I love Beijing Dumpling! I haven't stepped foot into the location but I place my orders on seamless and lick my fingers clean every time. I enjoy their pan fried shrimp dumplings and veggie dumplings, but nothing compares to the vegetable noodle soup! Always add the spicy cilantro! It's not super "dragon fire mouth spicy" but more like "mild taki spicy" where you can continue to eat while constantly saying how spicy it is hahaha. My mouth is watering as I'm writing this review. Very promising Chinese take out spot. What seems like any other Chinese restaurant chain is actually a one of a kind; freshly prepared takeout treasure that will not disappoint your taste buds. Also there bubble tea is on point. Beijing Dumpling is a hidden treasure I wish them loads of success. they're the only unconventional freshly prepared Chinese food takeout that I can think of. This is a welcomed addition to the mediocre ethnic foods that we have in this neighborhood. Pros: the taste of the dumplings are good. The wrappers are on the thicker side but the filling is juicy so it's not big deal. The people working there are nice. They are eager to please you. Cons: for a place that specializes in dumplings, there is very little variety. For the pork option, there is pork and chives and that's it. Pork and cabbage is a standard dumpling option and they don't have it. Although they do have a pork and cabbage bun, so why not just make it a dumpling option too? While the workers are very nice, the service is soooo slow. I've been there a handful of times and have waited a good 15-20 for my order. It wasn't even the dumplings that took a long time. The dumplings were sitting there while they put together other stuff. I'll go back there for dumplings when I don't feel like driving somewhere. read more

I got the pork and chives dumplings, which were good but I was hoping there would be more juice when biting into them. Been here multiple times to eat spicy wontons in chili oil. So gooooodddd. One of my favorites

Went here couple times and got dumplings and smoothies. The dumplings were good but the smoothies were great the first few times I went there. The last two times I went there the smoothies totally changed. They went from being perfectly blended and smooth to overly thick , super sweet, and filled with huge ice chunks, even after asking for the smoothie to be re-blended it was still chunky and icy. Hands down some very good food here. Love the dumplings, the soup, and even the Japanese platters. Dumplings are not super doughy, and have a nice balance. All the flavors are fresh and the ingredients. Vibe is very relaxed and restaurant is small. But if your in the mood for dumplings don't skip out. two stars for trying, had the veggie noodle soup, no depth in the broth, just a ton of miso, overly salty the noodles themselves werent the worst but there is definitely a ton of room for improvement wont be spending my money here but wish them the best didnt give the dumplings a try, maybe those may make up the difference read more

I ordered dumplings the first time and the food was just ok. The second time I ordered I got their fried rice which tasted like old oil and dumplings that were not fully cooked. Dumplings are great, actually. However, I have been 3 times and they have made the bubble tea very bitter TWICE. Once is an honest mistake. Twice means they don't know what they are doing. I love this place. First time having dan dan noodles and it is so flavorful. We had the beef noodle soup, flavorful and beef is tender. Wontons were great and the chili oil on top was delicious. Smells better too. Sesame pancake beef sandwich was okay. The best thing is that after all those flavorful deliciousness, I am not even thirsty! Just found a gem and will be coming back very soon. Essentially a take-out shop due to its small size, Beijing Dumpling doesn't disappoint. The Spicy Beef Sesame Pancake was flavorful and filling, as were the vegetable Pan Fried Dumplings and the Hot and Sour Soup. My only minor complaint is that the dumpling wrappers are a little thicker, and therefore a little chewier, than I'd prefer. You can get a pretty decent 2 person meal for like $25 and that's if you're a fatty like I am who wants more food for later. I would skip the steamed buns and bubble tea though and just stick with the dumplings, noodles, and pancakes. read more

Beijing Dumpling adds to the Forest Hills food scene by providing high quality food at very affordable prices: I'm currently enjoying a bountiful spinach and mushroom wonton soup for $5.70 and a week ago I enjoyed their large scallion pancake sandwich for under $4. My mother in law is from Shanghai and asserts their wontons are authentic and quite good (but not as good as her own). I'd say it's a slightly higher quality version of the neighborhood favorite Vanessa's dumplings in the the lower east side. Easily my favorite 2019 entrant into the neighborhood, I plan to eat here frequently. read more

I have now been here twice in total. The service is fast and the staff are friendly with a smile. I have never seen it crowded which is nice and there is a bench to sit on while you wait for your food if you are on the go. I'll have to try more options, but I give their dan dan noodles a B+! My only wish is that they added more Sichuan pepper to the mixture because while it is spicy enough, it lacks the mouth numbing sensation you get from most places that prepare this dish. Love this little place. If you want authentic high quality ingredient dumplings, then this is your place to go to. The dumplings are delicious, seasoned perfectly, and best of all "no fats" they use lean meat unlike most other chinese places.
