Went…read moreback and showed it to them looking for resolution, but not angry, but walked out angry because of the attitude. The guy kept repeating how he couldn't trust what I was saying like it was a he said/she said between me and the actual company doing the cleaning. 1) Your business is the front facing establishment I am doing business with - this is your responsibility. 2) he sent it back for free, which I was fine with - why the attitude? He made me mad, but it was unnecessary given we had a next step. When I went back to get it, it was almost all out, and he said he would send it back again, but again, it was the attitude. "This is the last time I will send it back for free" like it was my fault it happened - and at that point I'd already made up my mind I wasn't coming back regardless because of how he treats his customers. My husband went to pick up the shirt (it was his) and it was actually all out, but they started telling him how the stain wasn't pointed out the first time and he said that's because it wasn't there when it was brought here. They argued with him saying it was red sauce (no, it wasn't) and then another guy from the back came out swearing at him telling him he was a scam artist. We had arrived at a pretty easy solution, but they upped the tension each time to really piss us off with their attitude. Just be more customer focused!!

For example, I dropped off a pillow that the zipper needed fixing and the guy said no problem, they'll fix it. And they did! When I came with another pillow (the same design, just its twin with the same problem), the lady said it was impossible to fix. When I said that she already fixed the twin pillow, that's when she finally accepted it. Now when I'm asking to her do some alterations on three shirts, she said she "wasn't professional enough" to accept them. She gives explanations like "too hard" or "too much work" and I'm left feeling like she just doesn't want my business. It's unfortunate since she is my neighborhood cleaners and tailor.

All Pro absolutely destroyed my husbands expensive designer shirt, then had the audacity to blame…read morehim and called the shirt cheap and low quality. First of all the shirt is couture, and was not remotely cheap, and has only been worn a hand full of times. Secondly I don't care if the shirt was from Walmart, if we take it to get dry cleaned without a hole and then get it back and the arm of the shirt is ripped with a huge hole that's beyond repair I'd expect an apology or an offer to fix it AT THE VERY LEAST. This was not done. In fact they blamed my husband. We have been in this neighborhood for a long time and will make sure to tell all of our neighbors to never go here. The owner is rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. Do not spend your money here.

Since I ordered them online, I had no idea just how oversized they were until I tried them on in-person. Honestly, they reminded me of maternity pants, which isn't really my style! I went on Yelp looking for an experienced tailor, and used their quote request process to contact someone, Nura contacted me right away with an estimate of how much it was going to cost. She tailored the shorts exactly to my specifications, took in a couple of inches, and now they fit perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Of all the tailors I've ever been to in my lifetime, Nura is definitely the BEST. Her attention to detail is what truly sets her apart!

I've only used Star Glo once, so take me with an appropriate grain of salt…read more I brought 8 items for their periodic dry cleaning. It was right before the holidays, so I asked them what day would be good since I wasn't in a hurry. They told me Monday afternoon. Cool, no problem! When I went for pick-up on Monday, I was told all but one of my items were ready. I was told to come back for it tomorrow. So, tomorrow comes and I'm told the final item hasn't been cleaned at all. They wanted my green light to dry clean it (which is prominently displayed on the item's oversized care tag) because they were worried about an aspect of the item cracking or peeling. Look, I've had this item for a decade. It's been dry cleaned multiple times, in two different countries even! There isn't a single indication of cracking or peeling on the part of concern. I was totally baffled that they never bothered contacting me, didn't notify me on Monday and weren't sure if they should dry clean the item I brought to a dry cleaners that clearly says it is a dry clean item on its care tag. If I had been contacted about this before, at least by the Monday I had come to pick it up, I might consider this a sign of Star Glo's attention to detail and would have reflected positively on them. As it stands, waiting until my second visit to pick up my clothing to open the topic felt like my time wasn't being respected. The other pieces of clothing were cleaned just fine, but I'm thinking this won't be a repeat place for me.
