My 1997 Nissan Hardbody D21 up on the turn tables getting "straightened out".

Always great service! Pretty quick service with a minimum wait time. The techs are always on the move to keep the vehicle line moving. Might be a 20 minute wait. It's never really a long wait. I've never timed it. But with all alignment work done here by hand and no laser machines. The minimal wait time is well worth it. I have been bringing my vehicles here over the past 25 years. I fully trust Bear Frame and Wheel with my vehicle. Period.

I was referred to this shop from 88Motors to get an alignment. I've had alignments done before with the latest and the greatest precision alignment machine with computer and laser measurements. However, that really didn't align my car properly. These guys do it the old school...all manual measurements and test drive. Within 20 minutes, my 2023 4Runner was aligned properly....straight as a nail. I live more than an hour away but it was definitely worth it and I'll be bringing my Lexus GX460 next...because after 3 alignment...still pulls to the right. I'm sure this shop will be able to properly align my car.

I love Bear Frame and Wheel. I had a completely flat tire, had AAA put air in it, drove it over and had 2 new tires installed. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and do excellent service for a great price. They have been my go-to place for all my tire, brakes, and alignment needs for many years. Gary is just amazing and I would recommend them to anybody who needs frame or wheel repairs.

I have been coming to Bear Frame for 25 years plus. They have worked on all my vehicles from lowered trucks to lift trucks now cars with hydraulics. I definitely recommend Bear Frame. They know what they're doing when it comes to alignments. If a place this old is still in business it's for a reason. There might be a 1-3 hour wait but it's worth it.

More lug nut seats hurt with aluminum shavings hanging off

I installed coilovers on my car and needed an alignment after installation and lowering. Came in with front passenger coilover cambered in a bit at the knuckle and thought they'd fix it, nope. They fixed the back camber but not the front. Instead they raised my front ride height which I set where I wanted it prior to taking my car in. Probably hoping I'd lower it back down and need another alignment. They did a tire rotation thinking the vibration would go away They replaced an OEM bolt for the coilovers to knuckle holes. Didn't once mention it to me. Then replaced it with a bolt that barely has enough meat not to slip through the hole. At least add a washer mr MECHANIC!?!? When they were "finished" the main guy got out and said, "it's about 90% straight" after having 5 mechanics look at my car, I paid $110 for an alignment that was literally the same leaving as to when I brought it in. Car came in shaking like hell from 10-40mph and left shaking like hell from 10-40mph. He blamed it on my axles that were indeed toast but the car drove straight as an arrow with toasted axles a few days before...I brought the car to them a year prior and they got the alignment perfectly straight. I didn't crash the car what's so ever so it should've have been an easy alignment for a 90s car. They are careless, scratched my rims with the air gun socket. Then looks like they tightened my wheels with the first lug nut way too tight for the other 3 holes to try to line up and seat down. You can see aluminum stuck to the lug nuts from the nuts being forced to seat down inevitably taking aluminum off my rims. This happened on every wheel. Paid for a front and rear alignment only got my steering wheel to point straight for $110, remember the rear was NEVER touched and they still charged me $60

Brought my car in, went over some paperwork and was told I'd be contacted once the inspection was complete. Sure enough Matt called me to let me know there were some items found during inspection and which ones needed to be addressed right away. After agreeing to the updated quote they got to work. I came back to the shop prior to being told my car was ready, and I think there may have been a delay in getting parts needed (dropped the car off at 9am, wasn't done until 4pm). Other than that, the quoted price is what I paid, there wasn't any pushing to buy a service that wasn't needed. I will definitely be bringing my car back for the additional work needed.

I requested a quote through Yelp and my request was sent to multiple auto shops. I chose this…read morecompany based on location and called ahead to confirm they could do more than just read basic codes. I had already done my own diagnostics and knew the car was running rich. I had ruled out the upstream O2 sensor, catalytic converter (both new), MAP sensor, and fuel injectors. I explained all of this to Matt before bringing the car in. He assured me they could perform deeper diagnostics with their equipment. After dropping off the car, Matt called and told me they had "confirmed" exactly what I had already told them, and that the next step would be pulling spark plugs--for an additional fee. At that point, I decided to go elsewhere. What I don't understand is why I was still charged the full $85 diagnostic fee, plus a $4 hazardous materials fee and $3 shop supply fee. Plugging a car into a diagnostic scanner does not generate any hazardous waste--no fluids are drained, no chemicals are used, and no parts are replaced. There's nothing about a basic scan that would justify a hazardous materials charge. That kind of fee typically applies when disposing of things like oil, coolant, or other regulated waste, none of which occurred here. In the end, I paid $92, wasted time and gas, and learned nothing new. The most concerning part was Matt admitting he didn't even know spark plugs would need to be checked as part of further diagnosis.

Our family's Ford Explorer required a water pump replacement…read more I visited several local auto shops to obtain quotes and was shocked, disappointed, and discouraged at the prices I was being quoted for the work my vehicle required ($5,000-$7,500) Shame on me for not reading Yelp reviews before wasting my time visiting other auto shops. I read the many positive reviews for Hye-Tech Auto Repair and decided to visit them. Upon entering, I was greeted by John (owner) with a friendly, "Welcome, how may I help you?" I explained that my Ford Explorer needed a new water pump and a few other items that other auto shops had advised me would require repair or replacement. While John looked up a few items on the computer to provide me with a quote, he introduced me to his son, Harry, who happened to be in the office. Thirty seconds later, John provided a quote that was $3,500-$4,000 less than the other shops. I could not believe it. John explained that he makes his living and succeeds in his business through repeat customers, and he does not believe in gouging customers for every last penny. He also shared that when he retires, his son Harry will take over the business, and he wants to leave Harry with a solid foundation of loyal repeat customers. It was then that I knew I could trust John and his son Harry. John went on to explain that replacing the water pump on a Ford Explorer was a 10-12 hour job, as it was an internal pump requiring numerous engine parts to be removed to reach it. This was the same thing all the other shops advised me. John suggested that I leave my vehicle, and he would perform a full inspection of the engine and contact me before doing anything to it. I agreed and left my vehicle. The following day, I was contacted by John, who advised me that the water pump did indeed need to be replaced, as it was the source of the constant leaks of the water coolant. I left my vehicle in John's shop for three days. During this time, John or his son, Harry, contacted me numerous times to keep me updated on the progress of my vehicle and also to point out that mechanics had discovered two or three very inexpensive items (under $50.00) which they recommended replacing, which I agreed to have done. All in all, I was and am extremely impressed and satisfied with everything about this shop. I spent much less money to have five different issues repaired on my vehicle at Hye-Tech than what I was quoted to replace my water pump alone by every single shop I visited prior to coming to Hye-Tech. John and Harry are very friendly, honest, and trustworthy. They are also very knowledgeable and experienced, and they offer GREAT customer service and communication. This is my new go-to shop for any issues involving our family vehicles. Thank you, Hye-Tech Auto Repair, for a very positive experience.

It's nice to see you can get quotes at the touch of a button on your phone. This morning, I had time off, so I headed in to get my service done. I did not have an appointment and that did not seem to matter. I arrived first thing in the morning at 8 AM and ask if the service could be done. Harry was an exceptional young man, he took me in with no problems, no questions. He said they could do it this morning. I told him I would have to wait. He had no problem with that either. Prior to bring in the car in this morning, as I said, I used a yelp project and had several people reach out and give me quotes. After looking at all the yelp reviews I decided to give this place a try. I am super happy that I did. This place is a hidden gem, excellence, service, quality, and value for what you receive. There are not very many shops where you could feel comfortable and put your trust in them. As I spent time in the lobby, I was able to see customer service on the phone and customer service entering the facility. Every customer that walked in, seem satisfied and was treated with dignity and respect. I highly recommend this place if you have any automotive questions whatsoever.

5 Stars - TMC Auto Repair in Diamond Bar (aka the place that actually gives a damn)…read more Let me paint you a quick "before and after" picture so funny it hurts: Scene 1: Midas in Diamond Bar, 3:50 PM I roll up with a driver's window that's basically on permanent vacation (stuck halfway like it's trying to ghost me). The guy behind the counter doesn't even glance at the car. Doesn't ask a question. Just grunts, "Yeah, it's the motor." Me: "Cool, wanna pop the door panel and confirm? I'll pay for the diag, takes 10-15 minutes tops." Him: refuses to move, refuses to look, basically treats me like I'm trying to sell him oceanfront property in Arizona. I left wondering if "customer service" is now Latin for "get lost." Scene 2: TMC Auto Repair (literally two minutes away, same day) I used to go to this shop years ago when it had a different name. Now it's TMC and let me tell you -- it should be called TLC because that's exactly what they give you. Walked in frustrated and Martin greeted me like a human being who mattered. He listened to my Midas horror story, laughed with me (not at me), and said, "Let's actually look at it." One of his techs pulled the door panel in like 8 minutes and... drumroll... the motor was bad and there was a broken plastic piece in the regulator (exactly what I told Midas Guy, who apparently moonlights as a psychic but forgot to charge his crystal ball). They got the window temporarily working until the new part arrives, didn't overcharge me, and treated me like I've been their customer for a decade (because I basically have). Moral of the story: Midas Diamond Bar just lost a customer for life in under five minutes. TMC gained a customer for life in under five minutes. Martin and his crew are professional, honest, fast, and actually enjoy fixing cars instead of playing "guess the problem from the lobby." If you're anywhere near Diamond Bar/Walnut area and need work done by people who treat you like family (the good kind, not the dysfunctional Thanksgiving kind), go see these guys. 10/10, will be back the second that part shows up -- and for every oil change, brake job, and random rattle from now until my car retires. TMC, you have my undying loyalty... and my window now goes up AND down. Magic. Show less

I had traveled to Azusa for work and was about an hour away from home when my truck suddenly started overheating. Coolant was dumping all over the ground, and I honestly thought I was looking at a huge repair bill. A helpful guy at AutoZone checked it out and told me my radiator had likely cracked, so I bought a new radiator for about $275 thinking that had to be the issue. I started calling around to different auto shops, and T&K Auto Repair was the only place willing to take me in on such short notice. I had my truck towed over there and I was stressed out. That's when I realized there are still honest and genuinely good people out there. The mechanic inspected my truck and quickly figured out the radiator wasn't even the problem. It turned out to be the serpentine belt tensioner. Instead of charging me for unnecessary repairs, he explained everything clearly, reassured me through the whole process, and had me return the radiator I bought. The actual part I needed only cost me about $55, and he fixed everything in under an hour. In a situation where he easily could've upcharged me and I never would've known the difference, he chose honesty instead. That kind of integrity is rare nowadays. This happens on April 30, 2026 and ever since the repair, and my truck has been running great. The mechanic was kind, professional, reassuring, and honest from start to finish. I'm beyond grateful for the help and highly recommend T&K Auto Repair to anyone looking for trustworthy mechanic.
