    Lasagne
    Carrie H.

Service was very good ! It was lunchtime and not crowded. I can see it getting very noisy during dinner We ordered 4 different meals and shared everything between us. The lasagne I wasn't crazy over. I didn't like the lasagne sitting in vodka sauce The special with 3 pastas was ok. It's spaghetti, ravioli in pesto and orechetti with sausage and Broccoli rabe My chicken parm was perfection! And the salmon was tasty. Good food, decent portions

Becco is a staple for me every time I am in New York. I have not tried something I don't like. The service is top notch, the food you might wonder if you have died and gone to heaven. I highly recommend a reservation especially if you are going to a show afterwards. It's a pretty big place but everytime I have been there's a lot of people. I recommend anyone I know who is traveling to NYC to go to Becco. For the level of dining you will have there prices are more than fair. Coming from Miami most dinners at a good restaurant will cost you the same, but the flavors are so much better! I would love to see that lasagna on their regular menu because it was the best I've ever had.

Ok Becco was the best!! I cannot stop sharing this place with friends and family. The wine was amazing and the limitless pasta special is daily and so filling. Everything was amazing and we weren't even hungry or thirsty during our Broadway show after. The servers were so professional and I would visit again. Cheers!!

Came on new years eve with some friends to have a warm and cozy dinner - this place accommodates large parties which this place is great for btw they do a solid all you can eat pasta deal where they start you with a ceasar salad then give u 3 pastas unlimited. ours was a spaghetti red sauce, mushroom ravoli, and a meat orecchiete (my favorite). also forgot to mention they start you with olives and complimentary bread so a very carb heavy dinner portions are huge i probably had 1.5 plates of pasta but they just come around and are ready to serve you its super quick and an about $35 meal. the pasta is super solid but nothing life changing/something you can def make at home but i def recommend and would return!!

Here it is folks, review number 1800. Twelve years, and close to a winter solstice with only eleven days to spare in 2025, and I have hit the mark by going to one of New York's premiere Italian restaurants, which came close to not happening. When you serve an unlimited three pasta medley at $36, smack dab in the middle of Midtown's Theater District, during the Christmas season, you are bound to draw a crowd. Heck, after I was sent to the bar (I will take it here), throngs of customers were making their way here. Most of them either just got out of a Broadway show, or just about to see one. About the food... The pasta is delicious, my delicate trio being a pumpkin squash ravioli, a tagliatelle diavolo, and a spaghetti with clams. With various flavors on the dish, it is best to let each of them settle a little so it can create a special texture and taste. I am not a fan of sweet ravioli, but mixing it up with the other two pastas offset the heartiness of the squash and pumpkin. Had I not went to the Carnegie Diner earlier, I most certainly would have had a second helping, but I had to pass. The other two pastas have nice, easy sauces (the Diavola sauce has plenty of kick but not overpowering), but what really helped set the pasta up nicely was the fresh antipasti that comes with it before the pasta is rolled out. A cool octopus, some light beans and carrots, it is an easy way to let your stomach digest the pasta without all the stomach issues. This is how you prepare your body before a massive meal. Introduce it slowly with light items before bringing on the heavy hitters. Did I mention you get some crusty bread before it all begins? You do! Except be careful because some of the purée it comes with has onions in it. In fact, so did the antipasti, but they did it so well that I had minimal stomach issues well after I had this meal. While I would love to come back here for another pasta dish, and get some seconds for good measure, I will wait to let my stomach resettle before launching into some more. That way I can fully immerse myself into the pasta rather than spend hours on the toilet. It may not be the review I was thinking to write, but it is the one I surely needed. I can only wonder what the next 100 reviews are in store for me... and you.

Ok yes and yes and yes. The waiter was amazing. The food was astronomically delicious. They were so welcoming and wonderful I want to go back again even though we are only here for 2 days. Such a great place and location. Lovely atmosphere and nice bathrooms, too!

I'm back in New York, so I had to eat at Becco. It's one of my favorite restaurants on the planet, and is so consistently delicious. I had the pasta trio again, which was delicious, and the service was outstanding. This time I sat at the bar, because I was alone, and it's just a great place to hang out. I highly recommend this place if you're in town.

I was here for dinner on a Thursday night with a couple of my coworkers and it's a great spot with homey, cozy vibes! The menu is simple but the food is delicious! You HAVE to go for the triple pasta or the lasagna and a bottle of wine! We were planning to go to a Broadway show afterwards so our waiter got our food out quickly and had us ready to go with enough time for us to catch our show. It's a bigger space than it looks from outside and there's extra seating on the second floor but I'd still recommend making reservations because it's a popular spot so can be pretty packed usually. Definitely a spot I look forward to be back to!

So this restaurant is right by the theater district and they ask if you have a show to make sure they get you out in time I'm assuming which is nice. I couldn't get a reservation at one of the large commercial Italian more well known spots so we tried a smaller place, this place had plenty of spots open. The Italian bread they bring out is really good, Our waiter was nice refilled our water and brought out our strong and delicious espresso martinis quite fast! I got the chicken parm which was fine but the sauce is a bit watery, the meatball app I wasn't blown away by, my wife said she liked it and would return with so many places I would try another spot but worth a try,

Becco came onto my radar as a convenient spot for a Sunday lunch before our Broadway show. I wanted a non- touristy spot with quality food. Being owned by the Bastianich group helped seal the choice. We enjoyed a leisurely paced meal with friendly service. Appetizers Caesar salad Entrees Salmon w fava bean puree Zuppa do pesce over polenta Bisteca di Manzo Dessert Cannoli We were very pleased with our meal. Loved the convenience to the theatre as well. A good choice in mid-town.

Got the Parmigiana di Pollo and enjoyed it. It was massive!

The food was good and so was the waiter. We had a table of eight and had no issues. It's a was a big & solid meal. I'd recommend.

Are there vegan options for tableside unlimited pasta service?

The options change daily so you would have to call

We have a 6:30 reservation - will that be enough time to make an 8:00 show 6 blocks away?

Show up for your 6:30 early--by 6:15. Tell wait staff you have theatre tickets. They will accommodate. I recommend the symphonia prix fix. Salad and 3 pastas. Enjoy additional servings if you desire. Bon appetite! Enjoy the show!

    Is there a kids menu?

I'm certain Becco would accommodate a child. The day we were there, a family was celebrating a child's birthday

Are there seats for walk ins for a party of 2? Even bar seating?

I'm not sure that they always have walk-in tables, but there's definitely a bar, that accepts walk ins and serves the full menu.

Is the pasta special same for lunch and dinner?

Yes! It changes daily but will be the same all day.

Is the Sinfonia Di Paste still unlimited if we add it with our entree for $9? Also, $25 for a whole bottle of wine?

Yes it changes and yes if you add it or order it by itself it is unlimited. Decent place. Try to sit downstairs.

Can I make an online reservation?

    yes.

I only had a late lunch because I wasn't super hungry, but what I had was pretty tasty. Honestly, I was inspired to write this review for the salad lol. The INSALATA VERDE, was freaking incredible. UGH. So fresh and the flavors were perfect. I also got a pasta, CAVATELLI ALLO SCOGLIO, but sadly wasn't that into it. All of the flavors were good, I just think it didn't come together in a way that my taste buds enjoyed lol. But I can't say it was nasty, just not my vibe. Overall was a great visit, and a great location for a cute lunch in the city, especially if you're near the highline! Oh! And I can't forget the cute little welcome wine that they have in the elevator. It's only on the second floor, but it was a nice experience.

The salad had a unique, slightly bitter flavor that was unexpected but surprisingly delicious and well-balanced. My steak was the only disappointment. I ordered it medium, but it was cooked well done. Despite that, the quality of the food and overall experience were still very good. I didn't get a chance to try dessert, but the dessert menu looked incredible and definitely gave me a reason to come back. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and will definitely be returning.

The pasta was al dente perfection and most importantly there were generous sauce portions. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and personable. I dined with a friend and we ordered 3 pastas instead of an appetizer (fantastic choice). We tried the following dishes: *Garganelli Mushroom Ragu and Ricotta Salata. This was by far our favorite dish. It was bursting with flavor, had tons of sauce and cheese and was perfectly cooked. If you enjoy mushroom you MUST order this!! *Tagliatelle Bolognese Bianco (Chicken, Veal, Pork) and Parmigiano. Which was so delicious and has plenty of meat and sauce. The tagliatelle was amazing and tasted to fresh. *Bucatini with Pancetta, Tomato, Chilies and Pecorino. We thought this was good but our least favorite dish of the 3.
