Ugh, I've been wanting to book the afternoon tea in the bow room for the longest!!! I'm so glad…read morethey opened a Hello Kitty Cafe in the Bay! We made a reservation for a party of two on a Sunday at 3:15pm to celebrate my birthday! It's $70 per person and we paid a deposit when booking. There is a pre-set tea menu with savory and sweet snacks and your selection of one beverage; tea, lemonade, iced tea. Mimosa and champagne is also available for an extra charge. They do ask if you have any food allergies or restrictions. Ugh, everything was soooo cute!!! The servers were also very sweet and friendly. The beverage selection was a bit overwhelming for me and I didn't know what to choose! One of the servers recommended us the mango iced tea, which was actually really good! However, I wish I would've gotten a hot tea, so I could use the cute tea pot, cups, and the hello kitty shaped sugar cube lol. I didn't think the snacks would be enough to fill us up, but we ended up having to pack leftovers! We really enjoyed the savory items; my favorite was the cucumber sandwiches and the egg salad cone! Out of the sweet items, I enjoyed the strawberry tart and strawberries and chocolate whipped cream parfait; which weren't so sweet! I'd definitely like to come back and order a hot tea next time so I could use the tea set hehe. This really fulfilled my inner child!

Whenever the Hello Kitty trucks come to a more local area, I have been unable to go. I love all of the decoration that is everywhere in the cafe. I also enjoyed that they offered many different treats and drink options. It was really hard for me not to buy everything! This is also located inside of the mall, so it is nice to be able to walk around. This is slightly far away from where I reside but I would love to come back and see what new and different treats they have to offer! I would also love to visit the Bow Room! Last time, we were unable to but it would be a really nice experience!

There was some issues with our reservation but the lady who helped us was super nice and was able to resolve the issue. The cat lounge pass comes with a complimentary drink! We got checked in and ordered our drinks before heading to the back where the cats were. We were given shoe covers and an overview of what to expect and what to do/don't with the cats. And before we go in, hand sanitize! I love how the group is limited so it isn't too crowded and the cats do not get overwhelmed. You get a good amount of time with all the cats. All the cats were very friendly and super cute! I had a great time! Drinks: - yakgwa einspanner: the korean cookie cream top was not too sweet and perfect combo with the cold brew. It came with a small yakgwa (korean honey cookie and it was yummy) 8/10 - green grape ade: a little sweet for me, tasted a bit artificial but it is as expected from a sparkling grape soda 6/10 Overall, had a great experience! If you love cats and Korean cafe drinks, this is the spot for you! Would definitely come back! Staff were friendly especially the lady who helped us out!

Parking nearby is horrendous, super busy even on the weekdays before the rush hour so I can't imagine weekends when people are out or other high traffic times. Get ready to make some rounds and pay for parking and be careful since there's very specific signage and times. The cafe itself is cute and cozy. Front area is a gift shop with lots of cat themed gifts and goodies like keychains, stickers, and such, and also some items from local and small artists too, which is neat. The cafe also has community events like movie showings ("The Cat Returns" was one of them which is a great choice) and cat yoga. If you're local, you can also get a time stamp if you are a frequent visitor. Definitely follow their socials for more information. There's reservations online and you can also do walk ins if it's not super busy. You can book for a 55 minute visit or a 30 minute visit. PRO-TIP: There's a discount for students, so if you want to be surrounded by some feline friends while you study or relax, great place to do so. You can hang your coat on the rack and there's a mini shelf area for your shoes. So you gotta walk in with socks! With each visit you can either get a hot cup of tea or a cold can or box drink from their fridge (sparking water, juices, etc.). Very refreshing and you can enjoy it in the cat area too. Sanitize your hands before and after visiting. There's lots of cats hiding around, sleeping, walking around, and some are super friendly and will go into your lap. There's toys you can play with the cats with and there's a wall of adoptable cats. Lots of seats or you can opt to sit on the floor with the cats too. There's relaxing lo-fi music throughout too. Pretty cool that they rescued 2 cats from Qatar and neat that we got to see them. As with all cats, some can be a bit spicy but it's usually just a warning teeth rub. I own cats so there's nothing new. I'm horribly allergic to the cat that specifically lives in my house, but I didn't get an allergy here, meaning that the cats are clean and well taken for. My favorite was a large sleepy orange boy, Ron (permanent non-adoptable resident) that was hanging out next to me the entire time.

We took off our socks and found a table to sit at. Some of the cats came up to greet us when we were sitting. There are also toys available for you to use to play with them. Many of the cats were napping or lounging around but don't mind if you come up to sit next to them and give them pets. There were all types of cats and some of them are actually available for adoption if you happen to fall in love with one!

I got the strawberry matcha and the seasonal lavender matcha. Both drinks were bitter and tasted watered down. Default sweetness was not too sweet but the matcha didn't have the creaminess even with regular milk. Strawberry puree was good but not enough to carry the diluted matcha. The matcha cream pie was solid. Soft matcha filling with very crispy edge. Whipped cream on top was also tasty. Would not come back here for the matcha. Maybe their food is better. With matcha coming out that quick feels like it wasn't prepared well and lost its quality. Street parking here or parking garage next street over.

I ordered two and they are honestly one of the best spritz I've had outside of Italy, and even better, more affordable than many other places in the area. That said, the coffee is definitely the highlight here, really well done. The crème brûlée was a standout for me as well, definitely worth trying. Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired, it felt pretty indifferent.
