Not a great experience. First off the lady at the register didn't speak any English and when trying to communicate with her to find out what's in certain drinks she couldn't tell me or my 2 friends. I got the ube matcha latte and while it is visually beautiful, there is no sweetener added at all and it seemed to taste like taro with a ton of purple food coloring. My friend got the ube coffee and he took off the lid on his drink and it dripped on the table and stained the table after 2 seconds as he wiped it right away. My other fried order a hit tea and they made an iced tea drink. On top of that all 3 of us got sick later. Can't help but think it was this place as we didn't go elsewhere together. It is also in a weird plaza, as we were waiting for our drinks, we went outside and there was clearly human feces on the sidewalk. read more

This wasn't as good as I thought it'd be. They had the front door propped open too so there was hella flies when I walked in. Yeeeeah... thats what I want, a mouthful of flies with my boba!! This place is an interesting mix between a juice and boba shop. The shop itself is decorated in a very unique way -- there are lots of plants and "wild" themed decor. The menu items seem to reflect that as well. We ordered a jasmine milk tea and the "winter lemon," which is a wintermelon lemon tea. Both drinks were really solid. Not too sweet and good flavors in both. We will definitely consider coming back if we're in the area. read more

Found this place while in the area after eating nearby. Honestly, I didnt think too much of it from the Yelp but it was open late and overall there were fairly good reviews! I'm glad that we chose this place! Upon walking in, I noticed that there were so many things that caught my eye. There were plants for sale, a claw machine with cute Squid Game plushies, and even a little candy section! We were greeted by the really sweet owner(?) who happily guided us through the menu as we looked at it. "Are you craving something milk? fruity? what do you guys like?" That was really sweet!! She gave us her recommendations. My bf got the Honeydew Smoothie to which she answered "Omg! You are like the 15th person who ordered honeydew today! They say that we make it differently here and that its the best!" She wasnt lying!! The honeydew tasted so fresh and it felt like the texture had some honeydew bits in it! I got the Mango Sea Matcha - super interesting but really enjoyable drink! The bottom was a mango smoothie with matcha drink on top. Once you mixed the whole drink, it made a really cool tornado vibe with the drink. Super different than the typical Matcha with Mango bits/puree take on a Mango Matcha. I would definitely come here again if I'm in the area to try more drinks because everything was great quality!! It has it's pro and its cons, for one, the menu is enormous like this menu is enough to fit in 2 more milk tea places, and I enjoy it the lynchee smoothie I order was delicious with the right on sweetness. On the other hand, the place looks very outdated, it look like I stumble upon an old asian grocery store that just happened to sell milk tea. The cups, although they look very nice, are too thin to be stable in cupholder. My cup keeps wobbling around when I drive, and it's very irritating. read more

I've been wanting to make it down to Beastea for a while and it did not disappoint!!! All of the drinks were delicious. I would recommend getting less sweet (think less than 50%) just because all the fresh fruit makes them pretty sweet on their own. My fave drink was the pandan latte. Pretty disappointed we just came here to try out the fruit tea flights but it's on certain days and only when the manager is there which I thought it was confusing. I was here before multiple renovation. The prices used to be really cheap but still it's pretty good. I really like their smoothies and I usually get the avocado and mango ones. There milk teas are also solid, not to sweet and you can taste the tea. When I'm in the area I usually go to this. There's also really good food places in the area as well. Service is pretty fast and it can be somewhat crowded. For the most part I think it's still pretty sleeper. They also sell plants for some reason and it definitely looks more modern now. read more

Stopped by on a super hot day for an afternoon pick me up.There were some really fun, fruity drinks on the menu. I ended up picking the Passion My Tension and an Earl Grey Milk Tea, both with boba. For less than $10 for 2 large drinks with boba, this was a great deal. It took a little while to get my drinks because there were only 2 people working and a couple orders ahead of me. Another thing was that even though it was 100 degrees outside, there was no AC and only a tiny floor fan was on. I had to step outside to wait for my order because it was just too stuffy inside. My drinks were both delicious the fruity one was truly unique. I wish there was more ice added to the drinks especially since it was such a hot day (all the ice melted by the time I got home). I'm pretty particular with my earl grey milk teas, but they did a good job and sweetened it perfectly. I am definitely still adding Beastea to my rotation of boba shops in the South Bay and am interested in trying some of their other specialty drinks. read more

It's a boba shop. They have a variety of different drinks and snacks. Was it exceptional? Yet to be determined. The whole reason we came here was because on Instagram and Yelp (as of 11 days prior) they had boba flights. When we got here, there was only one woman taking orders AND preparing food and she claimed they did not do any flights of any kind. It was empty. There are boxes along the wall leading to the bathroom/kitchen and 3 of 7 tv screens with the menu were completely shut off. It's a small location with a handful of tables. Would we come back? Probably not. We came all the way out here from Fremont and got average boba and coffee drinks. I can find closer places in my neighborhood. This place has been through many renovations over the years but it only keeps getting better, I feel like they're going for an aesthetic vibe which I'm here for. From my first visit, Beastea definitely seems like a reliable shop to get fresh fruit drinks. I ordered and loved their strawberry smoothie! It had a very prominent strawberry flavor (likely due to the addition of a strawberry jam in the mix) and a tartness that balanced the drink so it was not too sweet. While waiting for my order, many people were also ordering the smoothies (mango, watermelon, etc) so they do seem popular for their freshness. If fresh fruit smoothies are not what you are looking for, they have a variety of offering on their menu such as classic milk teas or sugar cane drinks. This was not. I also was not expecting one topping to float and the other to sink, so that the first half of the drink was milk tea + flan and the second half was milk tea + grass jelly. The tea itself tasted fine. 3/5 Storefront was very cluttered. It seemed to be a one-person operation today, the lady would take a drink order then run back and make it before taking the next order. She seemed tired. I'd come back to try a different drink at 25% sweet. The fruit bits were too tart and not ripe as well. After awhile, we both could not drink our boba so asked for some modifications. They were really nice to do so, and it was more bearable after that. Unfortunately the boba itself was a letdown as it seemed overcooked and too mushy; ideally boba should have an chewy texture. The service could have been better. The lady who assisted me seemed to struggle with English, which became apparent when I noticed previous customers having to write down the numbers of the menu items they wanted. On the side the place was impressively clean. There was plenty of parking available outside. Their drink menu had at least 50+ options. They also offered some food choices. One interesting thing they had was plants for sale in store. Despite some drawbacks during my visit to Beastea, such as the boba texture and language barrier with the staff member I might consider going back because of how clean the place was and the wide range of drink options as well as plants, for sale that I didn't get a chance to explore yet. read more

Been looking for a place like this, amazing drinks and great selection (and flavor) of food! My family goes here on a regular basis, about 2-3x a month! My favorite will be the Ube Coffee Latte, and the popcorn chicken is really flavorful and crispy that my child knows when it's not from this place. I love their rolls, it seems like they make it themselves. I've tried a lot of their drinks as well, and nothing short of quality. Always good sized and worth the bucks. Love coming back here. The place gets packed and wait times can be longer on busy times, because it's "busy", and that's how you know everything gets made fresh. I do both take outs and dine-in, and I had times that I stayed for long and it was still a nice time.
