I had been taking my clothes here for alterations for a year. Recently my boyfriend took in two pairs of pants to be made into a 32x32. They told my boyfriend he is a 31 and a 32 would be too big for him and he told them he likes his pants big. Today he picked up the pants and they did not listen to his request and went ahead and did whatever they wanted and made both pairs of pants into 31s. My boyfriend paid $100 for them to do whatever they wanted with his pants. Do not bring your alterations here unless you don't mind not getting what you ask for. read more

It's hard to find a good dry cleaners. Really tough but I found this location and saw previous reviews and figured why not. My last place burned down on Montrose. Needed a couple suits cleaned and a button sewed back in place. I love it here. Not only do they do a great job and never damage any of my clothes, but they have incredible integrity. I left $10 and chapstick in My suit jacket. I would have never known it was there but when I came for pickup they returned the money and chapstick. The principle of that is astounding to me and amazing to see. They have won my business forever. A small locally owned place where the ladies are always smiling and ready to help. 10/5 stars if it was possible. Definitely give them a try. read more

Never again. I've tried to support local, but not here anymore. You'd think dry cleaning 101 would be they could pick out and sew on a button when needed. When I pointed out they put on the wrong colored button, zero apology. Instead the owner woman pushes a bucket of buttons to me on the counter and says "ok you pick". I pick? Want me to sew it on too? Also, I chose my job to be expedited, I understood I would pay more, fine. I get a call, "it's going to be late, come the next day". And maybe then they would adjust the bill? Nope. Never again. read more

The owner was very friendly, I loved the service. The cons were - she refused to clean my shoes (however I'm not sure if other dry cleaners would take 'em). - they only accept cash payments which created a minor inconvenience for me The interior is good when it comes to dry cleaning places. I parked in the lot nearby but not sure if that was the designated parking. I'm changing my rate for this place from 3 stars (more justified) to 5 stars just because I really appreciate the owner's efforts and really wish the place would keep getting high rates. read more

I love supporting mom and pop type shops in my neighborhood -- it's even better when there's quick service and fair prices!! I think I got about 6 shirts dry cleaned, a tear sewn in a silk garment, and a button replaced on another silk shirt for $36. Me and my partner came in to get some dry cleaning. It was late but Susan did a shirt and a press for us anyway. She was so sweet and kind and her work does not disappoint. I just picked up the rest of my hubbies dry cleaning and wow! Such great work and SO AFFORDABLE. I never get my coats dry cleaned so the first time I go here because it's near my house. I dropped off 3 coats Friday and the lady tells me on Tuesday they will be ready I come Tuesday they are still not ready until tomorrow. But that's not why I give them one star, my coats were left with a strong soapy smell and my favorite long puffy coat shrunk so much. I could've done a better job washing them myself so I do not recommend this place. read more

I have used their alterations in the past and current, excellent work. Dry cleaning, always ready when promised. I have at times needed something right away, and she was able to meet my requirements. These people are great! I only occasionally have cleaning done here but more often I have alterations. The lovely woman just changed the collar on a winter coat of mine and the belt loops. It was a huge collar on a Cole Haan coat and she redesigned and it looks fabulous! They've made pillow cases for me, hemmed slacks - great work. (And really in Jeff Park, not Sauganash.....) My husband and I have been bringing our dry cleaning here for the past four years, and every time we visit, our clothes are impeccably cleaned and pressed. I've also brought tailoring items in (sometimes very last minute), and the tailoring work they do is immaculate. The thing that really sets Cleaners Plus apart for me is the customer service, which is hands-down some of the best customer service I've received at any business. Maria, the "face" of Cleaners Plus, is incredibly kind and personable. She makes it a point to remember names and unique things about each customer, and always has a genuine smile on her face. On a few occasions, we've been pleasantly surprised to find a missing button or torn hem repaired, free of charge and unannounced, on a dry cleaning item. Maria, the owner is wonderful! Excellent customer service and extremely quality conscious. I spilled tea on a new white blouse and Maria sent it back to be cleaned a second time because she wasn't pleased with the result. I brought my three leather jackets to be cleaned and they came back looking brand new. Maria does superb alterations. After I lost a significant amount of weight, she meticulously took in the waist of numerous jeans, slacks, skirts and dresses and the bust of numerous tops and dresses. They also do shoe repairs. This dry cleaners is great, they always get my dry cleaning done on time ( about three days later, I'm never in a rush) and everything comes out clean!
