We selected/reserved our slabs only to come back a week later to have them sold to someone else.

When possible I like to support small independent local businesses and made the call for an estimate . Dan the owner spent a lot of time at our in home visit to review the scope , made great suggestions on 2 new pots and pan drawers and assured us we would not know they were refaced but would look like new cabinets . We chose a beautiful Maple wood with new drawers on amazing soft close silent hardware . The work crew was professional , skilled craftsmen that figured out every little corner and angle to perfection . I am amazed at the quality of work . The transformation is stunning . My adult daughter just saw the new kitchen today for the first time and was so impressed she thought it was all new boxes from the ground up ! We recommend better than new Kitchens 100 % for refacing .They are an honest local company that delivers on their project promise.

Then Dan came to our house and spent a significant amount of time with us explaining our options, showing us samples of cabinets, and answering all of our questions. We opted for several additional options on top of our initial estimate, but we never felt pressured to add or upgrade anything. We initially had hoped to do refacing to improve the overall aesthetic of our kitchen, but we were so excited to discover some of the additional options that were offered that solved functional problems that had always bothered us! When we reached out to Better Than New, we didn't even realize how much they could do besides just refacing. We replaced all of our old, hard-to-open drawers with beautiful, easy to open, soft-close drawers. We added a pull-out drawer for trash and recycling bins. We replaced sagging shelves in our cabinets. And we replaced the shelves in our deep pantry with drawers, making the space SO much more usable and accessible for our tall family. So not only is the kitchen beautiful, but it's so much more functional. There were zero hidden fees. The work was absolutely immaculate. The team was incredibly professional. And the work was done as scheduled and on time - the entire project only took 2.5 days!! I didn't receive estimates from other companies, so I don't know how the price would have compared. But we feel that the finished product, the quality of the materials used, and the professionalism and skill of the team were worth what we paid. We really couldn't be any happier with Better Than New Kitchens, and we LOVE our new kitchen. I'd highly recommend working with this company!

Previously, we used Superior Stone and Cabinet to replace the countertops in our kitchen and laundry room. This experience was extremely positive, and we were genuinely impressed by the quality of the countertops and the level of service provided. We started calling around. Other quotes were higher in price and did not align with the value offered. We considered seeking assistance from my handyman brother-in-law before looking into Superior Stone and Cabinet, recalling our previous visit to their showroom, where we viewed bathroom and kitchen remodels. We called, and oh my we are SO happy we did! From the price and quality of the new countertops to the tiling of the master shower to the communication and professionalism with Kelly to the team that came out and did our work was OUTSTANDING. Every single step and team member with Superior was exceptional. Their skill and dedication resulted in a finished product that surpassed our expectations. Another Yelp review mentioned that several companies appeared uninterested in accepting their project due to its small scale, which was our experience. These other companies seemed to want to outrageously charge for minimal work. Thank goodness we remembered seeing bathroom and kitchen remodels when we visited their showroom! I'm thrilled with our bathroom remodel from Superior Stone and Cabinet. If you need new counters or a refresher, I highly recommend calling them--you might end up like me, preferring your own bathroom over a luxury hotel!

Enclosed Back Patio Quick background - We have had a…read morescreened-in patio since moving into our house in 1983. In 2001, we replaced much of the wood and installed a 28" slab wall. My wife fabricated the screens. The last improvement was made in 2011, when we had heavy screens fabricated with eyelets and attached them with cap screws. After all these years, we decided to make this a functional room year-round instead of Mar - May/Oct - Dec. As we know, it is always easier to build new than to reconstruct. It's a 200 sq. ft. space with good wood, foundation, etc. We went out for three quotes, including Desert King Windows, which we had replaced all our windows with back in 2010. They came in as the best price, but what was most appealing was how straightforward it all was. It was not a simple project. We required to not have any wood showing other than the very top. It was explained how they would foil wrap the beams and ledge. We were given options for the windows and doors with no price haggling. Since they were our last quote, we were satisfied to advise on the spot that we wanted them to do the project. Days later, Johnny came over for exact measurements, to engineer the project in terms of how many windows, which beams would be removed/moved, exactly how the foil would be placed and installed, and the like. A few days after that, the owner, Jayson, came by with Johnny and the sales rep, Don, to give a final look over and to make sure we were "all on the same page" before the order was submitted for fabrication. The project was scheduled for 6-8 weeks, which occurred. It was expected to take three days, but the crew led by Jose finished it up in two long days. My wife, who has had a complete bathroom remodel redone, was extremely happy (this was her ideal and project), which is telling. I have attached before (after the screens were removed) and after pics, which show the transformation. Oh - and to be able to use this year-round - we added a mini split, and thus far, with the type of windows and doors, it hardly needs to run to keep it cool. Yes, we still have the real summer to evaluate it out.
