I needed red to fill the spaces so the weeds don't come out from between the cracks. HD referred me to Marvel, because their computer says red is "out of stock" which usually means discontinued. The Marvel employee I called several days ago, called the manufacturer to ask about the red, and he called me back to say it was discontinued due to source of that colored sand was no longer available. Darn! When I went to pick up the grey polymer sand, there were two guys at the counter, both were on the phone for a long time. i think I waited 10 min. There were other people standing there. but after one got off the phone, I was next, and he took care of my order right away. I went to the yard and someone on a forklift saw me and came to attend my pick up immediately. If it were not for the 10 min wait, I would give them 5 stars. No wait would be ideal, but I cannot expect the company to spend more $ for another employee, if sometimes third employee has to fritter time away, cos the counter was not THAT busy at the time I came in. HD/Lowes polymer sand was $20 for 40 lb bucket. Marvel's was $27 for a 50 lb bag

I went to Ferguson to find a solution and they had it! The staff was very helpful listen to my problem and went through available options, they sold me a $6 gasket that I was able to cut to size to fit perfectly. We were on the verge of calling a plumber but with the help of the staff and only $6 I was able to fix the problem permanently. Highly recommend them

The only thing they have done is create a bigger mess and deliver an ongoing, continuous, frustrating cluster of a service nightmare.

I said I would never good into such a backward place again. It was a throwback to the gold old boy attitudes of the 50's. Day before yesterday I needed a piece of wood that was 14" by 22". I was prepared to make another trip to Home Depot. For some reason I thought of Heldt which is just a few minutes from my home. I decided it might be time to try and be open-minded and go there. It was a better experience. The men in the back worked with me to find a quality of material that would meet my needs then cut it to my specifications. It was a positive experience all the way around. One thing to remember is this is a lumber yard, not a Home Depot. I did have to do some asking to find where I needed to go and to get help in the back. I could accept that. It went pretty quickly and the price was reasonable.

I found that Home Depot only has the cheaper ones. Sam helped me today and he was so great and very patient with me, as I had a lot of questions. He showed me all of the accessories that I could get with it and ordered me a special decorative lens to go with it. I was able to take the tube light home today and he said the lens will be here next week. He then was able to recommend someone to do the labor for it. The store is clean, big, they have a huge selection and a helpful sales staff. If I move or need to remodel again, I'll definitely be back here for my skylights, windows and doors!
