First of all, Scott is an absolute gem of a human. From our very first interaction, he was warm, responsive, and genuinely excited to help make my daughter's 9th birthday special. He was totally flexible and ready to bake whatever combination of cupcakes we needed. I took a bit longer than planned to finalize the flavors and quantity (classic busy-parent moment ), but Scott didn't miss a beat. Even with the event date quickly approaching, he graciously moved forward and made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. We ordered 40 cupcakes--10 each of four different flavors--and every single one was outstanding. These Kick-Ass Cupcakes absolutely live up to their name. They were universally loved by everyone, from the birthday girl to every last guest. Thank you so much, Scott, for taking such wonderful care of us. Late review as i meant to post this a while ago but delicious cupcakes, great variety to suit different preferences. The service is stellar with being able to be fit in at the last minute (2.5 dozen variety mix) ad very responsive. Easy pickup. JUST ORDER THEM. I had a cupcake craving and reached out to Scott based on his yelp and reviews and asked about his rescue cupcakes (amazing idea for leftovers) he didn't have any that day so I put an order in after looking at ALL his flavors. We got the chocolate toffee crunch. HOLY CUPCAKE HEAVEN, I am snob when it comes to good desserts and this flavor was magical, it was the perfect ratio and not overly sweet and sooo moist. My husband and I were shocked at how delicious they were. We will be ordering plenty more in the future! This is my 3rd or 4th time ordering from Scott. Never had a problem with the orders. Gave Scott well over a week to prep a dozen, but last minute, ordered an additional 6 cupcakes. Of course, we had to have the German Chocolate and Red Velvet. We tried the new flavor, Shirley Temple. Definitely were not disappointed with any of the flavors. Some of us had seconds. Placed an order for 12 mini red velvet cupcakes and Scott graciously gifted a regular sized one for my daughter's birthday. They were yummy - perfect amount of frosting versus cake and not too overly sweet but hits the spot for any cupcake fan. Scott times the baking so the cakes are made fresh from the oven near the designated pickup time. Service was friendly, prompt and kind via text. Amazing experience end to end. Needed cupcakes last min found on yelp called a day before answered right away very kind and accommodating. Picked up the next morning very communicative throughout ready right as promised. Hand delivered to my car even buckled my cupcakes in the front seat. Left a sweet birthday card for my son on top of the order. My teenage boy and all his friends loved them! They said the cupcakes were 'fire'! (Our very first order with Kick Ass Cupcakes) Scott is beyond amazing! He is super flexible and easy to work with. I gave a last minute order at 10:15am and cupcakes were already ready by 11:30am :-O I don't think any other vendor would take such last min order as deliver such pretty cupcakes. The birthday potluck event was at noon and everyone enjoyed the cupcakes. For pickup, we arrived 10mins late due to traffic and he was still very flexible. Delicious cupcakes that are not overly sweet. I ordered four flavors with 6 cupcakes each flavor: BananaNilla Cream - I was surprised these were my favorite because I'm normally neutral toward banana. These had a delicious cream on the inside and vanilla wafer on top. S'mores - Fantastic presentation with the real chocolate, graham cracker, and marshmallow on top. Red Velvet - Moist and delicious like the others. Raspberry Vanilla - Nice fruit flavor with a bit of tart from the raspberry. I asked Scott what flavors he recommends I try in the future and he replied that it's difficult to answer because all of the flavors are based off his childhood favorites, but he named two to try -- Chocolate Sandwich Cookie Crunch (Oreo) and Chocolate Caramel Peanut Butter. read more

These are officially my favorite cupcakes in the South Bay. No one comes close; they seriously kick ass. Baked fresh with TLC in a home kitchen, these cupcakes are incredibly moist, light, fluffy, packed with flavor but not overly sweet. The only challenge with no store front is it requires some pre-planning. But Scott is a master baker so reach out to see what magic he can pull off. Picking up the cupcakes we're a breeze. Scott was very communicative over text and swiftly brought my order to my car. It felt like I was visiting a friend. On to the cupcakes. I ordered: - Strawberry whip: my Korean mom approved! Super light, fluffy, moist, and gentle sweetness. My toddler and parents loved this one. - Strawberry lemonade: Let's start with the smell...HEAVENLY! The strawberry and lemon comes through your nose first. Flavors are mostly in the frosting but the cupcake itself is tangy and so moist. I love the cake. There's something about the way the frosting is twirled that looks so elegant and beautiful. It's topped with half a strawberry; so cute. - S'mores: This one surprised us all. It looks like it would be very decadent but it's still light and moist with just the right amount of sweetness for my liking. The toppings were so generous, picture-perfect, and so yummy--s'mores in a single, small bite! Will definitely get this again, along with the above. Scott is an absolute gem! I called a day before an event and he squeezed us into his busy schedule. He was able to accommodate my order and then some. Pick up, paying is so seamless and the cupcakes are amazing. Everyone at our party was raving about them and loved each flavor. I was a little apprehensive at first but was blown away by the end. Such an awesome experience! Today was my bosses birthday, who's also a VP and also my friend! I had wanted to send her something all day but escalation after escalation kept hitting us and it wasn't until 4:30pm that I picked my head up out of my laptop.
