Thursday of every week to work in free clinic up north, so I am pretty sure he isn't just interested in taking your $$. His bedside manner is just what you would hope for from a pediatric dentist. Kind, soft spoken and very sincere. I have had no problems with unnecessary procedures here (I have in other offices). One time my daughter had 6 teeth pulled at one time. She was very scared of course and after it was all done she was totally fine. Of course she had some pain, but that is expected. To this day she compares his shots like mosquito bites. That is a huge compliment coming from a kid. Another time we were getting ready to go on a family trip to Mexico and one of my daughters brackets came loose and was pokey. I was afraid of it getting worse in Mexico so I called him and he met us at his office on a Friday night to fix it. NO CHARGE! I do not agree with this yelper at all and I have nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Thomas and his staff. Every time we are there the Dr. always asked about my daughters sports and tells her that he would love to come watch sometime. I know he is genuine he loves basketball himself. BTW they are fluent in spanish. I highly recommend Dr. Thomas and his office staff. read more

After getting a tooth pulled over a year ago, my 5 year old was as traumatized as can be, so I was very nervous about this appointment. it had been almost a year since his last check up (in which he kicked and screamed the entire time) so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was also my 2 year old's first visit to the dentist so I was expecting the worst all around... Dr Thomas' assistant, Katie, was awesome!! She was so sweet, gentle and explained everything to my older son. I was completely shocked that he didn't cry at all, and even allowed her to take all his x-rays!!! Also, after watching his big brother behave so well, my little one also did great too!! I still can't believe what a wonderful experience it was and would HIGHLY recommend Dr Thomas! read more

Tonight I asked my 3.5 year old what was the best part of her day (a common dinner time question from me) and her answer was "going to the dentist". Seriously, what more could you ask for? We saw Dr. Thomas for the first time when our daughter was 1 years old and the first apt consisted of mostly education for my husband and I about how to brush her teeth (which we dearly needed!) and what types of foods (like juice) we should limit. I was terrified he'd tell me I had to stop breastfeeding but he was very supportive. Dr. Thomas assistant played on the floor with our daughter and a giant alligator and toothbrush while we got all our questions answered. We also got a tour of the office. I left very impressed. When our daughter was 2 years old they told us if our daughter was comfortable we would wait in the waiting room and they would take her back solo as kids tend to be more calm when the parents aren't with them. I thought for sure she'd throw a fit but she waltzed back there with no problems and did great. They brushed her teeth, did a bit of tartar removal, and applied fluoride. She was thrilled that she got to watch poo and pick out her toothpaste flavor. We've been back every 6 months and at 3.5 we're still cavity free and my daughter loves the dentist. I recommend Dr. Thomas and his office highly. read more

We love Dr. Thomas! Not only do I get a *positive* reaction when I tell my kids it's time for their cleaning, (how amazing is that?) but Dr. Thomas takes the time to help educate parents on their kids' oral health. When you become a patient of Dr. Thomas, not only can you expect great in-office service, but also an occasional e-mail on what your family can do to easily maximize your kids' dental health. (i.e. let them chew zylitol gum after meals; it can reduce bacterial growth by up to 70%!) Dr. Thomas and his staff always go above and beyond what I would expect from a pediatric dentist. Recently, I mistakenly thought my 9-yr-old son had injured a permanent tooth. I called Dr. Thomas and he met me within 20 minutes at his office (at 9 pm on a Thursday night!). Not only was Dr. Thomas responsive and caring, but when it turned out that the tooth was only a (big!) baby tooth, he just said "no worries", and wished us a good night- no charge! When I got home that night, I opened a nice e-mail from Dr. Thomas which included a chart of the mouth and when to expect eruption/loss of baby teeth. What a wonderful doctor. read more

Dr. Thomas is a fraud at the expense of our children. He told me my son needed to get 4 fillings at age 5. He did do one side of the mouth (2 fillings). His urgency and insistence that this needed to be done and couldn't wait another xray cycle made me suspicious. I went to another dentist and had dr. Thomas' office send over the original xrays. That dentist told me a lot of times kids don't need the fillings in their baby teeth. Those teeth fall out before they ever need any work done. She also told me from the xrays the office provided she couldnt make any determinations because they were blurry! Please question him and what he decides for your children's sake! read more

I'm literally writing this as I'm standing in their waiting room. My 5 year old needed a filling and I've been pacing a rut into their floor. Dr. Thomas just came out...only to let me know how well she's doing. I have never seen a better-run dentist's office. Heck, I don't think I've seen any kid-focused operation of ANY kind this well run. Not for us! Breastfeeding moms beware! I was told to breastfeed my child in the restroom, which is, of course, against the law. Dr. Thomas refused to treat my son's cavity because I am breastfeeding him. He then gave me three months to wean him. Needless to say, we will be seeing a different dentist. read more

Great office with a lot of attention to detail to create a positive experience for the kids. (ie. fun toys, monitors on the ceiling) Very attentive, friendly and efficient staff. My three kids just love going to the dentist! Dr Thomas and his staff are truly wonderful with children. They are so kind and gentle with each of them. They welcome the parent into the exam area, but also encourage the children to go in on their own. The office is modern and super clean with video monitors over the exam chairs so the kids can watch a little show while their teeth are being cleaned. The technology seems to be top notch and everything is geared towards children. Even the gloves smell like grape or bubble gum. Plus, they have good adult music quietly playing. We've received such good dental care from this office I recommend Dr Thomas to all my friends! read more

I find it interesting that the reviewer below remarked that she was forced to breastfeed her child in the restroom. I brought my two older children to Dr. Thomas for their cleaning and my new baby began crying at the end of the appointment. I was checking out and, rather than just letting me leave, the staff went out of their way to set up Dr. Thomas' private office so I could nurse my son comfortably and in private. I didn't even have to ask - they could have just let me continue on my way and nurse in my car. They even brought in toys so my other two could play while I fed my baby. I was so impressed with their kindness in helping a mom with a new baby. I will definitely continue to recommend Dr. Thomas to my other friends with kids. read more

One would expect feeling anxious going to a dentist, but from when my child and I walked in to the moment we walked out, we experienced nothing short of professionalism and compassion from Dr. Chung and his staff. This doctor is only interested in taking your money! Even with the best dental insurance (90% benefit) it is very expensive as many treatments considered unnecessary by insurance. Staff is disorganized. Doctor wouldn't return your phone call even after several messages left with his staff. Wouldn't provide a treatment until your bill is paid in full even if there may be an insurance payment pending. My family is going to another dentist. read more

Dr. Thomas and his staff are amazing. Just a week before I moved here from Florida in 2009, my 4 yr old daughter's dentist told us she would need 8 fillings. What a shock that was to us! And expensive! We decided to wait until we moved here to get them taken care of. A friend recommended Dr. Thomas so I made an appointment. The first thing you notice is how nice the office is. I believe it was built with environmentally friendly materials if I remember correctly. There is a nice play area for the kids, plenty of seating for everyone, nice soothing paint colors and a nice big window. My son loves to play with the blocks and the magnetic gear board. They took X-rays of my daughter's teeth and after reviewing the notes from the dentist in Florida, he determined that in no way did she need 8 filings. He approaches things conservatively and saved me a ton of money (I don't know what the previous Yelper was talking about). She ended up getting 2 small fillings that didn't even need a local. He explained everything he was doing and used kid friendly terms Iike sugar bumps (cavities). She left with a huge smile on her face and almost 3 years later she still loves going to the dentist. He will not shove unnecessary procedures at you. I recommend his office to all of my friends. I couldn't be happier! :) read more

Many other reviews reflect our experiences over the course of year with NW Pediatric Dentistry, now Everyone by One. These people don't have a child's best interests in mind, they think with their bank account and the version of what passes as 'dental education' and knowledge these days, which is about highly invasive procedures, the use of chemicals known to be dangerous (flouride) but which some people who refuse to do any balanced research know are poisons. While I can say they did 'work with me' on meeting financial obligations due to them, because their rates FAR surpassed what insurance would take, they always did ask for the money up front, even for procedures they had not yet completed and which I hadn't agreed to. When I went for a consult at another dentist regarding the real value and necessity of procedures they were advocating, they did not respond to requests for xrays and they wouldn't take calls. The new dentist Dr. Thomas has hired is young and wants his authority respected, he doesn't want to answer real questions informed parents might ask about things. And they want to rely on their latest technology, not real pateint experiences as their means of diagnosing problems. Rather than consider various possibilities, they jump to offering expensive (and largely cosmetic) solutions that would be painful and traumatic for kids. Also, there is a very real economic divide at this office, if you have money and dress like a Lululemon Bellevueite, and you ask no questions and only nod yes, you get served well. Anyone else? Chopped liver. I left this office in near tears myself over how I was treated several times. The new Lynnwood office is huge and expansive, at least any questions as to where your money went are answered. Into buying more slick headsets for their kind of ditzy staff to work their streamlined chop shop of peds dentistry and other fancy dental gear. If you value real healing, real help for real dental problems for the smallest people of our society, don't seek care from these people. You won't find what you are looking for. If you want to experience a broken medical/dental system and the scam of insurance and unnecessary procedures, then by all means, have at, they have plenty of this to offer. read more

This place is fantastic! I have been through many pediatric dentists with my five littles. The people working here are so friendly, smart, efficient and really care about the kids. They were able to do all five kids very quickly and even had time for a small filling that one of my boys needed. The doctor was very respectful and knowledgeable. My kids adored everyone there. When we got to the van, they all begged to go back. My son was crying and scared during his filling and the girls working were so gentle and supportive and made sure he felt good before they went further. This is an appointment I look forward to making! My kids absolutely love going to the dentist because of Dr. Thomas and his staff. My son has been seen at this practice for five years and my two year old daughter just recently needed two cavities repaired. Because of the excitement my son shows to come here, my toddler was able to sit through two fillings and left smiling and wanting to give Dr. Thomas and his staff hugs and kisses. My two boys (2 & 4 yrs old) love going to the dentist, thanks to Dr. Thomas and his staff! Very kid friendly office! The assistants are very patient and energetic. Dr. Thomas is top notch and gentle. My kids are kept comfortable and all of the staff from the front desk to the dental professionals are friendly, attentive and capable. I've been taking my two kids to see Dr Thomas for almost 4 years now and even after all these years, I'm still constantly impressed by the level of customer service that everyone working at this practice is committed to. From the girls at the front desk to the assistants to Dr Thomas himself - they are always smiling, friendly, professional and organized. This office is modern, bright, and dare I say FUN for my kids. They can't wait to chat it up with their hygienist, watch movies, play games, get toy prizes from the toy tower at the end. They are all about making each visit as happy and positive as possible for these kids. The staff - do they ever have a bad day? I'll never know because they are ALWAYS laughing and smiling. They can always strike a conversation about something that interests a child and put them at ease. Dr Thomas is just the best - kind, soft-spoken, efficient, and honest. My 6 yr old daughter has needed extensive work done and I can honestly say that she views him as a partner, someone who cares and wants to help - she never views him as the bad guy and he treats her with so much kindness and respect. She is not scared of him at all and they have a great relationship. I will never take her to anyone else if I can help it. I really wish I had a dentist like that when I was a child. Does the lobby get crowded? Sometimes. But there is a reason why he's so popular. Is it kind of weird when one of the assistants all of a sudden starts communicating through their very well hidden ear devices? Yes, but you get used to it and its all a part of how crazy efficiently-run this office is. They are WONDERFUL. read more

So disappointed, after reading the reviews I was so happy that I found a solution for my son's huge cavity that is hurting him and then I called the office and i was told that today would only be a consult appointment and no work would be done. We came with the hope that the doc would see that his tooth was aching and do something about it. They told me that we would be slated for the next available, in 5 days (including the weekend). Ouch, how can a saine parent let their child suffer with a tooth ache for the weekend. So sad I would have waited for 5 more days if I hadn't found a place that cared enough about my son's wellbeing to do what they could in stead of just sounding like they care.
