Some are new. Others older. Good washers. Good dryers if you put it for 30 plus minutes. No coins. Pay with card you purchase at machine next to attendant area. Barely anywhere to sit while you wait. Only seating is at front area and two more seats around corner from attendant area. Same for tables to fold clothes. Machines are fairly priced. Lower than another laundromat I favor but is too far. Unfortunately, they don't accept credit cards. So you either need to be prepared with cash or a check. I did think the total was a little high. I had 2 men's shirts, 3 pants, 2 blouses, 6 cardigans and the total was $45.35. I'll have to ask on my next visit what each garment costs for dry cleaning. I feel bad saying this, but this place is a big nope. I gave them two shots, once for alterations…read moreand once for dry cleaning and both times the results failed. I needed a few items altered and did not need them for any specific date. I brought them in and tried everything on that I needed altered, including jeans that needed to be hemmed and a summer sleeveless dress. When the seamstress asked when I needed them back, I told her she could pick the date because there was no rush. She gave me the date to return for my items. Cool. When I returned on the date to pick up my clothes, they were not ready. Not cool. She picked the date, so I am not sure why they weren't ready. She tells me to come back the next day. Kind of a pain to make another trip, but fine. So, I pick up my clothes. Some things were altered fine. However, she took up the hem on my jeans and did not use the original hem, so it basically looks like my mom hemmed my pants. The summer dress was too large on the sides and needed to be taken in. She took it in, but then failed to leave the arm hole big enough for me to actually be able to move my arm, so the dress just cuts into my arm pits. Tailoring fail. I thought we could still use this place for dry cleaning. My husband and I dropped off a huge amount of his dress shirts to be cleaned and pressed all at once while he was on vacation. When we dropped them off, the woman behind the counter told us they would be ready nine days later. Nine days was yesterday. Thinking back on my experience picking up my alterations, I called yesterday morning to make sure his clothes were ready. She tells me to come by after 2:00. Cool, so now I can rearrange my day off based on needing to pick up his dry cleaning in the middle of the day. I show up to pick up his clothes and present the ticket and the woman behind the counter just starts wandering all over looking for the clothes. She is looking at a rack with winter coats on it. I can see a rack with some of his shirts on it, so I tell her those are his shirts, but she doesn't go to them. Nothing has tags on it, all the shirts are just in bags on racks all together. Then the woman we first dealt with emerges and locates his clothes. There's this kind of weird vibe. I just need to go. When I get home and get everything in and put away, I see that his shirts do not look laundered and fully pressed. Several of them still have creases in them on the back from when he wore them and had them tucked into his pants. Maybe they did a terrible job cleaning and pressing them or they did not clean them, left them sitting until I called yesterday morning, then knew I was coming and then did a half-assed job ironing them? I really don't know. They threw them on hangars and did not even both to button them all up. It is hard to photograph wrinkles on prints with my crappy old phone, but I tried to capture some of what they looked like. I could have taken pictures of all of them, but this is how we got every shirt back. I could have done a better job ironing. We wanted his shirts to look professional. They look anything but. I threw one of my shirts in with my husband's to be cleaned. It never occurred to me to check it immediately. I I just looked at it and I now figured out why there was a weird vibe when I walked in the shop. They ruined my shirt. There is some weird blue stuff all over it. How unprofessional are you that you ruin a customer's shirt, DO NOT SAY ANYTHING TO THEM, AND LET THE PAY FOR CLEANING AND PRESSING IT. These people are the worst. Do not go here. EDIT: I took my shirt back in and figured out what happened. I asked her what was on my shirt, if it was dye or some sort of dry cleaning liquid. She said that she always washed shirts like mine with darks so it was not dry cleaning liquid. My shirt was supposed to be dry cleaned. So, she washed it with other people's clothes and apparently with someone's dark, new item that bled onto my shirt and ruined it. Isn't this why to take clothes in to be cleaned? To avoid this from happening? When I told her my shirt was supposed to be dry cleaned, she then said she meant it was dry cleaned. There is nothing worse than when a business is dishonest. I do not believe they dry cleaned any of the clothes I brought in because the labels say they can be washed. We dry clean them to try to make them last longer. I guess they are trying to save time and money by washing everyone's clothes together. Unreal. Save your clothes, people. Don't go here. Yikes. Expensive lesson learned.
