This shop claims to have the most advanced garment knowledge and to care deeply for its customers' property, but none of the customer service I have received represents this! I brought a dress from Bottega Veneta on April 30th with a small blood stain that I could feasibly remove myself, but this dress was a special part of my wardrobe, and I expected CD Cleaners to handle the order just fine. I was SORELY mistaken about their ability, as not only did they leave my dress unclean when I received it, but they also PUNCTURED a hole in the shoulder AND pulled out the metal front closures. The dress is unwearable, and they refuse to return it to me now! I immediately returned to the shop to ask for help and the woman working felt the need to tug and rip the hole of the dress deeper to 'show me' that they would not be able to repair it. I am utterly baffled why she kept pulling yarns of the hole, and her tone felt facetious instead of helpful. I asked them, practically begging to know if they had found the metal closure pieces so they could attempt re-screwing them into the dress. After telling me that the pieces aren't available at Amazon, I had to explain that the dress retailed $3000 and that the closures were definitely unique. They continued to tell me there was nothing they could do and after I explained that the resell price ranges around the 55% range of the original MSRP, they have told me to 'wait for them to contact' with a solution after they speak with their manager. It has been over THREE WEEKS and I have not received a call, nor will they give me their manager's information. The staff continues to avoid telling me when the manager will be in, and comment extremely rudely about me in Spanish ("l**a m**rda con el vestido verde'). The loss of my favorite dress will go to small claims court here in Chicago, but I implore you to simply look elsewhere as none of the professionalism required for a dry-cleaner with such 'heritage' as CD Cleaners exists to ensure your clothing stays safe or ACTUALLY CLEAN!

The guy kept repeating how he couldn't trust what I was saying like it was a he said/she said between me and the actual company doing the cleaning. 1) Your business is the front facing establishment I am doing business with - this is your responsibility. 2) he sent it back for free, which I was fine with - why the attitude? He made me mad, but it was unnecessary given we had a next step. When I went back to get it, it was almost all out, and he said he would send it back again, but again, it was the attitude. "This is the last time I will send it back for free" like it was my fault it happened - and at that point I'd already made up my mind I wasn't coming back regardless because of how he treats his customers. My husband went to pick up the shirt (it was his) and it was actually all out, but they started telling him how the stain wasn't pointed out the first time and he said that's because it wasn't there when it was brought here. They argued with him saying it was red sauce (no, it wasn't) and then another guy from the back came out swearing at him telling him he was a scam artist. We had arrived at a pretty easy solution, but they upped the tension each time to really piss us off with their attitude. Just be more customer focused!!

First of all the shirt is couture, and was not remotely cheap, and has only been worn a hand full of times. Secondly I don't care if the shirt was from Walmart, if we take it to get dry cleaned without a hole and then get it back and the arm of the shirt is ripped with a huge hole that's beyond repair I'd expect an apology or an offer to fix it AT THE VERY LEAST. This was not done. In fact they blamed my husband. We have been in this neighborhood for a long time and will make sure to tell all of our neighbors to never go here. The owner is rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. Do not spend your money here.

There is ample parking out front, plenty of space inside to wait around or fold clothes, and a couple vending machines to satisfy your appetite. My favorite part is that all the machines are high quality and take credit card. It's so nice to not have to hoard cash for trips here, just swipe and go! There are also plenty of machines, so I've never had a problem with availability. Both the left and right walls are completely filled with dryers, so there are always plenty of empties to choose from. While there isn't a ton of stuff to do in the immediate area, I have been able to pop over to a neighboring Vietnamese restaurant for dinner while waiting. There's also a gas station across the street. Overall, I like coming here and feel like my clothes get well-cleaned every time!

Today he picked up the pants and they did not listen to his request and went ahead and did whatever they wanted and made both pairs of pants into 31s. My boyfriend paid $100 for them to do whatever they wanted with his pants. Do not bring your alterations here unless you don't mind not getting what you ask for.

Needed a couple suits cleaned and a button sewed back in place. I love it here. Not only do they do a great job and never damage any of my clothes, but they have incredible integrity. I left $10 and chapstick in My suit jacket. I would have never known it was there but when I came for pickup they returned the money and chapstick. The principle of that is astounding to me and amazing to see. They have won my business forever. A small locally owned place where the ladies are always smiling and ready to help. 10/5 stars if it was possible. Definitely give them a try.
