Excellent customer service. The lady that works here is very nice and does a great job. Alterations aren't too pricey.

Kim is the best seamstress, her craftsmanship is absolutely top notch. She's conveniently located with east street parking.

Great place to get your dry cleaning done! I had two sport coats tailored here. They did such a great job, they have all of my business now.

I've been bringing my clothes here for repairs and alterations for nearly 5 years. Maribel is able…read moreto take just about anything and make it fit me perfectly. I've brought her off-the-rack men's suits and shirts and she's altered them in the arm, chest, waist, hips, thigh, everywhere to make them look like they were made custom for my feminine body. She altered my wife's wedding dress with precision and speed. It's been a joy to get to know her over the years...and to know I can indeed have clothes that fit me perfectly because of her!

I wanted to love Isel's Cleaners, I really did. Maybe the employee here is right; maybe I'm just…read moreunlucky. According to her, I am the only one with these issues. If it were a one-off, I would be more understanding, but it seems as though more times than not when I'm here, something goes wrong. Also, as an aside, perhaps it's not the best idea to tell a customer who is upset that things are constantly going wrong that he's unlucky. Let me give you a core example of what I mean. In summertime, I brought in a down jacket to be cleaned and repaired after I fell off an e-scooter. Oops. The quoted time for the jacket to be cleaned and repaired was a week. I gave them two, and the jacket wasn't done. Once again, I was quoted a time of a week. I came back in two, and the jacket still wasn't done. The response given was that, and I quote, "You don't need it." Well, you know something? Maybe I don't, but you don't know that for a fact. Maybe I'm going to Greenland or something. Don't promise something if you can't deliver it, and especially don't do so twice. There was another incident where I was almost given a shirt that wasn't mine. Thankfully, I am the kind of weirdo who more or less knows the labels on the insides of his shirts. I recognized it wasn't mine. This did recur a couple months later when the shirt I was given was definitely not mine - I could tell by its pattern and design, which again surprised her. Yes, mistakes happen, but it's weird that this happened twice. I can only imagine if I had taken someone else's shirt home by mistake, and then that person would have come back saying, "Where the heck is my shirt? Why did you give it to somebody else?" There was also an incident involving another item I gave them to be cleaned, where the company to which they outsource out did a poor job, and there was still a stain. So, the item was sent back. When I arrived, I found the shirt wasn't done, and I wasn't notified beforehand. Okay, fine. So, I came back later at the agreed-upon time, and the shirt still wasn't ready because the company to which they outsource their cleaning still hadn't done a good job. I received no notification of any kind. At this point, I said, "Enough is enough." I took my items back, I took my money back, and I took my items somewhere else. Let me close on saying this: The employee here is very kind and very sweet, and the prices here are almost unbeatable. I urge you to give them a chance assuming: 1. You are in no hurry. 2. You carefully check to make sure that the clothes you get are your own. 3. Don't give them any expensive or valuable items in case they're accidentally given to someone else.

George and family have the nicest customer service ever, period. They are the definition of…read morewonderful customer service. I value customer service and pricing so much and they definitely delivered. They did a flawless job sewing and altering three different garments for me. First was reattaching my main button on my suit jacket. This is the only suit (purchased in 2006!) that has ever fit me perfectly and I still get compliments on it all the time, so I wanted even just the button reattachment to look flawless and it does! AND it took not longer than three minutes on the spot! The "biggest" job was shortening sequin straps on my sequin birthday/NYE dress. It's a gorgeous dress, so I still wanted it to be gorgeous afterwards and it is! Beautiful, and now it actually fits. Both George and his wife and another super-nice employee were all there during the fitting and consulting on what would be the best route to go to shorten the straps and I already felt it was in good hands. They thought "outside the box" and came up with the correct solution (which was to alter from the top of the straps where it would sit on my shoulders instead of either end where the straps attach to the dress). Thank you George and co!!! I hope to be back soon! Oh a little tip for everyone!: I went to this address listed on Yelp/Google GPS first and got their new address from off the signs at the old location. I didn't mind at all, as their new location is close to the old one anyway, and I found parking on the side-street right by their new location right away. New location address is 6323 N. Clark St, 60660.
