I have ordered it 3 different times and each time, they are the same juicy and satisfying dumpling. Not a single flaw in them honestly. I have tried their kimchi and its unqiue, in that, I never had kimchi that has been aged with ginger. It tastes pretty good if you like your kimchi to have some sweetness. A pro tip is that I ORDER AHEAD OF TIME on Yelp and the order is always ready either a few minutes earlier or on time. It is worth it to order ahead, especially if you are impatient and starving. I would say the wait is no more than 20 minutes for the dumplings. I have tried the beef and vegetable... those are equally as good. But I am just obsessed with the chicken! read more

I use to get their sesame pancakes and it was amazing I but I found out I can't have them because they fry it in the same stove as their meats :( which makes me sad cause those sesame pancakes were my favorite thing to get from here. I really truly enjoy the dumplings here! I tried the chicken and chive and the shrimp pan fried dumplings and they were around $2.75 for 4 medium size dumplings. The dumpling themselves were plump with meaty filling and tasted homemade. I am taking 1 star off for their bubble tea which was way too sweet and left much to be desired. With the pan fried dumpling, I liked the wrapper - not chewy or hard and filled enough with pork and chives. Noodles had a good bite to them; are used for the soup and Dandan. Very tender beef in the soup and broth was ok. I don't think I've had Dandan noodles with spicy beef to compare this with, but I liked that it wasn't overly spicy; noted black beans and pepper seeds but not much beef. The sesame pancake sandwich with peking duck had too much sauce; and wished the bread was toasted or heated up first. Prices are good though. Service is great. Very friendly employees. We went at night and stayed to eat and it was too warm inside, even after the door was opened. There is a small fan on one side and thankfully after a while, it cooled off a bit in there. These are solid dumplings, though not going to make my list of best dumplings, however they are quite cheap, especially compared to the numerous other new Chinese dumpling spots that have popped up in this neighborhood as of late, contributing to F Hills being labeled as the cities newest Chinatown by many. While these are not nearly as delicious as the ones offered on the other side of the hood at the excellent Memories of Shanghai (which I have also just reviewed), the price usually winds up being about half as much here, so its my go-to in the event that they are closed, which for some reason seems to happen quite often, or if I'm just feeling a bit cheaper. Be that as it may be, they definitely replicated much of the menu including a variety of handmade noodles, steamed and fried dumplings and even frozen takeaway dumplings (30pc per bag) should you wish to enjoy them at home. Oh yes, and each table has the customary bottles of dumpling and sriracha sauce! Living in Kew Gardens we have no shortage of "American" style Chinese but suffer the absence of authentic Chinese in the vicinity. I'm frankly overjoyed at the prospect of being able to pick up a steaming plate of spicy pork dumplings doused with scallion and hot chili oil or some DanDan noodles whenever I wish. A dumpling place in the neighborhood that doesn't charge crazy prices? Yes, please. Very cute and clean establishment. You place your order, get your ticket, pay and wait for your food to be ready. There are 2 tables with 4 chairs at each table and a third table with bench seating on one side. There is also a counter so you can stand and eat. The staff is very friendly. We got our order to go: 2 orders each of pan fried chive & pork and vegetable dumplings, 1 order of pan fried pork bun and 1 sesame pancake. The sesame pancake was thick and nice and chewy with some scallion mixed in. Very tasty and I'm sure even tastier as one of their sandwiches. The dumplings were delicious had a good dough to filling ratio. They were also pan fried to a nice golden brown. The pork buns were fried nicely as well but we felt the filling was a bit on the dry side and could have used some more moisture. We will definitely be frequenting Beijing Dumpling and look forward to trying their noodles, sandwiches and bubble teas! Decent dumplings and cute new hole-in-the-wall. I think their hot oil wontons are the best. The veggie with the mushroom is more flavorful than the meat ones. Don't get the sesame pancakes - they are much too large of a pancake-to-filling ratio which leaves one unsatisfied. I do think this is a rather affordable hole-in-the-wall and a great option for those craving hot oil dumplings and don't want to trek to Flushing for them. read more

This place is relatively close to my job. I've ordered delivery twice with my co-workers. The first time I had the spicy wonton and the pork bun. The wonton was delicious. I didn't like the pork bun...too much bun and not enough pork. The second time I ordered I had the dan dan noodles and the steamed chicken and basil dumplings. I ordered delivery through Yelp: Pan Fried Chive and Pork Dumplings, Pan Fried Basil and Chicken Dumplings, Boiled Chive and Pork Dumplings. The food arrived in 45 minutes (ASAP order). I liked the dumplings. I prefer the boiled dumplings over the pan-fried ones, but both are nice. Plenty of sauce. The dumplings came with 2 free small containers of dumpling sauce (similar to soy sauce) and 2 containers of another sauce that seemed to be a thinner sriracha sauce. Those would have been enough, although I also ordered 5 containers of hot chili oil not knowing there would be any free sauce. Don't skip out on this dumpling spot! Such a dangerously good addition to the neighborhood. I kind of wish I didn't discover this spot because it's so close to the Kew Gardens station and I will probably be tempted to run here whenever I'm craving dumplings (I'll definitely need to use my willpower to resist lol). The boyfriend wanted to test out that spicy level of the Dan Dan Noodles and as much as I shouldn't be eating spicy I had to test it out myself. The spice doesn't hit you at first but it's definitely there especially if you really mix in that sauce they top it off with, which seemed like hot chili oil I want to say? Nontheless the boyfriend added more hot sauce because he's crazy like that and I have yet to find a place that has had anything too spicy for him to handle. I also ordered the Peking Duck and Beef Sesame Pancake Sandwiches. I guess I assumed they were small like other places I've had them so I definitely ended up saving one for lunch the next day. The Pecking Duck one is by far my favorite because well I love Pecking Duck and it was just so mouthwateringly delicious. Then l had the spicy dumplings in a spicy sauce l just randomly picked the picture looked great on the menu and they didn't disappoint at all then l tried their bubble tea and it was delicious!!!!
