My wife and I were moving from a temporary condo (had a house fire) to our new home which consisted of moving all of our belongings in the unit, below in storage and also in a rented storage unit in another town. We had a ton of small stuff and managed to box a fair amount, while the stuff in storage was literally just packed in floor to ceiling. We were scheduled to close at the end of June so I foolishly started calling around maybe 10 days prior for a mover, thinking it would be slow before college students moving back in...was I wrong. I called all of the big names first, and even with their fleet of trucks most were either booked solid or charging outrageous fees. So I checked out Yelp* to see what they could suggest and of course right at the top was Bee's Moving. Having never heard of them (since I never move, ha ha!) I was at first skeptical, especially when they told me they could move me on the date requested, then quoted me a price. (a little back story: my wife owns a commercial treadmill like those found in gyms, it weighs well over 600lbs., the company that initially moved it into our condo quoted me literally $100/lb., but Bee's charged me a fifth of that!!) After reading the reviews here I decided to book with them and waited for the big day. Remember that horrible heatwave we had at the end of June into July? Yeah, they moved all of our stuff in that with no issues whatsoever. Everything was handled carefully and professionally, they were overly polite and made sure I was completely satisfied with their service. Now comes the "above and beyond" part most people hope to get with a moving company. We had a new rather expensive washer and dryer, and there was now a dime-sized scuff on it, which had no effect whatsoever on it working properly. It is to be expected that sometimes things like this happen, esp. when moving so much stuff. Did Bee's try to place blame elsewhere? No. Did they ignore me hoping I'd just move on? No, it took one call and they more than resolved the issue, even making sure to personally followup to make sure we were satisfied. Now think about it: how many times do you REALLY need a moving company? Now factor that in with how great they were AFTER the move. Look, moving can be nerve wracking, esp. when some are known to "tack on" fees after the fact, or you find your valuables in less than ideal condition. If you have more money than brains, feel free to use one of the big names here, hope they won't do any the above, let alone have an open booking at a GOOD price. I feel so confident from my experience with them, that I could literally guarantee that EVERY move with them would be just as great, I can't say enough how great Matt, Brandon and their crew really were. After living through a house fire, the only thing that has been as great as finally moving into a new home has been doing it with this company. read more

I was helping my brother-in-law move from NYC to Boston and he got a late start and dealt with traffic coming up. When we knew it would be a late start we started calling around looking for help. The guys from Bees Moving were available on short notice and arrived on time. They made quick work of unloading the U-Haul. Making even the biggest pieces of furniture look easy. Whole job was done in 45 minutes and they got a desk up the stairs and inside that we would have had to leave on the curb - still not sure how they did it - real pros! I bought an Groupon for Bee's storage back in January because I was in the process of buying a condo and simply did not want to move my stuff again (would be 3rd time in the past year). Called Bee's up and they were incredibly professional and pleasant on the phone. I set up a date to have them come in and get my stuff for 8AM and they showed up right on time. Everything was already pretty much boxed up but needless to say they had my whole apartment in the back of their truck in an hour and a half! Moved across town to my new condo and had the whole job done about an hour later, total in about 3 and a half hours! I couldn't have done it that quickly with 4 of my buddies, possibly because they would be hammering beers the whole time.. but still incredibly fast work by 2 guys from Bees Moving & Storage! With their rates and schedule and professional attitude I have to recommend them to anyone who has to move but does not want to move their own stuff! NINETEEN STARS would not be enough for this outfit. This was the 4th time I used them for my business. The appointment was for 9 am sharp. Matt was so very sharp that he arrived at 8:45. I've used moving companies and Bee's moving & Storage is one of the best I've used. Below is my experience. My wife and I were in a pickle. It was mid-August and we had just landed at Logan Airport on a Thursday evening. Back from a two week vacation and having completely forgotten that we had to move out of our place 14 days from our return, to our newly purchased home. Oh boy. We called around, filled out numerous online estimates, but everyone was fully booked. It was expected considering that it was the end of summer, at the peak of the busy season. Eventually, one company told us about Bee's Moving and Storage, referring to them as a smaller player in the market. I called and a friendly voice on the phone told us that they'd be available, got our information, found out what needed to be moved and gave us an estimate. It was all very quick and painless. They even called to confirm a few days prior. On moving day the two guys showed up with a truck and moved all of our stuff. They even threw us a few boxes and some packing tape. They were very good at what they do and got everything done easily and painlessly. Kudos. I would definitely do business with them again or recommend them. read more

Our experience with Bee's was excellent. They squeezed us in at the last minute, and the team of movers moved at lightning speed and with unbelievable energy. I overheard an illustrative exchange from within the truck when they were loading a drawer cabinet from which I had removed the drawers. A: "It's pretty light, the drawers aren't in it." Brandon and Matt are amazing! I'd like to give them 6 Stars if I could! I am a repeat customer of theirs. They are dependable, cordial, focused, professional, SO down to earth, and so hard working. My last move was awful and Brandon made things happen with packing, moving, and getting things going out the door and into the new place. Matt, is soooo dependable with the follow through and making sure all needs are met and secured. Brandon actually helped me out w/ my first and 2nd move. The second move was during a torrential down pour. I had specifically asked for Brandon and sure enough, he and the other mover was there and early! Hiring a moving company is a fantastic idea. Looking for a moving company one to two weeks before you move is not such a good idea. Bee's Moving was one of the few companies that was willing to accommodate me in my procrastinary ways. Their quote was competitive and for the most part, they were very easy to deal with. The movers were incredibly strong, friendly guys who worked extremely hard and even gave us funny tips about our new 'hood. They were right on time and they took great care of our stuff. However, all wasn't peas and carrots. The office didn't communicate our needs clearly to the movers and they were understaffed to deal with our obnoxious fourth floor walk-up. They generously brought in two extra guys to help on the moving out end and only charged us for one of them. However, with better communication, they could have avoided the issue altogether. They also wrote a different price on the contract than was originally quoted (about $10 more). This was fixed immediately after I pointed it out, but was more evidence of disorganization. One of the fellows bothered us a little by frequently insisting that we stop trying to help move things. However, as it was our apartment and our dime (by the hour), we didn't mind doing some lifting and found that a little frustrating. (Perhaps it's a liability issue?) Anyway, between the fourth floor walk-up on one end and our new landlord razzing the movers the entire time on the other, they were really good natured guys and behaved admirably. All in all, we were thrilled to have the help of Bee's. None of our stuff was damaged and the quote matched the final price almost to the penny. Every small issue we had was dealt with immediately and satisfactorily. We are looking to move this September and called Bee's to get a quote. We tried to set up an on-site estimate. In trying to collaborate with their representative, Matthew, on a Saturday, he was very noncommittal, not stating a particular time but rather saying he'd come "mid-day". After emailing him at 11am, he responded, "Oh I just need to finish this job, it should be an hour!". An hour passes... two.... We are sitting at home waiting... Four hours pass. We email again. No response this time. We wasted an entire Saturday afternoon waiting at home for a flaky, irresponsible representative of Bee's that didn't even have the common courtesy to email back and explain himself or apologize. Avoid Bees at all costs. They're clearly not what they once were. read more

Eased my STRESS!!!! First, I was in search of a moving company that was inexpensive, reliable and had workers that can move all my stuff quickly out of state. I had never had to hire movers before and I was somewhat anxious. My friend recommend Bee's! Price: I did all my research and the ones in my area were waaay too high for a one bedroom apartment. Bee's were incredibly reasonable considering I was traveling 80 miles away and they are located in Brighton, MA. Customer Service: They sent me a quote via email within 24 hours. I contacted the company and spoke to Hakim. He was super cool and expressed that all will go well. He even gave me suggestions on how the pack and make the move go faster. Pack, label, and separate glasses from tables so they can wrap up. His suggestions help me become more organized and made the loading much faster. I was lucky to have two movers (Brandon and Jarrod). They were like "supermen"!! Every time I turned around they were picking up heavy boxes or totes with rapid speed and strength. They told me I had no heavy items and this was "easy" for them. They were also polite and friendly. Recommendation: I strongly encourage you to hire these guys for every move. It was the best decision I made. These guys worked hard and quickly without a complaint. Hook them up by ... 1. providing them some water (really! they don't stop working. I had to block the door way just to give them water. You can't have your workers passing out. lol) 2. tip well And BTW Ladies.... They are easy on the eyes!! The best/worst part of moving on 9/1 is that everyone else is moving that day. This means it will be obscenely busy, but it also means that the torture is over in a single day. We spent a lot of time packing our apartment before the movers showed up. We have what I will delicately call "a whole bunch of crap," but three movers and one truck moved us from a 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment to a 2nd floor apartment down the street in about 3 hours total, excluded the time we had to burn waiting for the previous tenants to vacate our new home. The movers were pretty great - they were generally careful with our stuff, they moved pretty quickly, and they displayed good problem solving skills that were outside my imagination, which was nice. The only real downsides were price, which I understand, and scheduling confusion, which I don't. There was a brief moment of panic in which it seemed like our reservation had not been taken and we were about to have to move our stuff alone and truckless, but that got resolved in about an hour when one owner talked to the other. read more

My storage unit was at Simply Storage on North Beacon ST in Brighton. I called them to ask who they recommend for moving companies and they said Bee's. I called a week before my move date (January) and spoke with Brandon. He was great to work with. When he called me the Sunday before my move I was unable to answer my phone. We talked via text messaging. SO EASY. The day of my move the guys, Keen, Matthew and Jarrod showed up early to Simply Storage and got all my stuff from my unit and came to Cambridge. The unit I moved into was brand new. I was very VERY nervous that something was going to get scratched, or dreaded holes in my new walls. My only issue was that they did not tell me in my quote that hoisting was an extra charge. Its $75 for the first piece and $25 for each one after that. This made my move $125 move than I was quoted. What was I supposed to do? Not have them hoist my stuff over the porch? Since my quote was for a second floor condo, this should have been mentioned. other than that, this was a move with no issues or complaints. read more

My wife and i have been moving around the country quite a bit since 2004. I count 7 times and maybe with almost 10 different moving companies! I gotta say, hands down best of the maybe 100 different companies i researched over the years. Our last move from seattle to boston was made by yours truly driving a 26 foot penske truck. (ouch) Our moving company couldn't see eye to eye with me on the price so i called a local mover to load my recently rented truck ( btw, always go penske for long hauls, and diesel truck is much better). We arrived in Boston 8/21/2012 without a place to call home(stayed with friends) and had a 2 day window to return the truck or incur further fees. Desperately, i searched through yelp and other websites looking for movers that can accommodate me. Sure i went with movers with the most reviews first, searching for the closest available and most highly rated ones. Imagine having to book a move at one of the most busiest time of the year ! No one could help! Bees moving saved me that day. Almost no notice and they have storage! They had other appointments that day but assembled a team ( i can imagine Matt yelling' a-team assemble!') My knights in shining armor (or at least yellow shirts). These guys were great. I had Will and Jeremiah and they were AWESOME. They moved me out of a PACKED storage unit and into my new apartment and it even cost less than their estimate! Even though it was cheaper than expected, I didn't feel like they were rushing or being sloppy - they treated all my things very nicely, secured everything extremely well, and even helped set up my bed in my new apartment so that I could sleep on it that night! They lost one star because there were some miscommunications, I requested an afternoon move but they told me they scheduled me for the morning, I changed my schedule around and the day before they move they said that I'd be their afternoon move. Also, the guys with the truck didn't have the record of my deposit, but they quickly adjusted the bill when I pointed it out. Overall, fantastic and I will definitely use them again!!! read more

I used Bee's for a move from the Inman/Union Square area of Somerville to Beacon street in Boston. My move itself was a bit under duress, and they were able to accommodate me with about a week's notice, and checked in during the week to ensure everything was still on. I used their groupon deal, and it was all very easy and smooth. They did show up a little late, but I'm not docking any stars because they had a good reason (their morning move didn't reserve the elevator in their building which caused some delays) and were very communicative with me about their ETA. Brandon and Matty were my movers, and they HUSTLED. And, extra points for putting up with my dad who sees himself as a bit of a "supervisor" in these scenarios ;) All in all, great service, great company! Book them for your next move! read more

Our overall experience with Bee's was excellent. We moved on 8/20/11. Our crew (Shane & Jon) showed up on time, they moved quickly, and handled everything with care. They emptied out my third floor studio apartment (narrow staircase with two turns, for added difficulty) in about half an hour. Then they drove up the street to my boyfriend's place and loaded up his 1BR worth of stuff (the amount of which I woefully underestimated) quickly and without a problem. They dealt with annoying , narrow, JP side streets in that truck like pros. Then they drove all that crap down to Norwood and loaded it all into our 2-story townhouse. The whole shebang, with drive time, was just over 4 hours. Very fast by my books. They came in well under budget and were by far the best priced crew around. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat. The only negatives have been mentioned before--it seems like it's time to hire a person or two handle the front office. It took a looooooong time for anyone to answer my acceptance of their quote, to take my deposit, to schedule me (and I started to get really nervous about booking someone else with a late August move), and it took them almost a week to even charge my card for the final bill. I also had a few occasions where someone would "get back to me tomorrow" that took a week... I understand it's a small, local company but Bee's you are doing yourself a disservice by having your customer service functions so understaffed. You're a great little moving company, but the slow and scattered response times probably scare more than a few folks off...I almost turned tail and looked for another company myself. read more

We just moved on Friday (it was a local move within Boston) and had a fantastic experience with Bee's. First of all, I decided to use Bee's AFTER finding out they had recently had a Groupon. When I called, I was asked if I was a Groupon customer. I said no, I had missed the Groupon, and Brandon offered to give me a discounted rate without my even asking - wow! He gave us $10/hour off of the moving rate. Our move date changed 3 times because the closing on our new condo was delayed, and Bee's accommodated us each time without any problems, assuring me I would not lose any money as long as the move was not canceled! Each time we needed it, they had time to move us. Shane and Jon were our movers and they were awesome. Most importantly, they took great care of our furniture/boxes and were incredibly efficient (they had to take apart our bed, take legs off our couch, take off doors - and put everything back together super quickly). As a bonus, they were both really nice guys (who didn't complain once about having to try to move huge furniture up multiple staircases until they found a way for it to work) and even helped us with a couple of extra things when they were off the clock. My only (very minimal) complaint was that it was a bit hard to get in contact with someone over the phone. I think they are really busy over there, so unless they picked up the phone when I called, I typically did not get a call back. But this was super minimal. Overall, so worth the money we spent (which was a very competitive rate) and made what could have been a very stressful day very pleasant! read more

THESE GUYS ARE GOOD! They were slammed when I tried to contact them to schedule a move (Thanks to Groupon) - Brandon was good in communicating their issues, and responded back to me even if it's late at night. They ran late on the day of the move - and called us early in the day to let us know about the delay. The movers were wonderful (Shane, Taylor and Brandon). Nice, hard working guys - extremely friendly, jovial, but most importantly, extremely efficient. We were worried about moving furniture up/down spiral staircases, but they maneuvered with ease - with no need to pass furniture over a balcony. Due to unexpected circumstances, we had to ask them to wait to move stuff into a storage unit - no complaints whatsoever even though it was later than we had discussed and late in the day (with one guy having to commute back to Rhode Island). Reasonably priced. I got a couple of quotes out there - and even though the move was longer than we anticipated and they had to wait for us, the overall price was still cheaper than their competitors. We may be moving again in a few months - my wife and I already agreed that we would use them again without getting a competitive quote! read more

Straight out the best moving company I have EVER used and believe me, this queen does not move herself and have run the gammet with movers! I have had Gentle Giants, I have had strange men in an unmarked truck, large companies and small moving companies but I've never had a locally owned, and locally grown moving company help me with my move before and have been so happy with the job! Just a few of the details, the price COULD NOT BE MATCHED, believe me, I checked and checked! The level of personalized service, unmatched! Phone calls were returned, emails returned and Brandon was extremely polite each and every time! I work in the service industry and this is an A++ for me! To continue, everything I had not already wrapped, they took the time to wrap, everything was done neatly, quickly and gently. NOTHING broke and NOTHING got scratched, can't say that's ever happened! And one last bit, they even went out of the way and picked up a love seat I bought in the South End before heading to my move, saved my ass SO much trouble! SO PLEASE USE THIS COMPANY for your moves, not only are they they a 5 star moving company, you are helping a local business sustain our economy and I don't know about you, but that made the whole thing even more worth the while! I feel kind of bad about this review because the guys who actually moved our stuff were great, and if they worked for any other company I'm sure our move would have been fine. However, the company management is really terrible. First of all, they had us down for the wrong day, so even though we had reserved everything months in advance they ended up moving in our stuff a day late. The arrival estimate for the next day was wrong too, because for some reason the guy who gave me the quote didn't account for any traffic between Boston and New York. Once everything was done, the actual charge was over 25% higher than the quote, even though we had an in-home estimate. I finally managed to get Brandon to agree to split the difference between the new cost and the estimate, but even then they ended up charging my credit card twice, so I was charged almost $5,000! When I called to tell them about it, Brandon kept telling me that someone else handles that stuff but it would be taken care of. Ultimately it took over a week to resolve. I cannot recommend these guys more highly. Only an idiot like me would move in the middle of February, on Super Bowl Sunday, after a week of 3 snowstorms. I was worried they wouldn't be able to even get the truck down the street, or that someone would slip on the ice. But everything worked out great! Brandon and Matt were absolutely terrific. They were efficient and careful with my things, plus they were super friendly and made it even fun. The extra bonus that won me over? They were able to free my car from the ice where it had been stuck for a week! If it hadn't been for them, I would be living out of my stationary car! I had a Groupon, but even without they were reasonably priced. They were conscious of the time and cost to me. I really can't recommend them more highly! We recently moved from a storage are to our new home. The gentlemen who moved us couldn't have been nicer or more thorough. The wrapped everything and secured with tape. Called Brandon midsummer to try and figure out my sept. 1 move. They managed to squeeze my move in first thing in the morning on one of the worst moving days of the year. Communication (via phone and email) has been great, no problem getting a letter for the city bond (so that I could pick up occupancy permits myself (they'll do it for you too)), no problems with the paypal deposit either. Little late getting started, but they called on the way and were great to work with while moving (along with half the city). Price was as quoted and very reasonable. Patient guys when my realtor got stuck in traffic bringing the key to me, and helpful when we got up to the apt and the painters/cleaners were all over the place. Patient, helpful, and not one thing broke! I will definitely use Bee's again (especially as I'll eventually have to move OUT of my new 4th floor walk up) and can't recommend them enough. I had moved with Bee's Moving two times before my last move with them, and was consistently satisfied. But they must be under new management now, or have for some other reason suffered a serious decline in quality of service. I wanted to schedule a move on September 1 from Boston to Connecticut. I filled out the online form, and received a message indicating that it might be impossible to schedule a September 1 move because of the high volume on that day. They indicated that, if I had flexibility as to the date, they could offer me discounted storage. Since I did have flexibility, I decided to move out of my Boston apartment a few days before September 1 and into storage, and then from storage to Connecticut on September 2. The first problem (which should have been a warning sign) involved repeated problems with the estimates. I kept getting estimates indicating the wrong moving address. I emailed to notify them of this problem, and they didn't respond. Finally I called, and then they corrected the estimate. I chose to go ahead with scheduling the move. On the day I was to move out of my Boston apartment, I was told they would arrive around 2 pm. The movers instead arrived after 6 pm. Because I was moving from my Boston apartment to Bee's Moving's storage, I was not going to accompany them; instead, I was told that they would call me when they were done moving me into storage, so I would know when the clock stopped. When it passed 9 o'clock and they still hadn't called, I tried calling them. No one answered. I tried several more times. Finally I reached them at around 11. They told me not to worry, and that they had finished several hours earlier, but had simply forgotten to call. When I saw my credit card charges, however, I found that they had charged me for the full six hours. On September 2 they told me they would arrive between 12 and 2. Again they did not arrive until after 5. At this point they also discovered that they had forgotten to bring several of my things, including (most importantly) the screws and other pieces necessary to reassemble my bed. Hence my bed could not be reassembled. They told me that they would come back later in the week to deliver my forgotten stuff. This was the first week of a new job, and yet they did not seem to understand that it was not the best week to miss work in order to give them an opportunity to complete the move that should already have been completed--particularly since, given my experience with them, I knew that they probably would not actually arrive when they said they would. Sure enough, on Wednesday I left work early, having been told that they would come by that evening to deliver my missing stuff. They never arrived. They called the following day, saying that it was in fact that day that they would be back in the area, and could deliver my stuff. Again I left work early, and again they never showed. Finally, they said that they would come over the weekend. First they said they would come on Saturday. Instead, they showed up on Sunday. Also, they never actually found the parts that they had lost to reassemble the bed. Instead, they went to the hardware store and purchased parts that were similar, but not quite right. So the bed is now wobbly and creaky. I expressed my irritation at the pageant of mistakes that the move had become, particularly since the final charges had ended up being nearly 1/3 higher than the estimate. They expressed contrition, and said that they would call me later the following week to arrange for the portion of charges in excess of the estimate to be refunded to my account. They never called. I then called them several times and left messages. They never called back. In short, Bee's Moving is a company of thieves, liars, and incompetents. Unless you want to experience what I've experienced, I would suggest that you steer clear. read more

This is my first experience with movers, and next time I'm going with a moving company other than Bee's for one reason: when I asked about the details of the bill (i.e. why it was much higher than I had anticipated) Brandon (aka 'Randy') exploded with unchecked belligerence. I seriously thought he was going to start swinging. The move took longer than expected because although there were two of them only one guy (the friendly J) spent most of his time moving objects in and out of the various apts., a strategy I think increased the time significantly. It's hard work sure, but if I'm paying by the hour I expect you to keep at it. They charged me 15$ for fuel and tolls even though both locations were within a mile of their main location, and within a mile of eachother (the total trip with their van couldn't've exceeded three miles). Also, some things arrived scratched even though they had brought more than enough blankets to cover all the sensitive materials. They'll get the job done I suppose, but if you go with Bee's be prepared not to know what you're paying for...unless you like feeling as if you're about to enter into a bar fight. My experience with Bee's Moving was nothing short of horrific. So when my roommate asked me yesterday what movers I would recommend, I reminded her of my experience with Bee's. Upon looking on yelp with her, I saw I had failed to review them after the experience. This was last year, around the beginning of June. I did a ton of research on yelp and ended up feeling that these guys were the best bet. I had one phone conversation with the guy to set things up, but then didn't hear back from them (despite multiple phone calls on my part) until the day before the move. I took the day off from work and sat around waiting for them to arrive. They gave me a time window of about 9-10am as their arrival. That passed and I put a call in to check on their ETA. The guy said they'd be there very soon, were on their way, and that things had run long with their previous appointment. I waited until 12pm, but still hadn't heard back, so I called again and was again told they were going to be there soon. To make a long story short, this continued all day. By the time they finally said they could make it over, it was about 5pm. Apparently a previous customer had not been correct about their move in day so they had had to reschedule for the day that I was already scheduled in?! I ended up having to take the next day off, since by 5pm it was too late for them to move me. They arrived about thirty minutes late the next morning, which was no big deal. The two guys they sent did not appear to be professional movers, but rather two college kids making some extra money. To top things off, one of them was extremely allergic to cats and I have two. His reaction was so strong that the poor guy was itching all over and red the whole day. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if one of your employees is deathly allergic to cats, wouldn't you make it a habit of asking clients whether they had any? At the beginning of the debacle, the man I spoke to on the phone graciously said that they would cut the price every hour they were late to come move me. They ended up only taking off 10% but by that time, I just wanted this miserable experience to be over. I can't account for why everyone else has such excellent reviews and my experience was so horrific, but the fact remains. Don't know who I'll be using in August when I move, but it won't be these guys. read more

So I choose this moving company from word of mouth being good. I got a quote through email and spoke to someone over the phone. It seemed like a small business when I called and they said "hi" by mistake instead of the business name. The service they provided was affordable and excellent! Very friendly guys and handled the furniture with care. Speedy too!! The only problem was they were a little late to the site. I can't blame them for that though bc it was in RI not Boston. the guys def made moving less stressful for us. I would use them again in a minute! read more

I will never use or recommend another moving company as long as I live. I tried to be a tough guy and maneuver a huge projection TV and an awkward sofa into my new place with a buddy, and the results were awful. After getting the couch wedged in the door, we struggled for about an hour and a half just to get it back out. We decided to not even try the TV. I called Brandon the next day (September 1st) and asked if there was anyone available to help me. Well, Brandon came over in person with Hakim, and they got the couch into the place in about 10 minutes with some awesome work. The TV was just too big though. Where most movers would call it quits and just leave, Brandon and Hakim refused to lose out there. After a lot of different tries, they ended up taking apart the TV piece by piece, and re-assembled it in my living room. Aside from getting the stuff in the apartment, the two movers were some of the nicer, cooler guys I've met. If you don't use Bee's to move, then you're just foolish and I feel bad for you. The price, service and timeliness makes them the BEST movers in all of Boston, or anywhere else for that matter. read more

Will and Keen from Bee's helped me with a move this morning from Somerville to Brighton...these guys are beasts! I have to admit that I was slightly concerned before the move; I had confirmed my reservation a bit late, and the follow-up with the HQ could have been a better (though I do understand that I was moving on one of the busiest days of the Boston moving year). Once the move started though I couldn't have asked for a more diligent, hard-working duo of movers. I was moving from the 2nd floor of a "triple deckah" onto the second floor of a large old house in Brighton. This was not an easy move....the crew had the fortune to go from a narrow stairwell in Somerville to a "manor house" in Brighton with two sets of uneven stone stairs outside as well as a long winding stairway inside. Will and Keen were literally sprinting down the stairs back to the truck after each box/piece of furniture was moved! I'm in decent shape and I did my best to lend a hand, but I couldn't come close to keeping up with these guys; I was dripping with sweat by the end of the day...and I was mostly moving the lighter items! All in all, A+ move Bee's...we came in well under the quote, and Will and Keen earned their tip. The crew also did a great job wrapping/cushioning my items. On another note, screw p90x and CrossFit...sign me up for the mover workout! Will and Keen said that they could probably do 4 moves the size of mine in a day, and had two more large moves (apparently mine was easy??) scheduled for the afternoon. Bees did fast work on a small dirty job that was complicated by heat and old flames without complaint. Looking forward to using them again.

On a random Thursday, we decided to move from Brighton to Waltham. While we were eating breakfast, we called Bee's and asked what the latest possible move-time they had available for same day was, and were pleasantly surprised to hear that they'd be willing to start a move after 5pm! We went to a new apartment complex, picked an apartment, signed a lease, and got back to Brighton to start packing our one bedroom apartment. Bee's arrived around 6:30pm, and were very fast and professional. We had about thirty bins of stuff to move, a sectional, a kitchen table, and two beds/mattresses, as well as other miscellaneous items. Everything was packed-up and they provided supplies we didn't have just in case (like mattress bags, furniture blankets, and tape). Once the truck was loaded, they drove right to our new apartment (arrived less than five minutes after I did), and unloaded everything by 9pm to our new, second floor apartment. We were completely impressed with their services from start to finish, and because of their speed, and willingness to work after-hours after a busy full-day earlier, we gave each mover a $45 tip. (Normally, we tip $20 per mover). I can't express how impressed we were with the two guys who did our move; I can summarize, though! They were professional, fast, and very accommodating - and friendly to boot! read more

Bees Movers saved my life! I just moved to Boston from Dallas, and the movers I had hired canceled on me last minute. We called Bees Movers, and they were able to come with a team of four on super short notice in peak moving season. They were so helpful, nice and fast!!! I had a super difficult apartment to move into (old brownstone, no elevator, small doorways). They ended up finding a way to hoist my couch, headboard and box springs up three stories from the patio. Without them, I would still be furniture-less. All my items are in perfect condition (no scratches) and in the correct place. Hopefully, I will not be moving again anytime shortly, but I would recommend Bee's Moving to anyone in Boston. AWESOME. I'm super impressed! read more

Great experience with these guys. Moved from Somerville to Quincy in about 4 hours. Nothing broken and they were professional from the start. Yeah, it looked like they were college kids making a few bucks, but that was kind of expected - who wants to lug heavy furniture up and down stairs on a hot day? Probably not someone with an MBA. ANYWAYS, they were only 30 mins late (due to traffic/construction), but they called me every 15mins to let me know their status. No big deal, we had the whole day to move. Once they arrived, they got to work, wrapped up our furniture and moved us out in like an hour, and they were super nice. Plus they were way cheaper than any of the other companies that quoted me $1000+ for a 2 bed apt. I'd definitely use them again for future moves. read more
