I have tried to call you all multiple times to address a driver. I was driving north on lawndale ave to Belmont Ave and your driver with the plate number Q52 8144 at 3:10pm was revving his engine behind me as we drove down the residential street. I was going about 25 mph Since were coming up on a school zone. This man, was honking his horn behind me, when we got to a speed up, he recklessly drove over the speed hump to pass me up. As he passes me up, he hits his break As to intimidate me. I was driving in the vehicle with 2 children who got scared because of his aggression on the road. I've been in this neighborhood for nearly 10 years. And I used to come here. Previous owner was so nice. Now these new owners are rude. No one speaks English so good luck trying to get them to understand you or pick up the phone to answer a question. On top of that they are extremely overpriced. Go elsewhere. read more

Seems that the business employs terrible drivers and jerks based on other reviews and mine. I'll add mine. On 2/8/24 nearly missed a crash off of Clybourn near Cortland as the Dutch Cleaner driver ran a stop sign as I was half thru the intersection and then flipped me off as I blew my horn. Followed him to Cortland where he pointed right with a right turn signal and then suddenly turned left in front of me, again a near miss. Have been going here for years. But recently they changed owners. I went in there to take some blankets getting ready for the winter, and was told they couldn't do them because they had dog hair on them & it would ruin their machines. WHAT?????? As I was driving down Avondale yesterday, after picking up my daughter from school, the driver of this van was behind me at the light at Avondale and Pulaski, as I was driving the driver of the van erratically tried to pass me on the right just as I was getting ready to turn right onto my street. We almost crashed, but luckily I saw him doing this. He then drove past to my left then cut me off and brake checked me before my turn. He then sped off going very fast down the road where many children and neighbors walk their dogs. This driver was out of control and very aggressive. I'll never use this service given they hire drivers that are this reckless! i was with my 12 year old daughter and shouldn't have to deal with drivers that exhibit road rage with children in the car. I see others have similar complaints. This driver should be fired! read more

Update: So, I decided to give this place another chance and... yup, it only got worse. Some guy sees me standing by the front counter, knocking on it to get his attention and NOTHING. I shout: Excuse me! He looks at me and continues with his business. I finally screamed at him and then he decides to call on another person who needs you to write your name on a piece of paper so she knows how to find your clothes. No apologies, no nothing. Don't go here. I never really had a problem with this place except for the fact they say they close at 6 PM every day. Why would you post your hours if whenever you feel like you just go home? People that have their clothes washed or dry cleaned normally work all day long and can't make it to your place until close to 6! Yeah, the time you say you close! I was there to pick up my shirt at 5:50 and there was no one there. Front door locked and no one was answering the phone. The line doesn't even have an answering machine to leave a voicemail. I have been going here for over a year. Most of the time it was fine. I took a leather bag to get a strap fixed. When I came back 3 weeks later they could not find it. Lady said she would call me but never did. I went in again and they said they accidentally sent it to be cleaned as well. The original ticket was for fixing only $15. But they insisted I pay for the cleaning even tough that is not what the original ticket was for. Don't know why they expect a customer to pay for their mistake. I know they work hard so I just paid to get out of there. Won't go back. Good thing they found it because I don't know how they would have handled that. I have used this place once, but for a pretty big and varied dry cleaning order. They were very nice on intake, and seemed to do a nice job on the materials. I only gave them four stars because their prices seemed a little higher to me than I was used to. I used to live in Lakeview, and there was extreme competition between dry cleaners, so that could be part of it. We will probably continue to use Dutch, since they are nice, they do good work, and their prices are not so high that it makes sense to go out of your way to avoid them. read more

I was told my coat would be ready by Tues 10/31. I went in and it wasn't ready (after 5 days). I go today, 11/1 and that's when they decide to tell me it's cash only. No signage, nothing. So she has to call in my cc over the phone. Then the lady proceeds to tell me it's 30 freakin dollars for the dry clean of a 3/4 peacoat and an alteration to add a belt loop. They always remember me every time I come in. I have gotten many pairs of pants hemmed here and the woman who handles the hemming knows what she is doing.
